Absolutely shit company. I needed to cancel my unit, did so within 24 hours, never moved in, never used the facility, never put a lock on the unit. I was told I would receive a full refund while face to face but once they got me out the door they refused to refund me $100. This is the worst experience I have had with storage units. 1. I could not pay online using any of the three payment methods i tried. i had to call and they took my payment over the phone. 2. The app does not work. I keep getting a message that the gate is off line. I know it is not since others are able to go in and out with having to use the access panel at the pole. 3. The access code i was given to manually enter no longer works. 4. The property manager number only goes to voice mail 5. I have made repeated attempts to get it so my app works. 2 different devices ( android and iPhone). so it is not my phone. 6. Support will only go as far as to say it is your phone. My storage unit that I had with them I found nothing but poop from rats or mice and I also found poop from a bigger size animal plus there was pee stains with smell from the pee on my furniture read more

Had the worst experience ever: 1) bait and switch on pricing. Increase twice in 2 years. Total increase was 41% above first rate. They figure once you move in, you can't move out. 2) mice droppings after just a few months 3) will not refund partial month even when employee said they would ( get everything in writing). 4) do not use their dumpster, I didn't, but they will fine you if you do...you are being taped. This place is a joke, wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. read more

Great place for your storage needs. The manger helped me back my vehicle into the unit and Linda was great completing the paperwork and showing the unit. Great locate for me. I stay at hotel across the street and then store the truck and walk back to hotel. Reverse when I come back off ship to pick up my truck and then home to another state. read more

I didn't encounter the same great customer service that these reviews rave about and the only reason I went there. I had questions as I have never rented a storage unit. I also had an online coupon and was laughed at and said they dont have coupons. It was in plain english on my phone that there was a discount coupon. Also that $1 per month which all storage unit facilities advertise is a joke. It will still come out to over 50 bucks your first month. She was getting restless with the customer in front of me when he had questions about the mandatory rental fee. He had several questions and concerns about it and I seen her face and attitude turning to aggravation. Same with me with my questions. No, you won't be receiving my money because you didn't earn my business. I don't need to be treated like I'm slow because I have questions about something I have never done before and something that will be charging me over 50$ a month. read more

I reserved the unit online and I got a call within thirty minutes to confirm. The lady was so nice. When I arrived, Rachel was there to help me. She showed me the unit and we had to upsize and it was no problem. I moved my stuff in that day. The $1 down is real but there is a one time fee of $24 so you technically pay $25 the first month. Who would not love this place? I have used this storage unit for 15 months and never had a problem. Special thank you to Crystal for rescheduling my move out to the end of the month to give me more time. Special Thanks to Lydia!!!! She was there with advice when I moved in and she was always there to answer any questions I had. Thank you Ladies. :-) Renters be sure to listen to the workers advice, everything they said came true and I wished I had covered my couch like Lydia suggested to me on my move in day. We had a unit at this location for over a year. We had issues with rodents several times. Paying was a hassle as we would stop in as many times as three times in a day to find the office locked. Sometimes there would be a sign saying will return by, but often that was not correct. They were the cheapest and you get what you pay for. read more

They were nice and all, but.... Once when I was late for paying the wrong account number, Cost me a wad. The very next week I am "accidently" locked out of my shed. And the next day and the next..and next.. I have liver disease and cannot drive. It cost me to take a cab and pick someone up to help me move things and and it's not cheap. Then after the ffort and money, nothing. So basically, I have to pay for my mistakes and I have to pay for their mistakes as well. Try calling? Not unless you want to talk to a computer that just sends you to another computer and so on. read more

My mother past away 2 years ago ,I put some of her personal belongings in storage at the Public storage at the Western Branch location. 3 months into the rental I went to check on the unit I notices rat feces all over the floor I went to the location manager and told her. I never heard back from anyone. 3 more months into the rental making it 6 months total !!!l I went back to check on the rental the rats got into the linen and padded furniture chewing them up urinated and defecated on them. I got the number for the district office I called them got the runaround by them.They wouldn't do anything other then ask me if I had there insurance I told them that there insurance wouldn't cover anything once again the area manager told me I'm trying to help you but I will not do anything to help you.I contacted the Health Department and the code Department they told me that there within the codes by putting a couple of rat traps on there property. even though there was proof of the rats nesting in that unit You need to read there contract carefully before renting from theme. also beware of these post they have a company to delete or hide any of the negative post. After cleaning out the unit I put all of the linen that was ruined by the rats they thought they were cute by emailing me a bill for $150.00( BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY ) is this the type of company you want to deal with !!! read more

First, this review has nothing to do with the property manager, who was extremely friendly and handled the situation as best as she could. So I decided I needed a storage unit for my Polaris RZR side by side and I checked my local units. I have used Public Storage in the past and felt that this would be a good choice since they are local. I made an online reservation for a 10x10 unit for the online price and immediately got a call from the property manager. I arrived at my appointment at 12pm and was shown the 10x10 unit and completed all of the paperwork and even paid the next month. After this I go to take my ATV to my new unit. Now, my ATV fits on my 10ft long trailer, with over a foot to spare. I try many different ways to fit it in this 10x10 unit and it will just not fit. It is at least a foot too long with any position I try to pull it in. The unit can't even be 8ft long. I then go to the office and ask if I can switch to a 10x15. The property manager then says of course, and shows me the 10x15. The online price for a 10x15 is $131, while the regular price is $148. It isn't much, but over the course of a few months that extra amount can add up quick. I check to make sure I can still get the online rate and I was informed that I could not. I would be required to pay the $148. I ask what my options are and I was told that I can just close the account and wait seven days. After the seven days I am eligible to receive the promotional rate again and then I can just reserve another unit. I would lose the $24 administrative fee. I would need to pay another $24 administrative fee when I reserve another unit. The second option was to call customer service and tell them my situation, so this is the option I chose. While talking to customer service, they let me know that within the first 30 days, no refunds are possible. I would not be able to get my money back even though it hasn't even been an hour since I originally rented the unit. She wasn't even offering to help me, just repeated that I would not be able to get any refund. I inform the property manager of what they told me and then just decided to close my account. After I left, I called customer service again and talked to another representative. She took my information and gave it to their district manager. I was told the manager would call within 24-48. Guess who never called? What annoys me the most is that in the lease it does state that the unit sizes are approximate. I asked for a 10x10 unit when I know that I only need less than 9 feet. The unit can't even be 8 feet long, which is a 20% difference. Is it also only 8 feet wide instead of 10 feet? 10ft x 10ft = 100 square feet 8ft x 8ft = 64 square feet That is a 36% difference of footage than what is advertised, which is being generous by even giving them 8 feet. I will not rent from this company again even if this situation is made right. read more

I'm moving out my place dec31 told her I wanted to move my things out put there was no rush unit was online for a $1 down and 15% of next month SWEET DEAL only had to pay $36 bucks she quickly pulled out the contract I signed and as we was almost done she told me next month Nov I'll have a discounted payment I SAID WELL I CAN wait to get the unit NOV what do u know it was to late because she took the payment first which is also my fault because I didn't pay attention why I say make ur own decisions because she fast talk you at the same time side jokes which she have and amazing personality but its not cool to take advantage of your customers... SHE KNEW my move out date was Dec 31 and used that to make me pay 3 months of storage payments when I could've only paid $36 Nov 1 and Dec the 15% off I didn't appreciate that at all...
