Customer rest room locked up. Was Told to use Gas station down the street!. Manager said she was scared to clean a public rest room and asked if I ever had. I replied I owned a chevron station and have been cleaning rest rooms for 30 years. I suggest they get a port a pody or hire a service to clean their rest room. My wife takes BP pills and needs a rest room every 3 hours or so. Telling her to go to a gas station that she could have never made it to in time is cruel. I made a make shift toilet using a bucket and a towel to line it. She was in tears. This would make any man angry. read more

I've had a storage unit here since 2014 (yes I still have the same unit with all the same stuff in it..I'm lazy and don't know where else to keep my stuff lol) and in 7 years, my stuff has never once been disturbed or messed with! The staff is amazing and genuine and the units are very nice! Only down side is, you do NOT want to keep ANYTHING that is heat sensitive in the non climate controlled units because the units get well above 130° in the summer time and it will absolutely fry/melt anything that can't take the heat!! Outside of that, units are amazing, protected, fair priced and worth it! read more

Do Not Use this Place We were paying $250 a month for a large unit, everything was fine until we had a heavy rain here, it went down hill from there. Our unit was near the bottom of the slight grade, and all of the water runs to a drain a few steps away from our roll up door. Well, the drain did not work to meet the requirements and water backed up into several units. We were flooded about 6 inches deep. We received a call from the managers, but living in CA we were not able to check it out right away. We have talked to the people with the unit next door and they said they never received notification. When we were able to check the unit, there was mold everywhere, and anything not in a plastic totes on the ground was ruined. We lost Wedding photos, baby pictures, important documents, a complete Queen size bed and dresser, clothes, and so much stuff that we had to rent a 15' truck to take it to the dump, and it was full. When we talked to the management couple they said that it was not their fault as it was an act of GOD. They did not even say that they were sorry that it happened. He did warn us that if we did not clean up the unit when we moved, that he would be charging us extra to clean up the unit. We rented the unit for 5 months and all we wanted, was a safe and dry unit, I guess that was too much to ask for, some compassion on the part of the owners would have been nice too. read more

Please rent somewhere else! This is the second time my unit has flooded in the last few years. They neglected to even notify me about the flood and damages, even though multiple units next to mine where damaged. When I went in to the manager about it, he said there was nothing they could do about it. I asked them why they didn't even notify me about it. I asked them if they were going to take care of the damages. His reply was "you signed a wavier". No sorry, or how can we help make this right. Terrible customer service. Please don't rent here. I picked them because they were polite, kind, warm, and inviting. The unit was virtually spotless (outside, NOT climate controlled; you know how dusty and nasty those types of units can be!), and the caretakers were legitimately concerned about my comfort and safety as well as the cleanliness of the property. When I left (after 3 years), they seemed genuinely sad that I was leaving. I received a prompt refund from the remainder of my month, and a friendly phone call later. Just great people, and a really clean and safe place to keep your things. read more

BEWARE!!! This place has an ongoing problem with rodents and the accompanying rodent feces, urine and smell. The location is adjacent to desert on all sides. Other tenants have told me they have had a problem with rodents. The elderly couple managing this place are too old to keep up with maintenance. The facility is dirty, poorly constructed and smells. The advertised "air conditioned" units are a joke, it is a constant 90 degrees and above in the summer. Try to get the advertised "free rent" out of Eileen Breitweg. It took 8 months of reminding her. This facility charges an administrative fee of $20.00, most other local storage facilities do not charge this fee. Eileen Breitweg rented an indoor ($99.00) air conditioned unit to me with full knowledge of an existing hole in it. She had full knowledge of the problem prior to renting it to me and did not disclose this information to me. Her only reply after I complained about the dirt covering everything was, "We've been trying to get the company to fix it for 5 years." (I received a letter from her stating the unit needed repairing after I transferred out of it.) In response to my complaint, all she did was give me a bucket of water and some old rags to clean up the 2 inches of black dirt covering all my possessions. I transferred all my possessions to another unit before leaving the facility entirely and she refused to give me a complementary "free month" on the new unit I rented for the inconvenience she caused me. Try complaining about the management and you cannot find a corporate office anywhere. Unprofessional behavior, and a total lack of diplomacy is what you can expect if you have a problem with the managers, Jim and Eileen Breitweg. I will never use a Stor-n-Lock facility again. There is no upper management to handle problems with the on-site managers. And, there are definite problems with these on-site managers and the facility. If you like rodents and the damage they cause - this is the place for you! read more
