The lilac in particular needed expert pruning, it was a wonderful sight. It was full size with fantastic colors and its sweet and unique lilac scent. It was also clear its roots had become invasive. I enjoyed talking with Roberto about the things I could do to brighten my yard, he had such great ideas. I was excited and decided to go for it. We set a date and Roberto came right on time with a team of 5 wonderful employees. He had selected and bought all the plants about which we had talked. His team spent the entire day trimming my trees, removing a tree stump, and of course planting a wide assortment of plants and flowers. They even created a circle around my lilac with an assortment of colorful plants. Roberto did an amazing job in my yard; I have had many compliments. I highly recommend Roberto for his professionalism, splendid work, and honesty.

Gleison, one of the owners, came out the next day to take a look at the property and give a free consultation during which he was very nice, helpful and clearly passionate about his craft. His crew did the work the day after with Gleison working alongside. They were efficient, professional and did quality work in just a few hours cleaning up the entire front and backyard of pine needles and leaves and then mowing, aerating and seeding at a very reasonable price. They even quoted a gutter cleanup at 2x less than what I paid in the past. I will continue to use Mow and Grow in the future.

Not very professional, they sent unskilled workers with not the right tools, not in time, and left work undone twice. When faced with the facts, they made excuses and pushed back. Eventually they took care of their mistakes but when it came to get it right, they tried to over- charge for a routine make good fix. Poor communication after they got their job. Poor execution of the job. And Nobody to talk to, just voicemail and 2 days delay responses. Don't go for the low ball estimates with hidden surcharges!! They personalize service, provide high quality design work, are thoughtful with planning and fit with client style, esthetics, and desires along with consideration of background and setting. I had them provide estimates on a stone patio, custom outdoor kitchen, and some softscape work, and their designs were outstanding. We were able to meet in their studio, go through thoughts, and the plans went through some (minor) revisions over time. They stayed in touch with emails and calls frequently, and their timeline to get started was on time despite some supply chain issues (e.g., were not overcommitted and did not overpromise). The finished product was awesome. My friends and family are so impressed, and it's brought be significant satisfaction. The workers were always considerate, on time, treated my house and property with care, and open to feedback. Their subcontractors, which were few as many were in-house, were excellent, too. I'm surprised how well things went given my experience with construction and renovations in other avenues. When there was some material that was billed as something that would be soft on the feet but wasn't too our liking, they replaced it at their own cost. Their price point is very reasonable for the lux services they provide, as the other Boston Top 10 Landscape Architect and Construction organizations I got quotes from were much more expensive and weren't even as reasonable and attentive! They were able to hold to the original price point fairly closely, with a few increases due to some extra asks on our part, and suggestions for changes that felt to be better design along the way. There was very few to no surprises. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have been using Smart Landscaping for years and was previously happy with the service. This year…read morehas been the worst year working with them and I will no longer work with them. Here are some of the reasons: - They never notify us when they are coming so if we do not take our lights down in our bushes, they end up destroyed as they say in their contract they are not responsible. We have had to replace several lights and also ripped furniture covers. I watch the crew just rush through the work without any regards to quality or our things and do not care if they destroy them. - They supposedly removed weeds, however we ended up with poisonous India Poke weed in our flower beds. - Our lawn had several yellow spots and despite reaching out to them about it I never heard back. - We do not do lawn mowing with them and they mowed our lawn with the Fall clean up and charged us for this without asking. It was not outlined in the contract that they would do a lawn mowing with fall clean up. Its unfortunate that this service has gone down hill. I liked working with them for years and had been happy with them in the past and hopefully this review will help them adjust their practices.

Orli and his team completed the entire project in about a week and half. Throughout this time they were professional and easy to work with. We love the results even more than we thought we would- see before and after pictures to see their work! We would definitely recommend All Star Boston Landscaping and Masonry.
