Took my daughter here because she loves seafood. It's pricey, but amazing. The boil we chose was king crab legs with scallops, sausage, corn, and red potatoes. The price came to about $97. It weave a mountain of crab from it though.. so well worth the price tag. We chose the butter garlic old bay sauce, it's a winner for sure. The service was so friendly and on point, our waitress was a delight. The vibe of the place is interesting, there is graffiti all over every available service, which is cute in the dining room where it's kept clean.. but the bathrooms are atrocious! Just beware.. there is a film of filth at the handle that locks the stall.. and visible grime on the stall walls. Just yuck. read more

Food is not as good as it used to be. Staff was slow and unable to do anything but play on their phones. The restaurant needed deep cleaning. Okay so it's taken me a minute to write this review. I will say that this place has been on my mind everyday since I tasted their food back in March!? The food is fresh and seafood is cooked perfectly. We had shrimp, fried fish, crab cake and some cole slaw. Everything was seasoned and packaged up well. My daughter and her friends went there last night for her 18th birthday. They left the restaurant and an hour later, one of the young girls received an Instagram message from an employee named Sarah C., accusing her of vandalizing the restaurant. She found this young girl's name from her receipt then attacked her on Instagram. The kids immediately went back there to question what she was talking about. Long story short, 8 kids total (3 of them black). This Sarah C. falsely accused the 3 black girls of throwing toilet paper and food in the bathroom, then lied and said they had video of the girls "smiling" after leaving the bathroom. Boardman police came, listened to this nonsense and then left after basically saying the restaurant was goofy for even calling for this (Video showed them go into the bathroom, left out shortly after). My issue: you racially profiled these kids for whatever reason, you attacked a child on behalf of the restaurant on HER Instagram page and once the restaurant is called out on this for being BS, the manager did not even apologize to any of those kids for THEIR employee falsely accusing them. This is unacceptable and I won't ever eat at this establishment again. read more

If you want overpriced gimmicky food this is the place for you. I went to the grand opening. I was looking forward to it. The positive was our waitress. She had a great attitude and she really likes the food but really could provide no assistance in how to navigate the menu. The prices aren't very clear you have to consult the chalkboards located throughout the restaurant to figure out how much something is going to cost. Here is the part I loved if you want to make your own combo you take the whole price and divide it in half to get the total cost. I don't know about you but I prefer to not have to do math when I go out to eat. You get a piece of complimentary bread that contains traces of seafood and very little flavor. It smells great and is covered in cheese but there really was no flavor. Clam chowder came and it looked beige which was very off putting. The bowl of soup was not full, it wasn't terrible but it wasn't worth half of what they were charging. The crabcakes were done in a fryer not sautéed in a skillet. They were left down too long. The hush puppies that came with them were very odd. Brown on the outside and white on the inside and the consistency was as if someone took and made white grits and got them so they were like a brick and then put a coating on them and fried them. Very strange and not very good. Sauces come with the apps but nobody told us what they were. Good concept just needs a lot of work. The gator bites were ok. The batter they were done in was not bad at all. We were going to get a boil but we wanted to see how the appetizers went. None of them were great so we passed on getting any more food. This was the grand opening and the floor didn't look like it had been mopped after it was installed. THIS IS A BOIL ! If you don't know what a seafood boil is, better do your research. Otherwise put on a bib and lean on into it. We had the #2 Cajun Mild. The heat scale is very accurate. Mild was mild yet you can taste Cajun spices. The trick to a good boil is timing. Somethings just take longer to cook. This batch miss the mark on the corn, it was a bit over done. Our server Sonni was fantastic and started us off with seafood bread and cold beers. Hubby and I opted for an appetizer of clam strips and then we split the number 4 dinner combo with the old bay garlic butter/medium heat. And that dinner combo was HUGE (snow crab legs, crawfish, sausage, potato, corn, shrimp)!! We also added a side of hush puppies also very tasty . Came here with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was flavorful and delicious. For some reason I couldn't order 1/2 lbs seafood so I had to get 1 lb of each. A pound of dungeness crab, a pound of white clams, and a pound of black mussels. My husband wanted to get a po boy sandwich but those weren't available to order that night (‍). He panicked and ordered some chicken tenders and a side of cajun rice. I can't speak for the chicken but i had some of the rice and that was also delicious! The servers are very friendly- but I was shocked to watch a young woman in the booth next to us climb up on the booth & write something on the already destroyed blinds with a magic marker. I've no idea if this is encouraged at all of Your restaurants, but some tagging is quite high up on the rafters, in which case you allow patrons to climb up on the booth dividers. You're asking for a lawsuit when someone falls. Sadly, I anticipate this restaurant closing soon. I hear another one opened in Erie PA. If it stays clean, we'll go there. The one star is literally for the food, which was just okay. There was a group of us that went out for my friend's birthday. The service was horrible. My friend's mom mentioned to 3 different waiters about the STICKY FLOOR!!! Who in their right mind would let paying customers be seated in an area with a such a dirty sticky floor. I even mentioned to a waiter while we were leaving and she was acting so rude saying the floor wasn't sticky as she saw my shoe sticking. Also, the reason for the one star, the waiter we had, just might have been having an off day, but she really ruined our experience. Didn't even wish my friend a happy birthday. My husband o decided to try something new to us so it was our first time here. The menu is limited, the atmosphere has a pirate feel and the service was decent. Now on to the food, the most important reason to go to a restaurant right? I hope to save someone from wasting their hard earned $$. Nothing we had tasted right. The corn on the cob was cold and mushy, my fried cod was gray and had an awful taste. My husband had the fried shrimp and was not impressed. He even said his beer tasted stale. Server was attentive without being overbearing. I'm happy to report improvement in this area, and the kitchen still has it with cooking all the seafood properly. I have been to this place about 2x and it has always been a great experience. The food is so good and the prices, you can't beat it. Each time I have been, the service have been great although the boils take a while, it comes very hot. I have also tried their fried shrimp basket and chicken wings, both were also delicious. Wish the wings were a bit more crispy. It's also cool how you can put your names on pretty much any surface to let people know, you were there . 1st time eating There was 14 (maybe 16) of us and they tried to accommodate us the best they could. I wouldnt go with such a large party again. We waited for about 30 mins but at the same time, people were always being seated. Our server was super nice and we got served pretty quick. The atmosphere was nice. It was clean. Did not like the tables(booths) in the center ,too open, felt like I was sharing with the next table. Service was slow, but friendly. I'm sure that will improve. The seafood bread is to die for. Did not know what to expect, thank goodness they dumped our boil in a pan. Great for sharing a lot of food. They give you all the tools you need to dig in, would have liked some bread to dip in the delicious sauce, and some wet wipes when we were done, but did not have the opportunity to ask.
