Best no nonsense lawn and snow removal company. I found them on Yelp, Gleison the owner is always so quick and responsive. They came when he said they would and did good work. Sometimes I'd find out it was going to snow when his team would come pretreat our driveway. read more

I contacted Mow and Grow for a spring cleanup, mowing, aerating and reseeding after purchasing a house in the area. Gleison, one of the owners, came out the next day to take a look at the property and give a free consultation during which he was very nice, helpful and clearly passionate about his craft. His crew did the work the day after with Gleison working alongside. They were efficient, professional and did quality work in just a few hours cleaning up the entire front and backyard of pine needles and leaves and then mowing, aerating and seeding at a very reasonable price. They even quoted a gutter cleanup at 2x less than what I paid in the past. I will continue to use Mow and Grow in the future. read more

After putting in a new pool, we had a quite large area of yard that needed to be raked with topsoil and re seeding. Glieson was fantastic with the whole process. Made it easy to schedule which was challenging to begin with as my wife and I do not work from home. It's only been a week since the hydro seed was laid down and we are already sprouting some grass so hopefully it continues. Overall I trust that he and his team have done a great job. We were also comfortable with the price and there was low pressure to buy. read more

Gleison and his team do great work! Was looking for a new landscaper for the season; spring clean-up, edging & mulching, and weekly mowing. Gleison promptly responded and came out to give us a competitive quote - not the cheapest, not the most expensive. They did a great job with spring clean-up, high quality work. Would recommend to anyone looking for landscaping services. read more

He does do a decent job, but his pricing is off the charts. There are much better landscapers out there for a lot less money.

We heartily recommend MOW & GROW LAWN SERVICES for all kinds of yard work. They did the best Spring cleanup in our wooded yard and flower beds we've had in the 50+ years we've lived in our house. I am in my 80s and ill now and unable to do even the flower bed cleanup I could do even a couple of years ago. After we talked about what we need, even in view of several years of neglect: Gleison and his crew if 5 other guys came and in 3 hours had cleaned the flower beds by hand, being careful with tender sprouts if perennials and ferns. Then they blew leaves well off into the woods, spreading leaves (so no piles to breed mosquitoes in the summer), removing the sticks & tree debris too (we have a lawn service for weed & feed, & my husband still mows our smallish back yard lawn). The above they did on all sides, 6 men in 3 hours. The care and thorough attention was unmatched by any other landscaping service we've ever had. The bill was very reasonable. We negotiated the price before the work was done. I cannot recommend Gleison and his crew highly enough. We plan to hire them regularly to fertilize and mulch and do other chores we very oldies can no longer do. They have made it possible for me to enjoy the garden for at least one more season. Hire them. You won't be disappointed. read more

We recently switched to Mow and Grow after reading their reviews on Yelp and evaluating a few other companies. We are very happy with their service. The first project was lawn repair work which went very well. They are now doing our weekly mowing and fall cleanup. We are very happy with their service, attention to detail and level of communication. read more

Would give these folks more stars if I could. We needed our yard cleaned up after a summer of complete neglect while our house was renovated. They came in and hand weeded EVERYTHING. Even without much direction, they were super careful and thorough. They also trimmed the bushes, cleared debris, and seeded bare spots. Super prompt and reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Contacted business about overseeding as lawn was bare, had areas of dead grass, many problems. Got a quote very quickly and great communication by the owner. Once we accepted, they gave us a date and 3 guys showed up as scheduled- worked hard for 3 hours. We've been watering as directed and our lawn looks fantastic!!! We've recommended them to several of our neighbors. Among the sea of lawns in the neighborhood, ours is one of the few which is green. Would hire again - it was a great price, great communication & great work. read more

For the past few years, Mow and Grow came out weekly to maintain our lawn during the summer. We also had them do seeding and grub remediation at different points in time. They were reliable and provided solid service for the cost. In late April, Gleison sent us an email stating 'after careful consideration and research we feel the need to make some changes this upcoming season to be able to fully commit and guarantee satisfaction to our customers. Unfortunately these changes include letting go some of our valued clients, which means that for the 2021 season we will not be able to provide you with lawn care services.' I'm guessing we didn't generate enough money for Mow and Grow, since we did not opt in for the very costly fall and spring cleanups ($800 for 1/3 acre). While that is somewhat understandable, what is unacceptable is waiting until the absolute last minute to send an email with little time to secure another landscaping service (two weeks ahead of when the seasons first mowing was expected). We reached out to Gleison via email to discuss this and he could not be bothered to respond. Hire at your own risk! read more

We have been using Mow and Grow for our landscaping needs for the past few years. We have always been impressed with their responsiveness to pir requests and the thorough work their team does. When we learnt that they also do patios and walkways we immediately contacted Gleison for a quote since we were looking to extend our current patio. Gleison was very responsive and provided us with a very reasonable quote within 2 days. He also suggested design options and pavers we could use. When we requested to have a look at the pavers, he accompanied us to the vendor and provided insights into various choices. He was also extremely accomodative of our last minute design chnages. His entire team was extremely diligent with the work they did and we couldnt be more happier with how the patio has turned out. We would highly recommend Gleison and the entire Mow and Grow team for all landscaping needs. read more

I let my lawn go for a short period of time as we were busy with life. Mow and Grow got back to me asap and came in a pinch. Was nice that they were able to help me out, a few other local lawn care services didn't ever get back to me. Would call Mow and Grow back for sure! read more

