Love the coffee, food, service, and atmosphere of this coffee cafe with a great mission! Stumbled across this place as I was looking for a coffee shop with open air seating while I waited for my daughter at a nearby appointment. Service is excellent and they always ask if I want my pastry warmed up! Very comfortable spot to relax and get some work done while enjoying a great cup of coffee!

We searched for a espresso shop near space needle and came across street bean coffee, it had good reviews so stopped by. It was early afternoon so just couple of people. Ordered cappuccino, coffee, hot chocolate. Hot chocolate came fast and my son loved it, then came cappuccino, it was perfect, loved it. But after more than 20 mins my husband got his coffee and he dint liked it much. Service was good, restrooms were not clean. Recommend this place

Cute and cozy coffee shop with friendly staffs. They have a nice menu selections. They also have outdoor seatings as well. I got chai latte w/ a shot of espresso (5/5) - perfectly made and not too sweets. I also tried my friend green tea matcha (4/5) - not overly sweets and delicious

Would I come back? Since we had about an hour wait before breakfast, my friend and I decided to look for a coffee shop. Street Bean is a clean and quiet place where you can sit for a while and enjoy the warmth. Plus they have free wifi and outlets to recharge. I ordered the mocha which I thought was different from other places. It was light and did not have tons of chocolate powder like you would get at other places. My friend ordered the Americano which he said was burning hot. If you are looking to get out of the cold weather while waiting for your breakfast (Tilikum Place), I would recommend coming here. The price of two 12 oz coffees came out to be under $10. They have pastries at the counter for purchase as well.

Lovely coffee place within walking distance of Space Needle. Small menu of coffee and pastry options. They also have made-to-order bagel sandwiches in the mornings (and lunch sandwiches later on). The bagel sandwiches were very delicious, we ended up going back to the counter to order a second one after scarfing down our first one. Staff was super friendly and they have wifi/outlets throughout with a handful of tables.

Great coffee. Great people. Great mission. Stopped by this morning since my neighborhood go to was busier than usual and Street Bean was on my way to work. As soon as I walked into the store, I was greeted by the barista and she started on my drink right away. The space was open, light with lots of windows, and relatively busy with others starting their mornings. I got an 8oz caramel latte (my go to) which was buttery and smooth. The roast is slightly too acidic for my preference, but I think at this point it is really up to personal taste. What is super cool about the company is that they make their business about giving back to the local homeless community through all proceeds AND by providing job training and jobs for homeless youth. I'll be back anytime I'm grabbing coffee in the area AND will definitely be supporting them!

Love that this is a nonprofit that supports the youth. The music and vibe is relaxing. My cappuccino was good. The blueberry scone was missing something....left room for improvement. But overall a great experience.

Wow, just wow. I've had my fair share of supporting local coffee shops and I stand by supporting them for this very reason. Not only does Street Bean Coffee make an awesome cup of joe, they also have an amazing mission for their shop. They are a non-profit coffee shop that takes in street-involved young adults to help change their lives around. I asked one of the girls and she also mentioned that not only do they provide jobs, they also provide housing. The shop is really cute! Huge window panes that let in a lot of natural light, wood tables, great lighting, comfy chairs, and pretty much everything you would want in a coffee shop. The baristas are friendly as well--if I wasn't told that a lot of those working were from the streets, I wouldn't have known. I ordered a vanilla latte with non-fat milk and a ham and cheese croissant. My vanilla latte was delicious; just the right amount of espresso and milk. The latte art was precious--he tried to do a heart. Now, the ham and cheese croissant. I don't cannot even describe how delicious this croissant was. The ham was rich and flavorful and the cheese was soft and just melts in your mouth. The texture of the croissant was baked to perfection. It was light and flaky. Move over Starbucks, you don't have anything on Street Bean.

I consider Street Been Espresso one of my favorite finds this trip. It's a non profit manned by staff with a little troubled past. You wouldn't know it based on the peaceful setting it imparts. Here the staff are given a chance to improve their lives and learn life skills and get off the streets and homelessness. It's sparse but tastefully decorated. They sell t-.shirts that I wish I got just to support a business that supports the less fortunate. Comfortable couches and a very relaxing atmosphere with free wifi. I heard from company that coffee here is stiff. Oh yeah. If you're into coffee art they can do it here. #coffeeart#nonprofit#goodkarmahere

Ah! Lovely place. Great lattes and filling, tasty pastries to boot. My computer wasn't picking up their wifi, but that's ok - I didn't need to use the internet anyway. Music was great for focusing - I can't remember the last time I was as productive as I was at Street Bean. Definitely will be returning!

