Super cute local ice cream shop in town. Local hand made ice cream and sorbets from Lopez Island Creamery. They offer up a good variety and if you can't make up your mind opt for the 7-flavor ice cream flight. I choose a to dabble in a shrub float. New item for me. Shrub is a sweetened fruit infused vinegar. For the float they use the shrub (from local vendor Girl Meets Dirt), seltzer water, and your choice of ice cream. I definitely could see this being a summer drink. Has a bit of a bite from the vinegar (I'd advise to make sure it's all fully incorporated or you'll end up with a straight shot of the shrub).

Absolutely no bad notes here. The ice cream flavors were so good! I sampled the matcha almond and earl gray and my partner sampled POG and coffee cookies. All were HITS. I ended up ordering a scoop of the matcha almond which definitely had more almond flavor than matcha, but the matcha came through towards the end of the tasting. The person working there was doing their thing! It was just them yet they were calm, cool, collected despite having a line out the door. The vibes were chill with both indoor and outdoor seating options.

Hands down the best waffle cone I've had anywhere. It was light, thin and crispy. Not too sweet, perfectly cooked and delicious. The ice cream here is beyond creamy. It's complex and delicious with a "chew" to it that i just can't explain. On my visit I had pistachio and ginger and the flavor profiles of both were simple, humble and yet very flavorful. The nuance of getting that perfect combination of creamy and flavor can't be easy but here they make it seem like child's play. The staff is very friendly. Signs up to let you know a double scoop is actually four scoops (nice for tourists to know ahead of time). And they will let you get all different flavors for each scoop too. And for a double scoop (4 scoops) it's less than $10 if I recall correctly. I couldn't believe it. The small ice cream shop is cute and inviting with great people. Don't miss out when you're in the area!

Got the cookies and cream and coffee ice cream and it was yummy! Took a minute to get but still good

Best ice cream in the WORLD. The workers are always so friendly and never stingy on the scoops!! Such a nice ambiance and the whole place is just so cute. LOVE IT.

Extra points for having a good handful of dairy free options, and even more extra points for using compostable spoons. After dinner we wanted to get something for dessert. We took advantage of one of the sunnier weekends in Orcas Island to get some ice cream. I ordered a half scoop of the POG (Passion Orange Guava) sorbet ($4.25). They have a lot of unique flavors and you're welcome to try out as many of them as you would like. The half scoop is already plenty for me so I'm glad I went with that size. The sorbet felt creamy, even though it didn't have any milk in it. The compostable spoons were also very cute, and it's great that they're very conscious about these things. They have a few window seats to eat your ice cream as well as a couple chairs in the back. Otherwise, there's also some seating outside to enjoy the sun.

This place is an absolute delight for an ice cream shop! Located just off the main road in town (and right down from Brown Bear Bakery), it's an easy walk from anywhere nearby. They've got about 20 total flavors counting sorbets and non-dairy options. Plenty of interesting and fun flavors as well as favorites. The 7 scoop flight option is lovely and gives you a chance to sample anything that looks good. The highlights for us however were the affogato (get it with chocolate almond chunk) and the shrub float using syrup from Girls meets dirt - we shared a lemon lavender and it was brilliant! Prices are spending, but for the quality, it was worth it! We'll be back at least 2 more times as we're here 2 more days!

I usually prefer my ice cream very chunky and full of toppings but the flavor of this ice cream even tho it's not full of texture was more than I expected. Creamy, peanut buttery, chocolate, rich. Very good and I'm not even usually an ice cream person.

We stumbled across crèmecart at the Saturday Farmers' Market on Orcas Island. The two ladies who run the crèmecart, Michelle and Sommer, sound like they are regulars at the Saturday Farmers' Market, and other island locations as well. They rotate many cool ice cream flavors and cookie combinations. Their crèmecart Facebook page listed many enticing flavors, including: butter cookie and strawberry cheesecake ice cream; dark chocolate cookie and ginger ice cream; chocolate cookie with: salted caramel ice cream or coconut ice cream or chocolate ice cream; lemon cookie with: lavender ice cream or vanilla ice cream; gluten free almond cookie with vanilla or chocolate ice cream; and on July 4th, Apple Pie Ice Cream Sandies. How fun is that? So, like any food cart, crèmecart is seasonal, and moves around following the crowds. Thankfully, Orcas is a small island, and I promise you, they are worth searching for! Five Stars.

By the time I got there, lots of the ice cream sandwiches were sold out. All of the sandwiches are prewrapped and kept cold in the cart, so once they're gone... They're really gone. The cookie was nice and soft, but firm enough to stay together. The ice cream kept cold and didn't drip all over me. I was such a happy camper with my ice cream sandwich. I sure hope I run into this cart again!!

The massive wooden furniture is impressive and surprisingly comfortable. This place has been loving restored and cared for. It was an absolute pleasure to be here and to sit on the veranda. The food was very average, although the Mansion Burger sounded amazing--maybe we just ordered wrong. The scallop/ halibut cake stole the show. I should have ordered two of those, along with the extraordinary Cole slaw ( best ever Coke slaw, imho). Sadly, we didn't stop at the scallibut cake, and the rest was disappointing; wedge salad, drowning in a watery blue cheese dressing, and overcooked lobster ravioli, served with four beautifully prepared scallops. I would return, but I'd order differently--just appetizers and skipping everything else. Drinks and scallibut cakes would make for a 4-5 star meal. The service, by the way, was just okay. She hadn't tried much of the menu, so she wasn't able to describe the dishes very well. She was great about checking on us and warning that the kitchen was slow (it was slow, but we loved taking our time and watching the sun set over the bay). Nothing was awful--what we ordered averaged out to be just ok.