Mow and Grow is what you expect when you need landscaping services for your home. We were in a big dilemma last summer when our landscaper dropped us due to a billing issue without even contacting us. When they didn't show up for two week and the grass was really tall I had to scramble to find a lawn service. Mow and Grow came to the rescue and I wish I had found them earlier. They do an amazing job, extremely efficient, friendly and leave the property without a blade of grass out of place. We are now starting our second year with them and the did an amazing spring cleanup. I would highly recommend Mow and Grow to anyone that is looking to have a reliable, and efficient, team take care of your property. read more

I have had Gleison do two major projects at my house and I can't wait to have him back to do more. He and his crew are very courteous and really good at their job. On the first project, we had a 30x40 garden that was overgrown and we wanted it demolished and turn it back into part of our yard. Gleison tilled the soil, removed all the debris, added loam, leveled it out and planted grass. The results were outstanding. You cannot even tell the garden was ever part of the yard. The second project we asked Gleison and his crew to remove 6-10 feet of shrub/weeds and other overgrown bushes from about 1,000 feet of our property. They did it in about 2 days which was amazing. All the debris was removed and the areas cleaned up. It is amazing how open the property looks and friends that come over look at the space in awe of how much was removed and how you can't even tell it was ever there. Gleison is great to work with and I look forward to him working on more projects in the near future. read more

Gleison and his partner did a good job. Price was fair and they were ahead of schedule. Highly recommend!

Due to excellent ratings on YELP my wife contacted them and told them of our needs for lawn care. They gave her information on what they charge and made an appointment to come by this afternoon. April 6. They were a no show and did not call. Don't know what else to say! read more

Gleison and the team did an absolutely fantastic job on some landscaping and masonry work for us recently. Our front landscaping had gotten very overgrown and we wanted to start fresh. In only a day's work, they were able to completely tear everything out (including a tree) and have our new landscape planted. Later in the week, they were back to repair some stone steps for us that had been cracked for some time. We would highly recommend them for any landscaping or masonry work and will be giving them our business again! read more

They do excellent work. Couldn't be happier with the projects they have done for us.

Great Response time, great service, great price, and easy to schedule. Would highly recommend Mow and Grow to anyone.

Mow and Grow Lawn Services has been the best service I've ever had for lawn care and snow removal (and I've used 4 other landscapers in this area.) Gleison responded immediately and had a crew start the next day. I agree with the other reviewers, their level of detail is amazing. My shrubs out front had become crazy and unkempt and they looked amazing when the Gleison and his crew were done, trimming several by hand. They still look amazing a year later. Very courteous and attentive, and their prices are very reasonable too. Call them, you be the envy of the neighborhood! read more

Gleison and his team at Mow and Grow are AMAZING. Gleison was responsive, honest, proactive, and professional in all our dealings with him. His crew came when he promised, worked the entire day, gave top-notch service, and were competitively priced. Our yard was badly overgrown and all the gardens were overrun with weeds and grass. Within two days, all our gardens were weeded, edged and the bark mulch was spread. Our yard has never looked so beautiful and we have Gleison and his company to thank. Will use again and HIGHLY recommend them!! read more

Gleison and his brother did an absolutely fantastic job in laying down a new lawn in my backyard. They dug up tree stumps and laid down new loam, at a relatively late time during the growing season for new grass. The quality of loam and the seeds they used were both top notch. It was up to me to keep up the watering to get the grass to grow, and boy did it grow! The lawn is full of incredibly health grass. A few points about Gleison that I feel set his business above other landscaping businesses: 1. His estimate was exactly what we paid. The work wasn't easy, and he and his brother did the work over two days at the estimate he provided, which was better than other lawn companies I contacted. 2. He was an excellent communicator. He was responsive by email and text, and let me know when he was coming, and when he was finished. He also helped address some of my early concerns. 3. The best part was that he actually stopped by to check on the lawn a couple of weeks later. We had laid down some straw and he suggested we pull it up to make it a bit easier for the new seed to grow, so he ended up raking up the straw. I offered to pay him for this work, but he didn't accept. Gleison is truly a great landscaper. He cares about his work, he's an excellent communicator and he wants his work to succeed; a great businessman. You should hire him next time you need work down on your land! I will definitely hire him again next time I need major OR small work done. read more

Mow and Grow did a wonderful job on cleaning up our yard this past Spring. Gleison is so nice and professional. My husband and I are looking forward to having them back later this year for some stone work. Five-star recommendation for this company! read more

Gleison responded promptly about scheduling a time to give me an estimate on my property. He came by -completely understanding about the social distancing thing - and gave me a quote in about 15 minutes. Amazingly he had a crew in the area and texted me about 1.5 hours later that the team would be over in the afternoon. The team came and completely, magnificently, cleaned up my yard - to a level I didn't even think was possible. We had a ton of leftover leaves from the fall and winter, and untold felled branches and stickes (plus about a million acorns scattered about). Nothing remained when they left. But, before they were finished, Gleison took a long tour of the yard and had some of his guys come back and hand rake some spots. The attention to detail and professionalism was impressive. He was also just a really nice guy. I'll be calling them again soon about other projects! read more

They came promptly to estimate and to do the work once I agreed. I thought the price was a little high but my yard looks fantastic.

Gleison and his crew were awesome. Our yard was long overdue for a clean up and mulch. He was quick to respond and came out next day for a quote. He scheduled us a couple days later when we agreed on the terms. The work was more than we expected for a fair price. Planning on continuing to work with him and his company on future projects! read more

I had contacted several landscapers to aerate/overseed our existing lawn and turn an overgrown flower bed into lawn. Gleison replied to my outreach on the same day and came out the next day to look at the property. He provided a reasonable quote within a week and gave availability to complete the project within a week from that. Gleison showed up today with his team to complete the job and they're great! His communication throughout the process was exemplary, his pricing was very fair and he takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend this team for all of your landscaping needs! read more
