I walked in, met Richard and we were instantly Bestfriends. The process was painless, mostly because I've rented with Extra Space before (different location). I walked in and he was completely prepared! We walked down to see the unit, then back into the office to sign paperwork. I had to buy a lock and some boxes and he guided me through how many boxes I need. What goes in what.... yada yada. Oh! Did I mention the guy was obviously in major pain from an allergic reaction and still continued to smile throughout the process! He deserves a raise, seriously! First months rent free, so that's a plus and the insurance is affordable. They have cameras on site and the place is really clean. I have honestly never had a bad experience with anything here. Went to attempt to purchase a huge outdoor unit for $10 that no one wanted, my first mistake on my end, I figured it wouldn't have been as difficult as it ended up being. At first everything was smooth and easy purchasing the unit and paying the $150 deposit that is supposed to be refunded after the unit was cleaned out. Little did I know, not only did I never receive my deposit but also received an unpleasant email days later accusing me of leaving items at the Mexican restaurant next door. After spending multiple days in 90 degree weather with only two people emptying the unit, the third person almost having heat stroke having to leave. The unit was a 10-12 foot by 30 foot unit!!! So not only did I end up renting 2 uhaul trucks on separate says but also was greeted with dead mice and cockroaches everywhere! Either way I carried on and suffered day in and day out. Finally after days of struggle we finally had accomplished emptying the unit to be met with the email stated above saying "I had left things next door" If I would have known they were to take my deposit I would have actually not removed anything other than what I wanted! Which is what is done when people aren't expecting to get their deposit back! I feel extremely played and upset about this! Especially since I never received any of my deposit back so I pretty much suffered for nothing!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL EVER DO BUSINESS WITH ANY OF THESE PEOPLE! Not that I would ever want my things at any unit or storage facility with dead mice and cockroaches everywhere! No thanks definitely not for the HIGH PRICE they charge...

I just have work equipment in my large unit (tools, some ladders and ropes, and whatnot), so no reason for bugs to be around, but I've noticed an ant trail several times running through my unit. There's absolutely nothing organic in my unit, so not sure what the ants are looking for. And now recently have seen a couple small roaches running under the door. Same story; there's only tools, so it's not a huge deal for me, but for anyone storing clothes or personal belongings, I could see how it might be an issue. Just beware, renters. I'm going to let the office know, but if they check these ratings, they may want to jump on this issue with an exterminator. The bugs bring a 5 star rating down to 3 stars.

It's easy in and out with the code and we're able to get in and access our items fairly easily. The only issue is that the road to get to the storage lockers is one-way and small so only one car can fit so you sometimes run into an issue where someone is blocking the road and you can't get to your unit until they move and not everyone is friendly or willing to move/let you by or even speed up whatever they're doing.

The items they have on display have the prices clearly marked and there's a good variety. The bathroom is in great condition, too! I think the woman who helped me and my mother was named Tammy? It's been a while, so I can't quite remember. She was so sweet! Gave me cookies and soda and basically babied me since I was nervous about driving a huge Uhaul for four hours. When I found out it was a pain to drive, she helped me downgrade with ease. We had to go to another Uhaul location because they didn't have to size we needed, so she made a reservation and the exchange was just that easy. Thank you so much for making our moving less stressful than it already was~ We truly appreciated it.
