The communication with the office was impeccable! The were helpful with getting me scheduled for the day of the week that worked best for my work schedule. Text updates, to keep me informed, and showed up at the exact time specified. Walked through the yard to confirm order, and very informative to any suggestions they had for my specific needs. They were here a little over 2-hours for my job, and complete clean up was out standing. I will use this company again in the future, and recommend them to anyone that requires top notch service. Thank you to all, at New England Tree Masters! read more

We have used New England Tree Masters at least three times over the years. Most recent cutting was 16 pine trees of various sizes, some large. Work included setting up a large crane twice and avoiding utility lines. Everything including clean-up was done in one day. Great job. read more

We just had N.E. Tree Masters back a fourth time in the past year to address our large tree removal and tree trimming needs. This company brings to every job an impressive array of heavy machinery and a highly skilled team capable of efficiently dealing with a wide variety of tree work needs. All NE Tree Masters teams have been professional and courteous. These guys fully addressed our questions before beginning and ensured we were satisfied at various times during the project. Pricing was always fair. Clean up was thorough. I will continue counting on NE Tree Masters for my future tree work. read more

New England Tree Masters - Tree Services Near Me - Boxborough, Massachusetts

We recently had a two-story tall tree removed by New England Tree Masters. In addition to the nearly $2,000 that we paid for this service, New England Tree Masters charged us an additional $100 to have someone come by a few days later to grind up the stump. The person left a huge pile of stump grindings and tire marks all over our yard without hauling anything away. Two weeks later, we are still calling around, trying to find a landscaper with capacity during spring cleanup season to remove the pile of dirt sitting in the middle of our yard. If you use New England Tree Masters, expect to have to spend a few day and another chunk of change figuring out how to finish the job for them. read more

Matteo and his crew were terrific. So efficient, so nice to work with. CJ did the estimate. It was worth every penny. Thank you very much.

Hired NE Tree Masters to remove four decent sized trees near the house. They came on time, worked quickly, professionally and minimized impact on my neighbors. They left the yard cleaner then when they arrived. Getting the estimate was quick, competitive to other bids I received and was able to complete the work faster then others could. I would highly recommend them if you need tree work done! read more

Quick response, very thorough, nice work. My regular tree guy was not responding, and I saw the New England Tree Masters ad in the "Concord Bridge," so I decided to call them. I'm glad I did. Issues I'd been struggling with all fall were resolved in a few days. I had them trim a very tall Cedar hedge and another hedge that I struggled with, clean up a tree overwhelmed by Bittersweet, and haul away a downed tree. They used a bucket truck for the hedge and tree. I called on Monday afternoon, got an estimate on Wednesday morning, and scheduled the work for the following Monday. It was all done in a week. I 100% would recommend them for tree work in Concord. And I appreciate they support our local newspaper! read more

The crew arrived exactly as stated and did a wonderful job removing several trees over 100 feet and removed some very large branches that were growing too close to house. read more

We've used NE TreeMasters several times at 2 different properties and have found them to be reasonable, skilled and super efficient. CJ does a great job on estimating, the scheduling is prompt and the crews are very careful & professional. We'll continue to use them whenever we need tree work. read more

New England Tree Masters is highly skilled to remove very complex trees. Their upbeat sales rep CJ looked at my nine 100-foot pines in the fall which were 225 feet from the road. He said no need for an extra-large crane. We can set up our crane in the vegetable garden in the fall or winter. The crane will reach them all from one set up. That was a relief!! The garden's soft soil was about 18" deep which the crane would sink into. It was decided to make road using 60 yards of 2" stone, three large dump trucks. The road was about 75 feet long. An excavator dug out a path and stone was laid 2 feet deep. On crane day the crew arrived at 6:45 am. The crane drove in and after an hour and a half it was set up. The crew members were happy and eager to take down the 9 tall pines. The furthest tree was a150 feet away. After 8 hours the trees were removed. Super-fast and efficient. The crew and CJ were delightful to work with. I highly recommend New England Tree Masters to remove your trees. read more

If they offered a half a star, I would give that. They quoted a job of removing a large oak tree, work scheduled the following Wednesday. They called the day before and cancelled, saying an emergency came up. No problem. We rescheduled for the following Wednesday. Again, they called the day before to cancel again. Ok, no problem again. Again, scheduled for the next Wednesday. When that day came, they were a no show in the morning so I had to call and they said they will call me back. They called back and said their equipment had issues the day before so they needed to go back and finish the job. Strike 3, they are out! There are too many tree service companies out there. read more

In less than a week after I first contacted the company I had an estimate and two days later my tall, completely dead maple had been felled, carried out in pieces by hand, chipped up and hauled away with no damage to other trees, my lawn and landscaping, my paver walkways or asphalt driveway. No mess either. They were the best -- highly skilled , efficient, and thorough under tight conditions where a bucket could not be of service. Other arborists had walked away from the job, but Tree Masters didn't. Their slogan was accurate. I'm a believer. read more

