This location has issues with rodents and bugs. On two occasions we found mouse droppings on the floor of our storage unit as well as on our possessions. Management set a trap and within a few days one mouse was caught in our unit. The mouse droppings have continued ever since. When the automatic lights turn on in the hallways it is common to see bugs scurry and hide in the nearest storage unit. Disgusting! The rent has MORE THAN DOUBLED over a year's time. If you rent from this place you can expect to received rate increases every several months. My most recent rate increase was $60.06. This is outrageous for this facility. There are other climate control facilities in the area for substantially less. My biggest concern is that numerous times when visiting after hours, we discovered that the doors had been propped open with no one at the facility. ANYBODY could walk right in and attempt to break into the individual storage units. I am 100% dismayed. I strongly encourage prospective renters to look elsewhere unless you only intend to rent for 2 or 3 months, you don't mind mouse droppings in your unit, and you enjoy having bugs crawl all over your belongings. The building was locked, a FedEx notice was taped to the door, and no one was around. I called the number listed on their website and explained to their customer service rep what the problem was. She tried selling me a unit over the phone. I explained to her; I will not enter into a contract on a unit sight unseen. And I expect to be shown my options, in person. After being placed on hold 3 different times while they tried to locate their employee, I hung up. I don't appreciate a business using up my lunch hour for this type of non-sense. Extra Space Storage should have more than just one person working in their office.

It was mainly because of Mary who was an icon at that facility, but also a gentleman named Tim who kept everything running there despite the cheapness of the owners who raked over their customers. I not only had the misfortunate to personally experience the lack of integrity on the part of the owners when I cleared out my Dad's unit after he passed, but also witnessed the unscroupolous treatment in the way they dealt with an older employee which led to his immediate resignation. I would give any other like venue my business before I gave one single dollar more to this business that shows a complete lack of respect for their employees and customers.
