    King Crab Legs (1 Lb)

We stopped here late in the day in the middle of a storm. It wasn't busy, just a few tables occupied other than ours. Pretty quiet. Food was as expected. Drinks were rough to get through. Bartender was pouring extra strong.

First they tried to say the order wasn't there(IT WAS they just didn't turn on their tablets) then The girls who handle the ordering & pick up dont even know the restaurants correct prices. I was told my create your own combo came with 1/2 a lb when on there website & doordash it clearly states 1 full lb of each. I refuse to be overcharged for their incompetence. Ive been ordering & eating here for 3 years! I get the same thing EVERYTIME. Please train your employees better!

Okay so it's taken me a minute to write this review. I will say that this place has been on my mind everyday since I tasted their food back in March!? The food is fresh and seafood is cooked perfectly. We had shrimp, fried fish, crab cake and some cole slaw. Everything was seasoned and packaged up well. I haven't visited since this whole pandemic started but it's one of my favorite spots in the area for the quality and what you get for the price.

    Ordering. Bradley's 20th Birthday!!!

The waitress was spot on and so was the food. We had a blast, the kids enjoyed writing their names on the wall and the music was perfect.

If you want overpriced gimmicky food this is the place for you. I went to the grand opening. I was looking forward to it. The positive was our waitress. She had a great attitude and she really likes the food but really could provide no assistance in how to navigate the menu. The prices aren't very clear you have to consult the chalkboards located throughout the restaurant to figure out how much something is going to cost. Here is the part I loved if you want to make your own combo you take the whole price and divide it in half to get the total cost. I don't know about you but I prefer to not have to do math when I go out to eat. You get a piece of complimentary bread that contains traces of seafood and very little flavor. It smells great and is covered in cheese but there really was no flavor. Clam chowder came and it looked beige which was very off putting. The bowl of soup was not full, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't worth half of what they were charging. The crabcakes were done in a fryer not sautéed in a skillet. They were left down too long. The hush puppies that came with them were very odd. Brown on the outside and white on the inside and the consistency was as if someone took and made white grits and got them so they were like a brick and then put a coating on them and fried them. Very strange and not very good. Sauces come with the apps but nobody told us what they were. Good concept just needs a lot of work. The gator bites were ok. The batter they were done in was not bad at all. We were going to get a boil but we wanted to see how the appetizers went. None of them were great so we passed on getting any more food. This was the grand opening and the floor didn't look like it had been mopped after it was installed. We left are credit card and the waitress did come out in the rain to give it to us which was wonderful but not enough to make up for the food.

We love going to Storming Crab when we're in the mood for seafood! Best crab legs in our area, and the friend gator bites were fantastic! We can't wait to go back!

Saw this and also read the mixed reviews. So let me throw it out like this... we were seated promptly on a Friday evening. Our server Sonni was fantastic and started us off with seafood bread and cold beers. Hubby and I opted for an appetizer of clam strips and then we split the number 4 dinner combo with the old bay garlic butter/medium heat. And that dinner combo was HUGE (snow crab legs, crawfish, sausage, potato, corn, shrimp)!! We also added a side of hush puppies also very tasty . We put our best foot forward and we still couldn't put a dent in the massive amount of delicious food! We will def be back if we are ever in the area again! Yummy!!

Joe O., thanks for your judgemental answer prick! If you don't have an actual answer for somebody just keep it to yourself! There are restaurants that are allergy conscious! Is this what you do with your free time?

Why would you take a child allergic to shellfish to a restaurant that serves seafood?

My boyfriend and I weren't really into the King Cajun Seafood Special Sauce. I usually go for house special sauces since they're usually good, but this one just didn't hit the spot. We ordered the hot spice level, but it wasn't spicy at all, and the sauce had this creamy taste--maybe they added flour or cornstarch to thicken it? I prefer my seafood boil sauce to be zesty and spicy. We ended up ordering a side of Cajun garlic butter sauce instead, and that was way better in my opinion. I also wish I had asked for a side of lemon slices (my bad), it would've made the flavors pop more with some extra zest and tang. One thing I really liked about the restaurant was that their seafood sizes were enormous! The shrimp and crawfish were jumbo-sized, and the Dungeness crab was packed with meat. Oh, and a heads up, when we ordered extra corn, we thought it would be three cut pieces, but I think it was actually three whole corn cut into thirds. So yeah, no need to order extra corn unless you really love it. We ended up leaving with a whole bag of corn. I guess that will be my lunch and dinner for tomorrow.

When we got to the counter to order, the two ladies there both greeted us, although one was taking someone else's order. When my mom and I said we were gluten free, she had every answer we needed. Sauces, putting hush puppies on the side, no bread. Excellent job! We would have sat outside, but all of those tables were filled. We did get a table inside for the four of us. Packed inside too. They brought our food out to us when it was ready. With it being packed for Father's Day, 20-25 minutes wasn't that bad. The two sandwich eaters devoured their sandwiches and sides. The two meat platter had just the right amount of proteins and sides. Pulled pork is often my go to, but the brisket was divine on Sunday! I didn't know there were at least four kinds of beans available in the side but yum! The Green beans were solid, cooked in/with butter. Upon finishing our delicious lunch we went across the parking lot to the creamery. They had vegan options so I got one vanilla and one chocolate. The cookies and cream wasn't gluten free so I am unable to comment on that vegan option. Very smooth. An awesome finish to an excellent Father's Day lunch. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great food. One of my favorite barbecue spots!
