This WHITE BLUE with CLOUDS AND MOUNTAINS DECAL, FOOD TRUCK was at Civic Center Eats on the LAST DAY of Thursday September 26th 2013. Time was about 11:30hrs ish. The prices of the food from Streets Eats this afternoon was between $7 to $12. I wanted to order the Soft Shell Crabs at first, BUT I think the Kalbi was calling my name. So I went to the truck and ask the lovely staff, "I have a Question is the Kalbi, the MOO or The Oink Oink???.. She replied it was BEEF!! SCORE for the Kabli. So I purchased it. It was $10. I waited for abit, and when she called my name, Aemmmm... The smell of the Kabli.... DROOL!!! At first the food came out hot but by the time, I try to find a place to eat, my Lunch turn COLD so fast. *SAD FACE* But the portion with the pricing was A-OK. The Kabli covers the rice, though have ALOT of meat, the rice was a little let down. The Kimchi and the Seaweed Salad, were just A-OK. I so wish if the Kimchi is spicy but it was NOT. The Seaweed Salad, was a little plain. I am indeed torn about StreetEats5280.com. I like the flavors, I so wish I could have more. But from my observations were when eating the Kabli, and using the clear plastic cutlery... Err, not sharp enough to cut the Kalbi, and I have to "force" a little ALOT! Then by the time, I finish, due to the "Paper" Plates that they used, it tends to "soak ALOT" hence making the Paper Plate a little undesirable and I could see the Paper Plate "shred" abit. Maybe if they used better quality paper plates these incidents wont happen?? Nevertheless, I would definitely find Street Eats Food Truck in the future coz while I was at Civic Center Eats 2013, Street Eats 5280 offer like 8 different kind of dishes.. This time I got the Korean spiced fried chicken sandwich. YUM! BUT $8 for a chicken sandwich is the reason for the three stars. At least give me a cheap-o bag of chips for that price. The flavor was great. The bun held up nicely. The pickled cucumbers (they were different than actual pickles) on top were a very nice touch!! I'll more than likely be back again.. And will more than likely pay $8 for the convenience of stepping out of my office door and having them right there. Service was great and the wait time was right on point. But.. I really wish they would offer a small side with their sandwiches.. Even like a 1/3 order of sweet potato fries.. Or like I said.. Cheap-O Chips! read more

For price to what you get, it's not really worth it. I got the "Not your mommas PB&J" which is a grilled/fried pork belly burger with Thai peanut sauce, Cilantro, pickled red onion and sweet/sour sauce. The flavors of this burger did really well together, especially with the kick of Cilantro but the pork belly itself is lacking. The meat is dried out and tough. Like overcooked pork. It doesn't melt in your mouth the way pork belly should. In comparison to other food truck servings, this burger really lacked the middle of the burger. I got 4 pieces of pork belly sliced pretty thin and half of that pork belly is essentially fat. There were only a few strands of toppings and a little smear of sauce. For $9, not worth it at all! Yea, you guys are awesome! Friendly, got through the line quickly. So many different kinds of food: noodle bowls, boar and elk dogs, lettuce wraps. Great addition to a food truck party! The noodles with pork were really good. The all beef hot dog was really, really good. The wild boar dog with apricots and cranberries was excellent. I will elaborate on the wild boar since that was mine. First it was huge on a nice warm bun. I was hoping it too not be too sweet and it wasn't. You can see a cranberry or apricot here or there, but it was just the perfect amount. And top with spicy mustard and jalapenos, wow! read more

The guy waiting on people at the Street Eats at Civic Center Eats was kind of a jerk. I think my experience would have been better had the guy been more personable. It was like we were an inconvenience to him. He handed me the credit card machine because I thought I was supposed to sign something. It kept saying "authorize." I finally handed it back to him. Then he told me to scoot over so he could help the next person. Rude! I finally asked if I should have swiped my name on the machine. He said no. Then why did he hand it to me? There better not be an unauthorized tip on my credit card statement. I had the Asian meatball sandwich. It was good. But like I said, my dining experience would have been better had it not been for the jerk at the counter. My friend had a noodle dish that looked dried out. He asked her if she wanted sriracha sauce on her noodles. She didn't hear him so she said, "What?" He said, "Do you want hot sauce?" Again, rude! It's not like she didn't know what the sauce was (she's a foodie). She just didn't hear him. Her noodles looked dried out with the exception of the "hot sauce" on them. We thought the food was excellent! We tried what one of the employees said was his favorite, a Korean Cheesesteak sandwich. The flavor was delicious and it was a generous portion. My daughter got the Lo Mein with Korean pork. It had a nice, smoky flavor and was also a nice sized portion. The star of our dinner was the sweet potato fries. They were crispy and full of flavor. The guy running the truck is rude and kind of a sarcastic jerk. Perhaps the food is good, and I hope for their sake it is. I don't even know because the customer service was so poor that I didn't even order. Don't worry I will just move on to the next truck with good food and good service. read more

I was at Mountain Toad Brewery in Golden and they were the food truck that day. This place had really nice people working and the food was great. I had never had softshell crab before and it was great. read more

Got to try them at an employee appreciation catering event and I enjoyed the food. The portion was very generous for sampler type fare. We had the BBQ pork bun and Korean cheesesteak and both were tasty. The young girl working the front of the truck collecting tickets was really nice despite the big crowd of hungry people she had to serve. I give 4 stars for the food but rounded it up to a 5 because she was pleasant :) read more
