Poor customer service issue with Greenfill Lone Star Self Storage LLC in Aubrey …read more Never do business with Greenfill Lone Star Self Storage LLC, Terrable customer service and very rude employees. I scheduled a pickup for 2 PM on a Friday. I arrived at around 1:50 and the front door was locked. I knocked on the front door and no one came after about 5 minutes I figured I would log onto the app and start the pickup process through the app thinking someone would be in the office at 2 PM since that was my appointment time. After I uploaded my DL, I got a message on the app to call U-Haul because the app could not check me in. I called the number provided to me in the message on the app and the customer service rep asked me why I was calling. I told her I was at Greenfill Lone Star Self Storage LLC to pick up the trailer but the front door was locked and I was told through the app to call this number after I uploaded my ID. She was very nice and said that she would see if she could see why no one was there since it was now 2:10 PM. At about 2:15 I could see through the window someone walking in the back door and the customer service rep at U-Haul told me she found someone to help me in the office and they would be right there. The lady opens the door and immediately tells me I did not have to call U-haul that I should have call the number on the door, never saying I'm sorry she was late, no remorse at all for making me wait. I told her that my appointment was for 2 PM it was now 2:15 and now I will probably be late to my appointment. The second employee told me that I had better cut the attitude that she has the right to refuse business anyone she want to, I said, you are late and have an bad attitude that I called U-haul, but I am the customer and should not have to call anyone, you should have been in the office at 2, I said just get me my trailer so I can get out of here. She told the older lady she was not going to give me the trailer and told me to leave. Do not do business with this company, they are rude, do not appreciate their customers and even when they are in the wrong will gas light you trying to turn it around that I was the issue. This place is very dirty and they park the trailers in a overgrown field. All I can say is stay away and go to another place.

BEWARE - BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING!…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with this company deserves one. I chose Firehouse Movers because of their glowing Google reviews, and their initial estimate was very competitive. Unfortunately, the final bill was a complete shock. To begin with, they insisted on a virtual estimate and refused to come out in person and assess the job. This was a 5000 sq ft home full of furniture, and I wanted the most accurate estimate possible. I asked multiple times for an in-person estimate, but my requests were declined. By moving day, I had sold two-bedroom sets and several other large pieces of furniture that were included in the original estimate. Even with significantly fewer items to move, the final price was more than double the original estimate. On the day of the move, I somehow went from needing two trucks, as stated in the estimate, to four. And from 9 to 17 total man hours. At the end of a long day, my husband just wanted them gone, so he reluctantly paid the bill before they could log anymore hours. When I called to discuss the bill, Firehouse claimed I had verbally approved the additional associated costs over the phone, citing a recording, which was completely false. I have asked multiple times for this recording, but I have not received it. That was not a small miscalculation. Our move was grossly underestimated. This whole experience felt misleading and dishonest. Stay away.
