He pointed us to heat n glo. We went home with the brochure. We saw the foundations fireplace and liked how big it was. The website and brochure indicated heat n glo had rerouting venting which we thought was cool. We ordered the fireplace and finally got it installed (which was a horrible experience because Mark has super unprofessional installation contacts). Once it was installed we tried to figure out where the heat came from and asked Mark who couldn't seem to figure out based on the manual. All he could say was it was a cold-touch fireplace. After 3-4 phone calls to heat n glo we found out this fireplace is aesthetics only!!!!! Mark sold us a fireplace that doesn't heat without telling us it doesn't heat. He claims he told us. He lied through his teeth. He would do anything to save his skin. He doesn't know his products and will screw your in the end. It's a tragedy people like him own businesses. We are out thousands of dollars because of him. Avoid this shop at all cost.

Mark was great. The product was as advertised. The pickup at the will-call location was perfect (I could have had it shipped to house driveway but this was cheaper), and I even managed to get the 480lbs beast in the house by myself (it's so dang heavy you have to use your head instead of your brawn). Best price I could find anywhere. If you know what you are looking for I would not hesitate to do business with Mark. The purchase could not have gone smoother. His "restocking" and cancellation fees are high - so don't dink around with 480lb stoves until you know what you want....

I'm even happier with our choices today than when we first installed them. Kiersten at Chown Hardware in Bellevue was incredibly patient throughout the selection process. She knows the products, listened to what we wanted, and never pushed us toward the most expensive option. Instead, she recommended thoughtful upgrades only when they truly made sense for our project, and every one of those recommendations has proven to be worth it. You also can't know everything about every single item available. If there was something she needed to do deeper divan, she would let us know and do that we could really trust her. The showroom has an excellent selection, but it's the knowledgeable, honest guidance that really sets Chown apart. Months later, everything is working beautifully, looks fantastic, and we're so glad we trusted Kiersten's expertise. Great products. Great service. Great long-term results. Kiersten is a superstar!

I had to bring it in a 2nd time because it looked like nothing was done the first time. 2nd time looked a bit better but did not use it right away, had the chainsaw serviced elsewhere (clean carb/sparkplug, etc) and they had to further de-bur the chain to get it running cleanly through the bar. We only purchase specific product and only when not in stock at our everyday vendor, so we're not a big customer or anything.. Our ordering department created a purchase order that clearly states to ship all orders as complete. The company called us and stated that one of the items we ordered was back ordered. We told them no problem, and to ship what they had in stock. A couple of days later we received 2 boxes. In one of the boxes was the bulk of the order we placed less (5) bags of the item that was supposedly back-ordered. In the other box was (2) packs out of the (5) that were supposed to be back-ordered and a separate invoice for both packages. The main package has a freight charge of $13.80 added since we did not meet the minimum requirement for free freight, so no issues there. The issue is with box #2 which had the (2) item packs which totaled $5.00, and which were supposed to be back-ordered for (5) item packs, and with a freight charge of $11.49.. We contacted there customer service dept. and let them know we felt they had made an error and we wanted to speak with someone who could help us resolve it. They transferred us off to the owner MARC SNYDER, so I told him what happened. Mark said he did not see any issues with this. I went over the facts and that our PO specifically states to ship complete, and that it made no sense that we received the 2nd box with only 2 packs of the item. Then asked him if they were back ordered why he only sent the 2 bags vs. 5 bags and he stated that was how may came in. That's when I got upset, and stated are you telling me that you guys had only 2 bags of this product on back order from the factory? He stated must have been.. I say, so you expect me to believe that your wholesale company decided to purchase only 2 small packs for your inventory of this very common item? He said I guess so.. I said Mark, this makes no sense. It sounds like your people made an error and just shipped them out and that the invoice in box said that we still had (3) packs on back order. I said Mark, does it make sense that your people would send us (2) packs of product @ $2.50ea, for a total of $5.00 and a $11.49 fright charge? He thought it did. I stated I did not feel comfortable paying an $11.49 charge for a 5.00 item and that if anything why didn't they simply put these 2 small items into an envelope and put in the mail or something? In the heat I also said that I would not be paying this freight charge since we did not approve it. He told me, that we don't even purchase that much from them, and that if we didn't pay the freight that he would move our account to COD. He had no interest is making this right and or taking responsibility for his people actions. What poor customer service this guy has.. Granted we are not a regular customer and do very little business with these guys, but it really shouldn't matter. We still spent over $130.00 and we are still a customer. Mark I hope you know that as the owner of the business that your customer service and ability to resolve issues leaves something to be desired.. I just hope the rest of your team is not trained by you in customer service, and you should definitely not be in charge of customer resolution. Mark, As you and know given our payment history with your company over the years, we always pay our bills, and this is no exception. We will pay these 2 invoices in full, including the absorbent freight charge on package 2, that we did not approve. Folks, there is so many options when purchasing product, why use people who don't have both parties interest in mind. A good partnership is always win / win.
