There's certainly some humor of "but it's not in Illinois". But that's not why we come here. That's not why it gets real in the whole foods parking lot. Anyway, this a great location, everyone is helpful, and notably there is (of course as matters to me) a decent salad bar and a good amount of vegan options. Otherwise, I would not be coming. One thing of note though that I have needed many times is caffeine. They have a cold brew concentrate that uses a teaspoon or so for a cup of coffee! So read those words carefully: concentrate. That means, don't drink that whole bottle or you'll die, yo. That would be like a Futurama fry 100 cups of coffee moment. Or a Panera lemonade moment. There are some fun food options not at whole foods but in this area, and the pizza place nearby is also pretty epic. But you can't go wrong with whole foods, generally.

I only come here when I need things that my first choice grocery stores don't have. The ambience here is nicely organized. The service of this location is not good ever. They are very mean here from Amazon to the regular Whole Foods workers everyone has an attitude. Very rare you will have a worker that is willing to help you at this location.

I have had to bring meat, produce and there already cooked rice back numerous times. Things happen‍ But this time by far was the worst time. Again, I purchased rice that was already cooked, Had to return it due to mold. I'm sure a lot of you were going to wonder how I didn't notice it right away. I was in a huge rush and I was just grabbing a couple things quickly. Once I got home and realized the rice had mold on it I immediately called the store. I spoke with a woman that was very understanding and told me to bring it back and she would give me a refund AS WELL AS get a new rice. I explained that I wouldn't be able to come back until the next day. She said that was fine. The next day comes, I return to the store to bring back the rice. The lady at the counter tells me I could pick out a new rice OR I may have my money back. I inform her with the lady on the phone said yesterday. She then told me that since I don't have a receipt that is not possible. When I say this lady was rude, I mean, she was unprofessional, illtempered, annoyed with my presence and rolled her eyes while raising her voice at me. I then told her never mind. Give me the rice back. As I started to walk away because I was not going to be treated like that I thought to myself no I'm gonna speak with her supervisor first due to her behavior. I asked for her supervisor and she laughed, Then yelled in Spanish to the side room. A woman comes out, and I explained to her what happened with the rice. She then informs me of the same thing that the previous lady told me. I explained to her what the woman on the phone said the day prior. She tells me that she didn't work yesterday And without me having a receipt, that's all she could do for me. I then call my boyfriend at home and have him send me a copy of the receipt. I showed her the receipt and she says she still can't do both. I said then what was the point of getting you the receipt? And she said to make sure you were telling the truth about when you bought it because I can't believe that this is our rice. !!!!!!!! Now I'm pissed. Not only are you Now calling me a liar, I had to drive 45 minutes out of my way just to bring back some moldy rice, be talked down to, laughed at and find out I was lied to you about your policy. But I'm the liar right? I asked for my money back then paid for my new items(bc I'm not petty)and left the store. I cannot believe the way they treat their customers. Especially their regular customers like us. For being a small business They really need to rethink how they talk to people and handle customer service issues. I wish I could give zero stars! Lucrezia has just opened the newest addition to their amazing business, Good to Go by Lucrezia…read more It's located just north of their restaurant on Calumet Ave, and parking is located behind the building in the parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. Good to Go is a small deli and tasting emporium that has a good selection of Boar's Head deli meats, cheeses, and a plethora of different olive oils. They also have pre-prepared offerings from their restaurant and wine too. They make prepackaged lunches daily with different gourmet sandwiches on fantastic breads with their boars head meats. In the boxed lunches is a sandwich (I've had a few of their offerings so far - Pastrami with red onions, Honey turkey with apples and pear vinaigrette), a small portion of pasta salad, and a desert. The sandwiches are great, the pasta salad is fresh and delicious, and the deserts are excellent. I came here for the grand opening after I had their lunches and got to sample a lot of their different offerings and wine. They had a balsamic vinaigrette with dark chocolate in it that was to die for. I sampled a lot of their wines as well and wound up buying 4 bottles! I'd really recommend this place everyone, you have to try something they have to offer. They'll let you sample all of the deli meats, cheeses, olive oils, anything. I can't wait to get home so I can pick up some boars head meat for sandwiches at home.
