I came into town after driving for 2 days from Portland OR, drove to Town Storage expecting to have a unit to unload in. the office was closed with no directions on what to do. so I ended up having to rent another storage unit somewhere else. when I called to get a refund, I was told that I'd been charged already and there was no way to refund my money. I came to St. George, Utah to help my friend move his stuff back to Los Angeles. After renting a U-haul trailer, we proceeded to loading all his stuff there from his storage space on the third floor. The move was not bad at all, due to how well this place is run. First off, I commend the staff running this facility for providing plenty of dollies that facilitated this move. Second, the climate control definitely helped because it was a pretty hot day outside. Moving everything took about one hour, which was about the expected time considering it was a lot of stuff to move. This place was designed efficiently, there was plenty of space to move everything around, and the freight elevator was working well. The one thing that made this place awesome: it had restrooms available to the patrons. This is awesome, considering that the storage places in west Los Angeles do not have the same. One thing though: make sure you are not planning to be there after dark, because the gates will not open after a certain time, even with a code. read more

I was searching for a space to keep 3 college kids belongings over the summer. This place appeared to be perfect. After speaking with the office man I explained what we needed and for how long. I was specific that we wouldn't need for the entire final month. I was assured that the rent fee would be prorated. After cleaning out the storage unit five days into the new billing cycle I was told no refund would be given and that they do NOT prorate! Seriously look elsewhere and don't be scammed ! read more

By Far Worst Experience Ever, Steve lied right to my face. Said one thing then another. He said he had a unit 10x25 available I mentioned we seen one online and would like to know about them. He said he doesn't know why corporate would do that he's there to make money and he doesn't have many vacant units to be giving discounts and he hates when they do that. We proceeded to see the unit we initially paid to reserve hence the online lady from townestorage said we could use it towards the unit of our choice if we decide to go with another. Steve continue on to say if we had started the online process on a discounted one he could pull our info up with a confirmation number, I proceeded to tell him I do have one he kept trying to impose on the smaller unit I showed him the email for the reservation done the night before and he refused to Honor corporate pricing despite the fact he had the exact unit we needed available. He was rude when I asked him for a refund since he won't honor the discount given to us for 3 months. Very very dissatisfied and he should have respect towards his customers and not raise his voice to them when he doesn't agree with corporate rules or discounts. Find another job Steve you seem pretty upset with the way your bosses ask you to do things. Such as Honoring a discount from your own company website! I absolutely love this unit. So simple and easy to load into and use. The code to get in and having such good locks makes me feel so secure of our stuff being there. We will absolutely recommend this storage as well as use it again if we need it. The staff is so friendly and considerate. We only had one minor issue when we first got the unit which was easily fixable and they helped us out very well. We were planning on only using it for a month however plans changed and they were able to work with us!! Highly recommend this place!! read more

I called to rent a storage unit then the next day I had a garage lined up and no longer needed the storage unit. I called the day after I initiated and canceled over the phone, still had to pay for that first month, which I get... but not once did the guy tell me I had to fill out a form to vacate. I never even set foot on property let alone got a key. Fast forward a month and I'm told I'm late on payments and accruing late fees. When I went in person to cancel the guy up front was rude and abrasive. Horrible customer service!! Taking advantage of a female new to town. I wouldn't recommend this place and the guy up front needs to learn some manners! read more

OMG if you need to rent a Uhaul dear God don't go here! Them along with those sorry useless idiots in Las Vegas, NV will never make sure those making reservations in advance or renting a certain type of vehicle get what they reserved! I tried repeatedly to rent a van and truck from this location. Every time I got calls canceling my truck or trying to send me to a place I've never been to. No one really seemed to care about customer service at all! I tried to rent the van, it went into repair mode, I was repeatedly told their idiot mechanic couldn't give them a date when it was ready, they knew I was looking for it, had a month long reservation for it, then I finally got tired of waiting and canceled it because they couldn't give me any idea on how much longer the van was going to be out. Once I canceled it, I called back to see a few days later what the status was. Well low and behold suddenly it was fixed and they rented the damn thing NEVER ONCE picking up the phone to tell me it was fixed - the person waiting for a month, the opp to rent the van first! NEVER! Each time I tried to rent a truck I was constantly told that Uhaul rented my truck from under me, no matter when I made my reservation, it happened at least 4 times! Then Uhaul would call to cancel my reservation because they gave the trucks to everyone who made a reservation AFTER ME!!! How is it possible that this can happen????? No explanations or apologies were ever made to me! I finally called Uhaul Corp. HQ in Phoenix, AZ and filed complaints against this location as well as the LV idiots. Turns out the LV location is run by an equally stupid person as the staff there! I went with Budget, got a better deal, a truck and was not told at the last minute a truck wasn't available, thereby costing me time, effort and money all over the place from having to cancel my plans yet again!!! These people are total flipping boobs that have the worst customer service skills of any storage facility I've encountered, and their Uhaul services are even worse! Go with Penske or Budget if you actually want to get a vehicle! You can't rely on this place at all!!!! They SUCK!!!! read more

Great storage facility. Easy to get to off riverside drive and after hour access by code. The lady at the office is really friendly and it only took a few minutes to get my unit paid for and ready to move stuff in. Way more inside units than you would think, at least 3 floors with elevator access and rolling carts available for customer use. The locks are secure too, not the kind you can cut off like a padlock, and lots of security cameras and limited access unless you have your code. Glad I found them. read more

They will nickel & dime you, they have two prices there price online and walk in. It's up to you to know to give the online price then it depends what floor. A 5x5 $39 or $47. Then they don't tell you until last that there is security fee of $10 then you have to pay for there lock $15. They don't prorate months so whatever day you start is when it's due. They act like its all a favor so you will reciprocate. But it's all a sales tactic. I drove down the street to Bella Vista storage within 5 mins I had a bigger and cheaper locker they prorated the month I was able to use my own lock. There prices are clearly marked. I was very satisfied with the security, cleanliness, privacy, unit size options and friendly office staff. My family shared 3 different units to meet our needs for 3+ years. I only wished that entry hours were later than 9pm as many times my days were so busy that wanting to add or remove things from storage would have worked best in the quieter late evening. read more
