DO NOT RENT HERE!!! My experience here has been terrible when I first rented here it was under different management and it was great then but the people who are there now are terrible the security is not what they claim there is not onsite security around the clock they have someone who lives there but that lot is not monitored my unit was one of 7 units at least that was recently broken into the management never notified me about the theft they claimed they didn't know it had been burglarized and the manager there admitted she had not checked the lot after the thefts were reported to her and she wasn't required to check the units until the first of every month. Then after I moved what I was left with out of the unit they tried to charge me another months rent on the unit. I can't get anyone to return calls and I tried multiple times to contact the customer service line but the reps there are no help and I have tried to contact the district manager Fred Leonow and cannot get a response from him either. Then one call I did receive from public storage they called at 845 pm held the line and never responded when I answered the phone I am out thousands of dollars in property this company never even offered an apology and they have been no help in trying to resolve the problem and the insurance they force you to take is a waste of money as well. Don't waste you time money and energy on this place it's not worth it I definitely will never use any public storage again read more

They are very friendly and they clean units and affordable to rent. They have security cameras on the property that watches every thing to make sure that everything is ok and none thing is broken into. read more

I am new to storage units. I was not sure what to look for or what to expect. After looking on the internet for the nearest storage facility I ended up at the Public Storage on Leffels Lane. The sales lady in the office, Stacey Eckler, was extremely helpful. She explained all of the ins and outs of the storage units, helped me pick the best size unit, and even directed me to the internet for the best pricing! The only problem was that the facility was full. Anyway, she took my phone number, and told me to keep checking on the internet for units to open. An hour later I received a call from Mrs. Eckler letting me know that two units had just checked out, and that I could go on the internet and reserve one, and come in later. I was able to put a hold on my unit and get back into the facility just before closing. Even though it was the end of Mrs. Ecklers day, she took all the time I needed to look at the unit and fill the paperwork out. Stacey was outstanding. She made the whole process extremely easy, and was patient with all of my questions. I highly recommend this facility. Maybe that is why it is so hard to get in!! Thank you Stacey Eckler. read more
