Great selection of all kinds of trees. The prices were good, not too outrageous. Only downside is you can't take your dogs.

One of the only weekday tree farms in the area. Amazing trees. Beautiful surroundings.

This is my favorite tree farm in the area! The views are fantastic with mountains backing up the trees. The staff are all very friendly and helpful - we actually ended up calling on Saturday morning after Thanksgiving to see if anyone had canceled appointments and were lucky enough to get one last minute. However, we were told to start checking the website around late September/early October next year. There are several tree species options with PLENTY of trees small enough for an apartment. This is what I have struggled to find in past years at other farms. They also offer wreathes and other decor. The pricing is fair and they have free twine and a $5 bailing service which makes the whole experience flawless. We had a wonderful time scoping out our tree with a cup of the free hot cider! We will definitely be back!

This is the perfect place for Christmas trees and other holiday goodies. For anyone who is looking for a streamlined review, here are the main takeaways: -amazing costumer service -very reasonable prices -variety of healthy and beautiful trees -bailing service -gifts and handmade wreaths -free parking, easy/close drive to most areas -easily accessible to those with physical disabilities, elderly individuals, and children Now for the long review. Our family has been going here for 20 years now and we have never been let down. This is a family run business and everyone is so kind and helpful. There are so many different varieties and sizes of tree to choose from so you can pick out the one that fits best in your home. They provide a map and hand saws for free and tag every tree that is open to cutting with the variety, height, and price making it super easy to find what you're looking for. They offer bailing services and are more than happy to assist you in putting the tree on your car or tying it down if you are inexperienced or just need some assistance. They always have hot drinks for free and the cutest gift shop for genuine holiday goodies. They make wreaths that are just gorgeous and we get one every year and are constantly impressed. The staff are always willing to assist in any way they can if you have any questions or need help, otherwise it's a relaxing experience to roam around the farm and pick out the best tree on your own. Pets are welcome but they do have dogs so I believe they want you to keep them in the car but it's still nice to have your dog there with you for the ride. Children are always welcome and the largest part of the farm is easily accessible to families with younger children or elderly members. We will continue to go here every year. I would recommend going earlier in the season, otherwise it gets hard to find the perfect Christmas tree but they still have a good amount of trees later in the season as well.

Cedar Falls Tree Farm is a really beautiful bit of preserved nature that keeps the gorgeous natural setting while also running a family business. There's a nice spot for parking and you are greeted and the process explained to you upon arrival. There was a roaring fire just off from the greeting area where you could enjoy hot chocolate or cider and warm up after trekking through the property. The trees are randomly planted throughout the property with lots of variety in type and size. The tags on the limbs let you know if they are available. We were pretty surprised at some of the massive trees available for purchase...as in how does one even transfer one of these beasts let alone get them in your living room?? But I digress. We also really enjoyed the trails and just walking around the beautiful property. Such a nice change from having all the trees just planted in a line or just picking one up at the local grocery store. So many tree farms have been going out of business and selling to housing development companies so I loved seeing this beautiful business protecting so much natural habitat. Prices were ridiculously affordable for the size and beauty of these natural grown trees. They also wrapped the tree to make it easy to attach to the top of our car. It was a really magical experience that we highly recommend.

We are trying to get as much in the ground as possible before spring, taking advantage of Mother Nature's free watering in season. My wife and I have visited many nurseries, from Pierce County to Snohomish County, and we've been fortunate to have met many wonderful and knowledgable people at each one. Hobart Farms is our latest destination and our experience with them has been beyond five stars. Jessica, Domenic and Lilly have helped us so far - advising us about alternatives for bare spaces, recommendations on how to arrange new plants in a new garden, planting, feeding and lots of encouragement! We are hopefully close to done purchasing what we need to plant this season, but we are looking forward to our spring visits to Hobart Farms for more perennial fillers and annuals to fill our pots and other small spaces. If only they could help us hypnotize the squirrels to stay away from our tulip bulbs - well, that would be a six star review. Their indoor insulated greenhouse has an abundance of indoor house plants. We are not purchasing for indoors, but the selection they have is amazing! Watch for their Christmas festivities - Santa will be there! Added bonus: After Hobart, we like to treat ourselves to an amazing personal pizza at Cascadia Pizza, at the intersection of the Maple Valley Highway and 216th. Since Jessica at the nursery gave it a double thumbs up, we had to give it a go. Great people/great pizza with the river out back.

It's well laid out and full of so many great ideas. The advice I have received is invaluable and their classes are always extremely helpful. As you can tell, I'm a bit of a novice gardener but Jessica never made me feel dumb and answers all my questions without a hint of annoyance. She simply wants you to be successful. I buy all my seeds and starts here and they've done really well thus far. I just can't say enough good things about this nursery. Pay Jessica a visit, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Aside from the service (more on that below), I find they usually have a decent stock of a variety of plants and they're usually pretty healthy, if a bit pricey compared to big box retailers. I do still prefer to shop here because it feels better than spending at a big box store but it also didn't take much research to discover Pacific Topsoils is owned by GRO-Well Brands, which is itself a conglomerate and by no means a local or small business, which I've seen some reviews assume. Service wise, it all depends on who you talk to and what mood they're in. Recently, I called to check on a product and the young man who answered brusquely said they didn't have it, so I caved and ordered it from Amazon. Then, I went to pick up some plants and discovered they had what I'd called about. I told the older gentleman who was ringing me up about the exchange and he somewhat rudely just said, "well, we always have that in stock," like I should've known, not the other employee who should've known. On the other hand, he did put out a call for someone to help me with the several bags of soil I ordered and a friendly young gal answered. She had clearly been working hard all morning but she wa so helpful and asked if there was anything else she could help me with before she left to assist another customer she noticed. If all the employees had her friendliness and pep, this place would get 5 stars, easy.
