I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received from your facility. I recently rented a storage unit from your facility and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory Firstly, I was provided with misinformation regarding your operating hours. I was informed that the facility would be open on the day I planned to drop off my belongings, but upon arriving at the facility, I discovered that it was closed. This resulted in extra charges for the rental truck that I had arranged to use for that day. I was extremely inconvenienced and disappointed by this misinformation and lack of disclosure about the closure. Furthermore, I was also given incorrect information about the accessibility of the storage unit I had rented. I was informed that the unit would be easily accessible, but when I arrived to unload my belongings, I found that the unit was difficult to access and required additional fees for a different unit with easier access. This misinformation also resulted in extra charges and additional hassle. Never in a millions years, did I ever think that I would wake up and have a Shotgun pointed at me. You've read right, a Shotgun. Me and my father was taking a walk through the neighborhood on the 29th when we saw storage etc. Before we got to the office, we noticed that there was a blue car parked outside with its trunk up and a Carson sheriff's suv parked outside too. That had nothing to do with me and my father so we continue our walk up towards the front office. Right before I could even get to the steps of the office, a woman was holding a shotgun towards me!!!! I paused in total fear. Within secs, a young man standing next to a worker of storage etc, quickly jumped in and grabbed the woman holding the gun, he turn her body away from me as she continues trying to see if the shotgun had bullets in it. While all this took place, I approached the lady outside wearing a storage etc work shirt asking, " if they had units available and for what price? I was quickly dismissed. She was too entertained by what was happening with the gun, she said something very fast, I couldn't understand what was coming out of her mouth, I was brushed off with a hand gesture and a finger pointing towards the office. What a joke! She was simply being nosy. Whatever the cop and the other two people were doing had nothing to do with her, as the three of them enter into a little circle to talk leaving her by herself but STILL she remained outside. Once on the inside of the office I was greeted by another lady, she was kind. I explained to her what happen to me and that I tried to get help by the lady outside but she was rude to me, and the lady in the office pologized to me. She told me that they didn't have the size I was looking for. She offered to put me on the waiting list but I declined because of my previous interaction with her co-worker outside. I asked for the corporate office number and then I left. Will not be returning as a customer because the lack of remorse and professionalism. read more

I left this somewhere else but didn't see it post up so I came here. I'm not really techno so hope this works. Over all my experience as Storage Etc has been a excellent one. I am a returned customer and moving can be stressful for even the most experienced, but I am happy to know that the staff there are welling to and often find the perfect size one is looking for. They even offer packing supplies in the office, so you don't have to travel far for supplies. A bonus, at Carson location they have their own company moving trucks and if available you can reserve one for yourself. The prices for the units and truck rental is the best in South Bay. If you haven't visited this location yet, I would strongly suggest you to. Give them a call and they will gladly give you a tour of the sizes of units they have to offer. read more

When someone cares, you should always let them know. I recently lost my mom, and to make matters worse my building where I was living was sold and I had to move ASAP. I didn't know where to start or what size storage I was going to need, but that's where Leeann comes in. She drove me to a 10x10 and helped me develop a game plan. She told me to call her on the first of the month to see if there were other options available. I ended up going with a 7x14 which works perfectly. Krista helped me with the truck rental along with Leeann and gave me tips on how to maximize each trip. They sold me boxes and bubble-wrap (which are much stronger than the Home Depot brand). My experience for trailer parking: Dwayne and Leann were extremely helpful in getting my account set up. They helped me with all my needs and worries and were very kind. I remember Krista was also extremely helpful one of the times I called. I got a great spot for parking my large trailer, but make sure you inspect the parking first because some of them have messed up asphalt or aren't level which for a large trailer like mine may have not of worked. Mind the operating hours are 7-7 everyday which can make it hard going in or out if you have work and take the trailer out for the entire weekend read more

This location made my move in very easy. The contract was paperless, which was awesome, because I tend to throw my papers anywhere after I'm done with them. I simply asked the gentleman who was helping me to email my contract to me and I got it within seconds. Great place to store and I love that they have touchless entry into the property, I pull right up tothe gate and use my cell phone to enter and exit.. First time renting a storage unit but the staff made the process very easy for me. I was a little worried about 1 on 1 contact but they have taken proper measures to ensure everyone's safety. I drove in behind them in my personal vehicle to see a particular unit I wanted to see. I've had my storage here over 4 years. I love this place! Never a problem in all these years. The people in the office have always been very nice. Though, I've seen many faces come and go, the manager is still the same. Anthony is always laid back, easy to work with, and makes me feel like I have nothing to worry about regarding security or anything! Came in to inquire about a storage space and the ladies that work here were very helpful. The property was clean and i feel safe knowing my items will be here. The prices are great and the manager took me to see a few units to find one that would fit my items. I found that very helpful because a few places i had been to before didn't want to bother with showing me a space first, they just wanted a rental. I rented a unit here and had an overall great experience. This location has both parking and units spaces to rent. I love that they have after hours security monitoring, it makes me feel my items are secure. They also offer a free moving truck which was amazing because besides the competitive prices offered at the location I was able to save more money with the moving truck. Great prices.They always provide great customer service. The storage units and the property is always clean whenever I visit. Their access hours 7am-7pm allow me to put things inside of my unit and still get home to get ready for work. If and when they have units available, you should definitely check them out. This location is located near the 110 freeway and the 91, so there are many different options of getting there and they hands down has the best prices in the Southbay Area.