If it wasn't for the time I was desperately looking for a bathroom to use in the area, I probably would have not known about Street Bean Espresso. The baristas were nice and didn't seem irritated when I asked to use the bathroom before ordering a drink. I ended up with an espresso that I enjoyed. I was surprised with how spacious this place was so I hung out to charge my phone until they closed at 6 p.m. I'll be hanging out here instead of the Starbucks on 1st and Bell when I'm in the neighborhood.

This is Seattle special coffee place. From street life to baristas. They use sustainable harvesting practices and only buy green coffee. It's a nonprofit Institution that provides street involved young adults the opportunity to reclaim their lives, one coffee at a time. To encourage community involvement they have a 50/50 club. Great way to support the young community and do good. Today's images are not about the coffee shop. There are plenty of images on Yelp reviews. These images are about wall decor on the south side that faces a parking lot. Great place for the caffeine fix, anytime of the day.

Exposed brick wall and warm tones from the wood furniture makes this shop a cozy third place. A few indoor plants give it a fresh touch. The baristas here are definitely dedicated to their craft! Their drink offerings are standard, although they also have housemade syrups and specialty drinks (seasonal mochas, lattes, etc) if you want to try something different. I love how they highlight their single origin espresso on the menu with the tasting notes. They also offer matcha and teas if you're more into that. I haven't tried any bakery goods, but looking at the pastry case, they're quite popular. Victrola embodies the perfect Seattle coffeehouse- one that I wish people knew more widely rather than the twin tailed siren that's spread globally...

I don't normally drink coffee (I'm more of a tea person, if all the boba and tea shop reviews I…read morewrite don't say anything!), but I'm always up for new experiences, especially ones that allow me to expand my taste horizons and ability to describe flavors and aromas. After booking a tea tasting at a local tea shop, I went around looking for coffee tastings and found Victrola. Every Friday at 11AM, they offer a free tasting class, so we, of course, booked the very next Friday! Arriving at the shop a bit before 11AM, it was pretty full, with most tables taken and a short line of 2-3 people in front of me. We checked in with the cashier and he said the barista was getting things ready. Maybe 5 minutes later, we were led to the room in the back, where the barista introduced the tasting experience and handed us two sheets of paper, one with the anatomy of a coffee cherry, and the other with their coffee flavor wheel. For this week, it was only us two for the tasting, so we had a full monopoly of the barista (according to him, the prior week was 8 people!). We were able to try two coffees - both single origin, one from Guatemala and the other from Colombia. We started by sniffing the beans and grounds, with the Guatemalan emanating notes of lightly roasted peanuts (per tasting notes, it's milk chocolate, orange, and "elegant") and the Colombian with dark soy and umami notes (per tasting notes, it's pineapple, melon, and date), at least to my nose. The barista brewed both via pour over (if I remember correctly, it was 203F water with 20g of the Guatemalan, 24g of the Colombian in 360g of water). I forgot the exact grind sizes he used. Interestingly, the flavor profile of the Colombian was completely different to me between the grounds and the final brew. Very fruity throughout - I'm not that adept at description, but it's definitely a fresher, crisp fruit, not dried fruit, and not red fruit or berries, nor citrus. I'll have to file this one away as pineapple and green apple, per the barista. In terms of mouthfeel, it's thick, almost syrupy, coating the mouth with the fruity flavors. The Guatemalan, on the other hand, is completely different, starting with roasted coffee, then still with the peanut notes, but also adding a caramel-like essence. Very 'brown' on the color wheel. Mouthfeel-wise, thinner, watery like tea. I have never had good quality coffee before and this was certainly an experience that opened my eyes to how good coffee can actually be. I still have a ton of tea leaves to go through, but perhaps when I'm nearing the end, I'll have to start drinking more coffee. Tea, then chocolate, and now maybe coffee? My wallet is crying...
