First impression was good. Went quickly down hill from there. Several small business located in an open mini mall setup. Went into U-Haul part. Nobody there. No problem. Waited 5 minutes. Noticed door bell on wall. No sign off anyone working there. Rang switch... doorbell rang throughout building. Ok so someone will come now. NOPE. Another 5 minutes. Then a guy came in ( didn't acknowledge or say anything to me) went in back room. Came back out way to busy to even say something. Totally avoiding me. After 2-3 awkward minutes he asked if "she had helped me"? I remember seeing a lady getting into a truck while coming in. I asked if that was her. Here is where it really went south. His reply??? She's moving trucks because they can't park there. Oh OK! That's ok but am I supposed to know that. He said it like I had known that for years. Excuse me!!! About that time he asked what my name was. He checked computer & wow!! Took key, was gone for 2 minutes & cMe back in and said your good to go with a receipt. Then the gal came in. All this took 20 minutes. When he actually started to help me & do his job it was less than 5 min. Why the attitude??? Who knows. I wouldn't go back or recommend. Terrible customer service and attitude.

JR assured us he had 23 years of moving/packing knowhow and that we were in good hands. Unfortunately, not the case at all. To send a clock one must create a crate (a wooden exterior) which is the only reason he got a single star. Nicely done. The interior though only had cheap corrugated and some roll padding, not nearly enough void fill. I'm convinced that JR and Maven Moving was trying to save a buck or two and save $$ on packaging materials. Upon opening our package to view our treasured clock, found the gold leaf glass smashed, cabinet cracked and generally beat to hell. Sickening. JR is clearly a coward and ghosted me until his wife took over and sent some texts after numerous attempts to rouse them. We asked for a detailed list of packing items, shipping, materials, time spent. To date, JR has not provided a scrap of paperwork. No details, poor communication. We asked if they were insured and bonded. no response. We asked if they filed a claim with UPS (as the sender files in case of damage), no response. Do not use JR or Maven Moving. you will be overcharged and disappointed in the results. Maven will be hearing from our legal team.
