Hard to be always attentive with that kind of stress. With my latest tractor purchase I was mightily impressed with the staff going thru hoops for me to have the best service! Zack made sure my own implements were made compatible with the new quick hitch. That was a HUGE help to me and he was under no obligation to do so. Update after living with our selections for several months…read more.. I wanted to come back and update my review now that we've been using everything for a while. I'm even happier with our choices today than when we first installed them. Kiersten at Chown Hardware in Bellevue was incredibly patient throughout the selection process. She knows the products, listened to what we wanted, and never pushed us toward the most expensive option. Instead, she recommended thoughtful upgrades only when they truly made sense for our project, and every one of those recommendations has proven to be worth it. You also can't know everything about every single item available. If there was something she needed to do deeper divan, she would let us know and do that we could really trust her. The showroom has an excellent selection, but it's the knowledgeable, honest guidance that really sets Chown apart. Months later, everything is working beautifully, looks fantastic, and we're so glad we trusted Kiersten's expertise. Great products. Great service. Great long-term results. Kiersten is a superstar!

Thank you, Sanja, for your excellent customer service and for making what could have been a frustrating experience so easy!

We've been customers for maybe 25 years. We've bought and serviced a gas fireplace and several grills over the years. We ordered a new grill - great experience. Then things went downhill. Rich's no longer does its own delivery. They depend on a vendor to do the delivery, followed by a Rich's person to come up and hook it up. We scheduled the delivery for Friday. The Wednesday BEFORE the delivery the Rich's person came to do the install. He said no problem, the delivery people would do the install. Seriously? A gas grill? Friday rolls around and the grill was delivered. The delivery people didn't know how to turn the grill on to verify it was working. It wouldn't turn on. They then closed the grill lid and turned on the gas and continued to try and turn the grill on. This is dangerous. I stopped that action immediately. It took Rich's a couple of weeks to get another service person over to check the grill and verify it was installed correctly to our gas line, and make sure it was working correctly. BTW - it took 2 emails and a call to the salesperson to get the service department to respond to do the scheduling. They don't answer the phone or return calls anymore. All done with email. Sales - 5 stars. Service scheduler - 1 star. PS Great grill.

Michelle was invaluable and could give honest comparisons between different models and brands. The combination of cast stainless grills, sear temperature infrared side burner, rotisserie and smoker versatility, and convenient drip trays convinced me. They shipped me a pre-installed unit with a natural gas fitting within one week, and the local carrier could haul away the old grill for a small additional fee. I had two minor issues upon delivery, the cabinet was missing two side screws and the natural gas coupler did not fit our NG outdoor fitting. Michelle took care of everything and quickly arranged for one of their installers to return a few days later to install the correct cabinet screws and also able to install a reducer on our NG outlet to fit the NG coupler. The grill exceeds expectations, and I appreciate Michelle's personal attention and professional service. I highly recommend Rich's for the Home for any outdoor grill needs.

It leaked on its very FIRST USE (installed at 5 PM, leaked at 7 PM), causing over $34,000 in water damage to my floors, walls, and subfloor. I immediately sent video evidence, photos, and made multiple calls. After receiving the video, the owner stopped responding completely--no returned calls, no follow-up. To this day, I have received NO REFUND, NO APOLOGY, NO COMPENSATION. All evidence has been preserved, and I've retained legal counsel. This company DISAPPEARS when something goes wrong. They miss appointments without notice, break promises, and refuse to take responsibility. Avoid this business at all cost. I strongly caution others against doing business with this company. When something goes wrong, they disappear, break promises, and avoid accountability. This is not how responsible businesses operate.
