Or, at least, more than you would expect!) It also looks pretty cool on the inside, feels pretty warm and welcoming, while also simultaneously not, and it had a pretty good selection of stuff! I can't really vouch for that, or any other, of my opinions, now, but I doubt that it's changed all that much in, oh, probably five or so years, since I was last in there! It's kind of a "gimmick", place, and you get basically exactly that, except MAYBE better? (I say that, because it actually works and functions as a regular store, that could maybe even be a "go-to", for some people, lol!)

I've never had a better experience at this location than I have recently. the usual woman (who is ethnic, and I hate to presume, but believe she may be Indian, is a whole ahh delight!! like I said, I'm disabled, and once had one of my ESAs with me, she was accepting of it, wasn't intrusive or ask what my dog was for, and was eager to help with items I wasnt able to reach from my wheelchair. 100000% recommend this store, especially to anyone that may require a bit of assistance along the way.

Then i called to ask them the price of something. The clerk that answered the phone was so '"put out"' and annoyed ... I am 61 years old, and I remember going to this cute little country store when I was young younger…read morethan 5 yrs old!! I specifically remember walking from my grandparents home, which was the first house on nearby Ross Road! It was always a special trip. We would get to pick out a frozen treat from the little freezer out in front of the store, that is still there today, 55 years later!! I remember at the time, the had old wooden floors. Don't know if it still does today, I have to admit I haven't been to this little since I was probably 10 years old, but the fact that it's still there and going strong, along with the post office, definitely says that they must be doing something right! As far as the having short hours, that's because the community is just a very tiny little community, who uses it! And I don't think they "HAVE TO" have a PO Box, but can if they want to. It's just that it's nice that the small community of Carrolls, has its own Post Office to mail stuff, instead of having to GO INTO TOWN through the Kelso Post Office, which is ALWAYS BUSY! So, it actually makes it MORE convenient for people that live there, & NOT a hassle!