Five stars just doesn't seem like enough. New England Tree Masters removed 30+ trees from our yard ranging from 6" to 30" diameters. From the first time I met CJ it was clear that they had the knowledge, scale, and skill to do the job. That was important because three of the large diameters trees were over 50' tall and separated our house from the neighbors with only 15' between the trees and each of our houses. Yikes! When the big day arrived they showed up in force with a 65 ton crane, chipper, log movers, and a crew of 8. It was like watching a perfectly choreographed dance routine. Everyone had a job, everyone worked in coordination with everyone else, and in 10 hours they were gone. The next day Martine showed up to remove the stumps and remove them he did. He worked hard for almost 8 hours in 100 weather to remove not only the top of the stump but what was underneath it as well. This company is the definition of "quality" and "value". Great decision and terrific result. read more

We called them 10 minutes before closing on a Friday, after some freak storm damage that was blocking the driveway and street. The office was friendly and responsive, and in less than an hour we had a quote for the work and a crew on-site. The crew was thorough and professional, and safe, and took care of some larger dead branches while they were cleaning up the damage, leaving things better than before. We've also used New England Tree Masters for planned work, and will continue to do so in the future. read more

Very professional, responsible. Easy to communicate. I will recommend it to my friends.

Very professional, clean and done in time. Everyone knew their job. They arrived on time and the quote was by far the most affordable.

I woke up Monday morning to see 1 trunk of a twin trunk 100' pine had come down in the front yard of our house. Miraculously, no damage but it was huge and I made some phone calls to have the downed trunk removed and the remaining tree taken down (also 100' in height). Carlos came out in the afternoon and gave me an estimate (cheaper than my other quote) and said he'd have a team out the next morning. A crew was there at 10 am and done by early afternoon. Not only did they efficiently remove the downed trunk and take the down the standing one but they cleaned up so thoroughly that a casual observer would never have known a large tree had fallen two days earlier. Fast, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. I'm very pleased with the results. Richard C Littleton MA read more

Full disclosure: This is fourth or fifth time I've used New England Tree Masters for separate tree removals and stump grinding, and I've reviewed them before. Rest assured, this is an 'unpaid endorsement'. :-) There's a reason I'm a repeat customer and why you see so many of their signs posted in folks' yards in/around MetroWest Boston. These guys/gals are more than great! Why? Seamless and quick quoting...to job site clean-up and everything in between. They have the heavy duty equipment: ex., huge $ 1M+ articulated steering 8-wheel, 175'+ high cranes, log skidder, plus largest chipper machine I've ever seen....plus all the other apparatus goodies in between to do your job quickly, safely, cleanly. Work big or small all done for a reasonable/competitive price, to boot. Oh, and did I mention they not only remove "Any tree, any where....but ANYTIME" (it seems), too? When they did my job week before last, there was a couple inches of wet snow on the ground! Of course, in addition to all the serious equipment, their team is professional, courteous and efficient. 8 of them came out, most equipped with wireless headset radios to ensure proper/precise coordination. Hey, I'm a fussy homeowner! These guys even put large matt sheets down on my new yard so as to protect from huge divots/ruts on the ground when they lowered 48-inch + sectioned tree trunk onto the ground. Obviously, I continue to be totally impressed and satisfied with their work...and so will you. Serious. So don't hesitate to call them for any of their services! (Stow MA) read more

Quote was very competitive. I received texts and emails confirming appointment. The crew arrived on time, and worked very efficiently. I asked for a few minor accommodations, and they were very willing to do so. They were respectful of the property. The site was left squeaky clean. They returned a few days later to grind the stumps. The machine made quick work of the stumps! I'm very glad I didn't decide to do them myself. All the machines utilized tracks, which minimized lawn damage. I would definitely consider NE Tree Masters on future projects. read more

We have used New England Tree Masters three times. The third project involved removing three large diseased oak trees and cutting up another for firewood. I asked NETM for a quote on tree pruning and tree removal services in mid-October. Mr. Santos from NETM arrived on time and listened to what I wanted done. He gave me a price that was entirely reasonable considering the complexities of the work especially the tree removal. NETM performed the work on 11/2/22. The work was completed exactly as I had asked, within the time frame they stated and they left my yard clear of all tree-related debris. I was very satisfied with the cost, impressed by both their quality of work and total professionalism of NETM's personnel. I will definitely avail myself of their services again. read more

CJ came back to assess the damage and gave us a courtesy of finishing the job that was not finished at no extra charge. One thing he said was that I had to supervise the team at all times and that there was a "miscommunication," which made me livid, like I was not communicating or not supervising (!) a team of adults whom I am paying to do the job. The team came promptly in a couple of days and did a very solid work. They were cleaning and cutting the two leftover trees and yes, it took them an hour of time that they wasted the other day. I was there at all times this time doing yard cleanup work myself to "supervise" them. Oh, well... CJ even brought the new trash bin to replace the one that the crew crashed. Of course, there is no way to fix the oak that was cut bare of all but the top branches, but what they could, they addressed. I wanted to be fair and thus add this update to my earlier review. read more

I wanted to have a large (huge) white pine removed from my yard for years. It kept me awake at night during the winter and wind storms. CJ from New England Tree Masters came to my house for a quote. I knew the job would be difficult due to the tree location and my septic system on that side of the house. CJ seemed so confident with the company's ability to do the work. I needed the big crane110 ton with weights. I signed the quote and within a couple of weeks I was scheduled for the job. The main office was so accommodating and helpful. The best part was watching the guys do the removal. They are all so professional and precise, especially due to the size of the limbs. The yard was left clean. I can't recommend this company enough!!
