In hindsight, it was shady that he would text and not just return our call. Anyway, he texts saying he'd be at her house the next day for a quote. I drove to her house to meet the guy to explain what was needed in the yard and he no-showed but then sent a text with how much it was going to be later that night (red flag #2.) Stupidly, I said we would give his services a try and then... no show. 2 weeks went by and nothing. Multiple unanswered texts later, we were not going to chase them any more and moved on to San Marino and they showed up when they said they would and my aunt is happy with their work. PS: Beware of this company's five star reviews from users in Texas! Peter C. is more in line with what we experienced.

The Curtis Family and Curtis Farm Tractor & Tree are truly a great local family business. Over the years I've had various work done by Curtis Farm, work ranging from taking down a HUGE blue spruce, landscaping work, yard and tree clearing, etc. The work was always done in an impeccable fashion, on time, and at a competitive price. Jared Curtis is my go to man for such work, and the first name I recommend when someone asks for a referral. His work ethic is unreal! They do it all. Need a tree removed? Done. Need your lawn Hydroseeded? Done. Need a stone retaining wall? Done. The list goes on and on. Honestly the few negative reviews caught me by surprise and definitely do no paint the full picture. honestly have no doubt that anything like that was not intentional and if Jared was aware he would have rectified any concerns immediately and in a professional manner. So if you want quality Tree or landscaping work done by honest local professionals give Curtis Farm a call!

A large crew of approximately 10 was "landscaping" the terrain bordering this lot. I knew they were working when I went in for a coffee. I parked facing the rear wall next to a dumpster (in a designated space.) The crew saw me ride in and park. Their blowers could have easily directed the mulch in another direction away from my bike. (They could have advised me to park someplace else, too. I would have.) When I brushed the mulch off my bike I looked up to see a crew member laughing at me. I looked around at the rest of the crew; heads down, working. I confirmed the identity of the landscaping company on the side of the truck into which debris was being loaded. (Some of that debris was under my rear wheel when I returned.) I looked at the cars in the lot when I exited and didn't see any mulch on them or debris under their wheels. Disappointing.
