I really wanted to find a landscaping company that could 'do it all' - lawn, trees, landscaping, plowing, etc. And find someone who would listen to what I wanted, educate me more, and suggest ideas. Finding that all in one company is nearly impossible -- but I found it with Jose and J. Gudiel Landscape. Jose came out to see my house and discuss what I wanted. I was away when they first came to work but when I got home, even in the dark, I could tell they had been at the house and did a great job weeding, trimming trees and mowing. I am very happy with the quality of their work and attention to detail. I then asked Jose to help clean up an overgrown section of the property to prepare it for a playground. Jose made some suggestions and was able to start right away. His team worked long days in the heat and everyone was very nice. My kids and I liked watching the trucks and tractors and seeing the progress. We were very happy with the outcome. I am very happy with J. Gudiel Landscape and look forward to working with them year-round as they offer all the services I need to keep my property looking great. Jose, thanks again for the great work you and your team have done!! read more

I would highly recommend Jose for all the services he provides. Jose and his team did an absolutely amazing job on our brand new patio. We had a back porch that was rotting and falling apart and needed to be removed. We also had a hot tub that I thought would complicate things. But when Jose arrived to give us a quote he knew exactly what needed to be done and that's why we hired him. His team deconstructed our porch and made a beautiful patio along with two sets of steps. They also made a support wall to ensure that the steps stay in place. Throughout this whole project, Jose was easily approachable, communicative and friendly. We couldn't be happier with the final product. I will be hiring Jose again for future projects! read more

Our condo association in Natick would highly recommend Jose for all your landscaping needs. Jose and his team have been landscaping our property for the last 2 years. Their work is both exceptional and reasonably priced. We have J.Gudiel Landscaping cut and edge our grass, prune our bushes, lay down mulch in the spring, and do a fall clean-up. Our yard always looks neat and beautiful during the spring, summer and fall. Jose and his team are also available to help with other yard work. For instance they were able to fix several sections of our falling vinyl fence, and this is when we couldn't find a company to do the small job. Jose always keeps us informed, and quickly responds to any concerns you may have. And you can tell he takes great pride in his work. You won't be disappointed! read more

These guys just blocked my driveway with their truck and equipment so I couldn't get in or out of my house while they did an entire yard job nearby. They couldn't just park a few more yards up the street and there was nobody in the truck that I could ask to move it. Common respect for your surroundings would be nice. read more

I reached out to Jose for a new patio and granite stairs and it was completed in just four days and exactly what we wanted. High quality, quick and efficient work, and a very fair price. I would highly recommend! read more

Jose and his team installed this beautiful front walk of pavers lined with cobblestones, granite entry, and mailbox. Jose called me and set up an appointment within hours of reaching out on Yelp. He came by and walked the whole property, asking questions about the house to understand what kinds of things we like and why. He left us with a Uni-lock book so that we could see everything that was possible and not just pick from a few options (I feel like some contractors push you to higher margin items for them where you don't always get the best product). Jose made some really great suggestions to tie our design together, as you can see the gorgeous granite mailbox post that matches our giant 4'x5' solid landing. I was surprised at the level of detail to things that I had no idea were so important. The walkway is elevated for drainage, plus the yard is pitched away from the walkway so water never pools anywhere. We always get compliments on the front of our house and I know it's in part because of Jose and the fantastic work of his team. We've been lucky to have them back for other projects and I'll be posting reviews of that work as well. Jose is always honest and available by text and phone, and I know others will appreciate him and his work as much as I do. THANK YOU JOSE for all the amazing landscaping! read more

Top-notch from beginning to end. After multiple bids from other landscape companies, we ultimately decided to hire J. Gudiel's Landscape Inc. for our complete front walkway, breezeway walkway, and backyard landscape renovation. Jose worked within our budget and came up with fantastic ideas to implement during the process. He didn't conclude the project until we were satisfied and took care of any concerns we had. It was clear that customer satisfaction was a priority. Every time we contacted Jose, he would either pick up right away or call back immediately; he was always on top of getting back to us. The crew arrived each day on time and worked hard. It was great to see how dedicated the team was to our project. Working from home, we were excited to witness the level of progress and hard work throughout each day. We are extremely happy with our new walkways, patios, and fire pit! We highly recommend hiring J. Gudiel's Landscape Inc. for your walkway and patio needs. read more

I highly recommend Jose and his crew. We had them do a HUGE job. They ripped out our in ground pool which was surrounded by concrete and a fence, plus existing patio and retaining wall. Then they added a new stone retaining wall, stone steps, new paved walkway and patio, pea gravel area, transplanted tons of plants from around the yard and planted a bunch of new plants. Jose and his crew did an amazing job, were super quick, very respectful, good communicators, and reasonably priced. Jose brought my vision to life, offered great ideas and expertise, accommodated all my requests and adapted to my changing mind! I def recommend! read more

