It arrived early at 1:45 PM but was in terrible condition. The berries had fallen off the top, the frosting was damaged and ripped open on one side, and overall, the cake looked like a mess. I received a credit for this order as well, but the experience was very disappointing. I know Whole Foods in Glastonbury can deliver these cakes in excellent condition--I received one last July, and it was perfect. This time, the cake arrived in a flimsy box, which may have contributed to the damage. I appreciate the credits issued, but the quality and reliability of this order were far below expectations. I wasn't mentally prepared for what happened next, but it was entertaining. When you first walk in, you get the full bombardment of sights and smells. Like a mix of a fairgrounds and a convenience store. Then all the displays and aisle lead to a zig zag path with no nice way to circumvent. You have to follow the path, and along each bend is the grocery's brand of products. Dotted along the path are a number of animatronics. Singing and dancing fruits, veggies, and animals greet you with a cavalcade of noise and motion. None of them annoying, but it's something you need to adjust to as you go about your supply run. Eventually got to the meat section, and the quality and price were fairly reasonable compared to competitors. They have large pieces of meat that the butcher can clean up and cut into whatever thickness you like. Pricing of the other groceries varies, and the selection is usually limited to a few options. But the quality of the staples makes it a worthwhile trek. The staff at the time I went was not very present, but the cashier was friendly. It's not a constant stop, but one that I would go to for the freezer restock. For those who have not tried them, expect rainforest cafe or bugaboo creek and prepare for a walk.

My mom walked in one day and spoke to the owner as she was the sweetest lady ever and super nice. My mom talked about how she immigrated and how she's been looking for a local store like this to feed her sweet tooth! (European delights and sides/snacks for when having tea/coffee) from that day on we have been considered regulars. My mom introduced my dad, then they showed me the ropes, etc. we have witnessed the change of ownership from the previous owner to the apprentice and the service has stayed just as great, nothing less expected from the amazing team. Anyways, 100/10 would recommend always as they always helps us and are always doing it with a smile.
