Very impressive little store full of tons of stuff! Groceries, pantry staples, a small produce section, some premade deli food and cookies. I was looking for the bakery items. A previous review mentioned delicious homemade pastries. Finally as I choose a cookie and a salad for later I see them. A small pedestal plate with pastries. And on the countertop behind the register tons of croissants! I said, there they are! The two ladies working were not impressed. I asked for the flavors and the lady said, there is a menu right there. Ugh, not fully awake I realized a line had formed behind me. This is the spot to go before getting in a ferry. Exit and there is plenty of covered and uncovered outdoor seating while you wait for your order, which is called out at the counter window. We just dealt with a 17 hour commute from east coast to the west coast, slept barely, was up and out the door at 6 am to catch our ferry to Friday Harbor, only for it to be canceled and delayed until 740 pm. At this point I just wanted coffee. Nobody was opened except these people. I had a mocha latte and a blueberry scone which was the BEST scone that I've ever tasted before. They offer up a good variety and if you can't make up your mind opt for the 7-flavor ice cream flight. I choose a to dabble in a shrub float. New item for me. Shrub is a sweetened fruit infused vinegar. For the float they use the shrub (from local vendor Girl Meets Dirt), seltzer water, and your choice of ice cream. I definitely could see this being a summer drink. Has a bit of a bite from the vinegar (I'd advise to make sure it's all fully incorporated or you'll end up with a straight shot of the shrub).

I genuinely felt so happy the moment I stepped inside this store. It's just such a beautiful space that feels cozy and inviting. After walking around a bit I went to order a coffee. And I honestly don't think I've ever met nicer baristas in my life! They were all so sweet and kind and helpful! I tried out the fig leaf latte and the autumn tea latte and both were spectacular!
