But I was meeting up with a friend and it was almost 100F so we walked over and got a kids scoop of vanilla. I brought my puppy so I had to wait outside in the seated area. My dog and I loved the plain vanilla ice cream. To be clear I ate half first and let her eat after I was done. Lol. It's so velvety and wonderful. It was sooo good I was thinking about it for days later and I'm not a huge ice cream fan to be honest. Anyway I was telling family about it. I decided to get a few pints for everyone to try. We opted for the seasonal fruit ones because summers coming to an end and didn't want to miss out. Pomegranate ginger sorbet was ahhhhmazinggg. The ginger was actually predominantly forward. We love ginger and are the type of weirdos for ask for lots of extra ginger at sushi spots. Second flavor was raspberry sorbet. So so so good and fresh. FYI there are seeds still in there, it's not strained so if it bothers you keep it in mind. Flavor was amazing and I gave a bite to my family's dog and she loved it too. Last one was mint chip. Can't go wrong with a classic. It was good but my least favorite. I'm still dreaming about the vanilla and want to pick up one pint for them to try. Definitely want to have a few vanilla in the freezer for entertaining. Maybe bake a pie and have the vanilla on deck. Definitely for the holidays! I'm so grateful they're family owned and source all their fruit and ingredients from local farms. Love supporting local small businesses and keep telling myself that when it's ~$13/pint. LOL! The people are helpful and kind. I'll be back soon. And make sure you use your punch card!

We sat out front because side fenced in outdoor sitting is not protected from rain and it was a drizzly day. The front has an overhang. Insde was cozy and rustic. You can have any pizza's created 1/2 and 1/2. Hubby and I have different tastes in pizza so was perfect for us and both were DELICIOUS! He had 1/2 side with the BBQ chicken and my 1/2 was meat lovers, but with basil added. Got 1 glass of wine and a tomatoe soup and the bill was still only $35. Very reasonable prices! Everything was perfect!!! Flavorful pizzas. Our waitress was fantastic, friendly, attentive. We had a second waitress come check on us also, as well as a 3rd, young man (perhaps server or busboy) come out and give our pups a treat. We were awed by the food and OUTSTANDING service from everyone. Only set back is it's near a railroad track and hidden back of main roads so doesn't get as busy as youd expect, which can be a good thing too. Not a fan of busy atmospheres so we enjoyed it. We had a wonderful time. MUST TRY.

A very casual environment, presently with no indoor seating, but they do have nice outdoor tables and it is immediately adjacent Horseshoe Lake park that has ample tables and benches. The majority of the items are fast food, the kind of stuff that you might find at a carnival, perhaps. But they've added the chicken and fish more recently so we tried the cod fish and chips (they also offer albacore) and all three of us were delighted with our choice! The fish was very mild with a thin, tasty batter and it was fried perfectly (in avocado ok, btw). It came with very good french fries that had perfect seasoning on them, a tartar sauce that was delightful (and they gave a plentiful amount of) and coleslaw, which one of our party really liked and the other two of us weren't quite sure about the seasoning in it, but it wasn't bad. Before you go spend a small fortune at a fancier, sit-down restaurant for fish and chips, you might want to give this a try and see if this doesn't hit the spot for you as it did for us!
