THIEF: He has kept my Baldez stationary exercise bicycle, expensive Honda pressure washer and other miscellaneous items. He has admitted, via text message, to having these items and promised to return them. It has been almost a year now and has not returned them and is not responding to my text messages. Taking and keeping what is not yours I believe is stealing. In my opinion Gail is a thief. FRAUD: I paid him close to $900 as part of the contract to insure my 4 cars, one a classic, and all of my personal belongings and furniture. During the move one of my cars had paint damage and other items were broken or damaged. I requested an insurance claim form for the damages. His response was that he failed to pay the insurance premium and now he has no insurance. So, what happened to my $900 insurance payment to him? In my opinion this is fraud. LIAR: He promised to send me an insurance claim form which he has not done so to date and now we know why not. He frequently promises you one thing and fails to fulfill what he has promised. Based on our experience with College Movers today, I guess we got what we paid for...an economical…read moreway to load a one-way moving truck if you are willing to supervise and do part of the job yourself. I'd sum it up this way: Prompt arrival, willing hands, but below-average loading and tie-down skills. For example, we had lots of good rope but the team didn't seem able to use it to skillfully tie down a load in layers to avoid shifting and sliding. At their request, I went to Home Depot to get ratchet straps. When I returned, the other unexpected shoe dropped: the movers had just told my wife they had a hard stop at three hours (the original estimated time) because they were students and had to leave for class. We figured we would have them until the job was completed and secured to our satisfaction. When I called to ask why we were just learning about the hard stop, we were told this isn't how it normally works, and that they would come up with a solution. But their solution was to have one of the two workers stay an extra 15 minutes. In the end, we were left with a half-secured load and we will have to finish organizing the back third of the truck and doing the tie-downs ourselves.

He booked me for that upcoming Saturday. The two guys that showed up got to work immediately. They were very efficient with their time. Took beds apart, wrapped furniture in plastic, cardboard or blankets. Carefully loaded it in the truck. Cleaned up after themselves. Then unpacked it just as carefully and twice as fast as they'd packed it up. They worked non-stop, tirelessly all day, were so polite and accommodating. I was very happy by the days end, all of my furniture was perfectly placed, nothing scratched, a huge job done so professionally and seamlessly. It was like hanging out with funny buddies. ha ha! There were a lot of laughs going on, but all the while they moved fast and treated our things gently. They also were fantastically priced. I would recommend them to anyone! PS they also move pianos, which was why I found them online. There are no "piano movers" in Iron County, per se. They got my very heavy upright piano off the truck quickly and safely. Cheers guys!!
