This location has issues with rodents and bugs. On two occasions we found mouse droppings on the floor of our storage unit as well as on our possessions. Management set a trap and within a few days one mouse was caught in our unit. The mouse droppings have continued ever since. When the automatic lights turn on in the hallways it is common to see bugs scurry and hide in the nearest storage unit. Disgusting! The rent has MORE THAN DOUBLED over a year's time. If you rent from this place you can expect to received rate increases every several months. My most recent rate increase was $60.06. This is outrageous for this facility. There are other climate control facilities in the area for substantially less. My biggest concern is that numerous times when visiting after hours, we discovered that the doors had been propped open with no one at the facility. ANYBODY could walk right in and attempt to break into the individual storage units. I am 100% dismayed. I strongly encourage prospective renters to look elsewhere unless you only intend to rent for 2 or 3 months, you don't mind mouse droppings in your unit, and you enjoy having bugs crawl all over your belongings. The building was locked, a FedEx notice was taped to the door, and no one was around. I called the number listed on their website and explained to their customer service rep what the problem was. She tried selling me a unit over the phone. I explained to her; I will not enter into a contract on a unit sight unseen. And I expect to be shown my options, in person. After being placed on hold 3 different times while they tried to locate their employee, I hung up. I don't appreciate a business using up my lunch hour for this type of non-sense. Extra Space Storage should have more than just one person working in their office.

As soon as I walked in I commented on the smell of the office which smelled really good from the candle they burned. Immediately I was greeted by two staff members (LT and the onsite manager) who were very upbeat and personable. The office was clean, the grounds were clean, the unit was really nice, AND I got a good deal. I am super big on customer service so even if a product is nice or your venue is nice, if you have bad staff I will not waste my time and will let everyone know...but these guys...awesome! Oh and I forgot to mention...on the way out I was offered a cup of Keurig coffee...(sometimes it's small things like this that get unnoticed or underappreciated) I am so glad I decided to rent here.