Jose and his crew were incredibly easy to get in touch with, prompt and gave an honest quote while working with us on our budget. Julio (and some of his family) worked tirelessly for 3-4 days to put in a 4 foot high, 60 foot long retaining wall that looks and feels amazing. Great drainage, perfectly flat top, and won't ever move. Highly recommend J. Gudiel Landscaping for any future projects. read more

Had a side garden that was installed before we moved in six years ago and it was out of control then, a straight wreck by now. Professional, responsive and reasonable. Father/son business. Great people to deal with. They aim to please. The Spring clean up was timely after we received the estimate. Honest as well! I asked for gutter cleaning, which they did last year, but he told me they looked good. Saved me $$ Thank you , see you next Spring! read more

I am very happy with the work that Jose and his company did in my yard. I hired him to trim/prune trees/shrubs, remove a tree, cut down lots of invasive vines, and remove remnants of a swing set wood perimeter. He was very professional (as were his crew), provided a quote on a Wednesday, starting the following Monday and finished in one day. The yard looks so much better! They even cleared my driveway which I was not expecting. I got several quotes before hiring him, and was surprised in general how much tree work costs (and how widely quoted prices varied). His price was competitive (I paid $3,000). I would recommend him to others. I suggest getting several quotes so that you are not surprised by the going rate for tree and landscaping work. read more

I have tried 3-4 different landscapers over the past 5 years, and before Jose, no one lasted longer than a season. He does great work, is extremely responsive, and follows through on what he says he will do. He is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. After suffering through years of unreliable, unprofessional landscaping services, I am very happy with J.Gudiel Landscaping and plan to stick with them for years to come. read more

Jose and his crew are truly exceptional with the services provided. We had lots of change over with previous companies and Jose was strongly suggested by friends in the area. The quote process was timely and accurate, and more importantly the lawn services thereafter been spot on. Great, friendly and accurate services. read more

We needed a retaining wall done and had no idea what to expect. We needed proper drainage because our yard was crumbling into our neighbors yards as well as our fairly new fence falling with the dirt. Jose came to look at our yard and soon was able to begin the job. It has been done beautifully and we are amazed at how wonderfully it's transformed our yard from a lumpy uneven plot to welcoming flat space we can enjoy. read more

I gave this company a 1 star rating because he did not return my phone calls. It turns out he had Covid so that is understandable. I cannot find my review to try to delete it, so I'm doing the best I can to rectify this ! read more

As a follow up, Jose's team came out and did the fall cleanup as we were told. They did an amazing job. Can't wait to be on their schedule next year. Talk to you in March! read more

Gudiel did a great job on our lawn with a spring clean up. However we would love it if they would offer mowing as needed not on a weekly or biweekly basis. Definitely a great landscaper! read more

Jose helped us choose the right tree for some privacy landscaping in our backyard. Him and his team were quick and did a great job. Jose even stopped by several times after the work had been done just to check on the trees and make sure they were doing well, specially because the planted them a little bit into summer and it was so hot. So please with the customer service. Will hire again for all future landscaping jobs. read more

Jose and his team are excellent! I asked for a spring cleanup and for some grass seeding on an area of my lawn. He worked with me on what we could afford and scheduled us in right away. When the rain pushed back his job schedule, he and his team were incredible and worked late to come get our job done. The quality was as if we were the only job of the day - they went above and beyond and took care of some areas that I hadn't even discussed with Jose prior. I cannot recommend Jose highly enough! read more

Nope. Had a good quote given on Friday, for work to begin at 8am Saturday. Never showed, then called, truck problem (OK, everyone gets those once in a while). Asked to re-schedule next Saturday at 8am so I'd be first customer serviced, we agreed to time. Then calls back Thursday and says he can only come Saturday at 4-5 pm, or Sunday at 8am. No sir, 'fool me once...don't fool me twice!) read more

I reached out to Jose after reading the positive reviews here on yelp and on google. We had a number of projects in mind and Jose was able to come out the very next day to do a walk around and provide estimates. The estimates were emailed to me within 48 hours and were reasonably priced (other providers I had engaged took weeks just to send estimates!!). We decided to only go forward with a small fraction of the projects and Jose didn't push us at all to do more - he was happy to take on the work. He was able to complete the job within a week during peak season and his team went above and beyond our expectations. Jose is friendly, reasonably priced and most importantly reliable- he does what he says and does it with quality and punctuality. Looking forward to using him for future projects! read more
