Placed an order to go as I am a huge wing fan, and placed it through their website. I ordered 15 wings all together which allowed me to get 2 sauces. I went with the extra hot, well done and extra sauce and the spicy bbq the exact same way. I was extremely surprised when I got my order. The wings were very very decently sized, and cooked and made the exact way I ordered them. The sauces were absolutely delicious, the wings were fantastic! I did get full pretty quick and had some leftovers for dinner. But my goodness, these are some proper wings. Now they are pricy, but you are paying for great quality wings. The girl who helped me was super sweet, it's a little establishment. They do have some tables, the ambience supports SBU hence the name. But I'm all about this place. I wish the prices were a little cheaper for certain things, but I will definitely try a lot more of their wing flavors.

I went in expecting a five star experience. My friend and I had brunch here previously and it was…read morefantastic. So ... we were on the waiting list for Schnitzels at 5 pm on a Sunday. They don't take reservations. After about 10 minutes my friend and I plus 3 teens (my kids and a friend) were starving and Schnitzels was loud and crowded. We headed a few doors down to Sweet Mama's. Seated immediately. My friend and I shared the steak with penne dinner special and a Cobb salad with grilled chicken. My daughter ordered penne with butter off the kids menu. My son got a turkey burger and his friend got a grilled chicken sandwich on a hero instead of a wrap. Now the good -- portions were huge! My son could barely fit his burger in his mouth and it also had a half avocado on it. They didn't skimp. Steak with penne was delicious and so was the Cobb salad. We all shared off each other's plates because everything looked so amazing. Now the bad. My daughter's pasta was elbows, not penne as indicated on the menu. Not a catastrophe but she was looking forward to penne. Then - my son's friend put some ketchup on his plate for his fries. It was ,.. not red but brown. The bottle had an 8/25 expiration. We are in April 2026. We told the server and she said it's because it's the "simply ketchup" with no artificial dyes. She offered him ketchup packets "with fake dyes" but by that point he lost his appetite for fries. We grabbed ketchup from another table, same brand, Heinz Simply. You can see the difference in color. We showed the server and she acted annoyed. I told her we didn't want anyone getting sick on that ketchup and pointed out the expiration date. She rolled her eyes and said "oh I'll just throw it away." She kind of had an attitude and didn't even apologize. So that's why 4 stars. We'd go back but request not to have that server. The food is fantastic but watch your ketchup! If someone put it on a burger it would have been ruined.

Not terrible, but also not memorable…read more Sweet Mama's is a hybrid concept tucked away in the adorable Stony Brook Village. On one end, ice cream. In the middle, restaurant, and towards the back, a bar. Surprisingly at 11am, for a table of four, we waited about 10 mins for a table. We ordered a variety of things, from soup, to bennys and a mimosa flight. The mimosa flight was very cute but mine ended up tasting just like white wine. The real disappointment imo was the Belgian Waffle. Now I know, part of this is my fault, for expecting more than what the description laid out. But for $12 I got one crispy and tender waffle with powdered sugar and that was it. No side of fruit, no home fries, nothing. Everyone else enjoyed their food, which I was happy about! And service was wonderful. But for $12 for one waffle, this place may be a biiiiiiit overpriced for my liking.

The steak looked thin when it came out but was absolutely delicious and tender and plenty for a light lunch for two. The waitstaff brought us two plates and knives to split the meal. I later had a regular coffee which hit the spot. The ambiance here made me feel like I was a regular on a tv show - it's cozy and welcoming. If I lived closer I'd probably be here every day! The live guitar music was fantastic. It wasn't too loud so we could still hold a conversation. Lots of booth seating as well as tables. We showed up around 4 pm and it wasn't too crowded but it got crowded later. The bathroom decor made me laugh. #iykyk Definitely a must visit for lunch, an early dinner or coffee. I can't wait to visit again!

The space is open…read morewith plenty of seating, servers are very nice, and it feels perfect for a quick date or girls' brunch -- but not really a spot for guys to hang out and eat a lot of food. I had the yogurt with blueberry filling, pineapple, and grapes -- it tasted exactly as it looks, clean and simple. The caffè latte used Paramount Coffee's "The Perfect" beans; the shot was dark and strong at first, but once mixed it became smooth with a slight bitterness. The chicken Caesar salad bun with onion rings had a simple, healthy flavor but the portion was a bit small. Banana foster was more like a dessert than coffee, with a strong cinnamon note -- the banana flavor was subtle due to caramelization. You can add espresso if you want. Downsides: despite the name, it's not a good place to study. A lot of people come to eat, talk, hang out, and play games, so it's not quiet. Price-wise, coffee and drinks are reasonably priced, and milk swaps or small customizations aren't heavily charged, but food portions feel small for the price. They have a restroom, are wheelchair friendly, and they mentioned they own a roaster nearby and plan to start roasting their own beans soon. Overall, a solid spot with good vibes -- just not for quiet studying.

They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and serving up amazing meals at each. Choose from 5 different gravies and then your schnitzel. Traditionally served with pork or veal, but they do have chicken or eggplant as well! I went with the classic Weinershnitzel which is traditionally served with veal schnitzel and served with brown gravy. Lindsey got the Chicken Rahmschnitzel which is schnitzel topped with a creamy white reisling-infused mushroom gravy. Both were filled with flavor and we were very impressed! All schnitzel is served with spätzle, seasonal vegetables, and red cabbage. This was the definition of a comfort meal that. We started with their Bavarian Cheese Board, and classic German appetizers - potatoes pancakes paired with this insane apple butter, and potato dumplings with your choice of gravy. We loved the vibe in there. Great pub style feel but also nice indoor and outdoor eating. Our server Eden was amazing and such a great help! We truly loved this place and we can wait to go back! I went with the chickpea fries, which were very crispy on the outside and extremely creamy on the inside. It is coated in a layer of chickpea powder and then fried. It was very interesting and i'd order this again. It paired well with the harissa aioli. For my entrée, I got the beer-battered fish and chips. My fries were much thicker than everyone else's, and they also came with potato chips that tasted oily. I didn't love the fish and chips and wouldn't order this again, but my friends enjoyed their burgers, shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, and roasted cauliflower steak. Service was good. The wait staff checked on us many times to make sure everyone got their food and that our water cups were full. The outside of Mirabelle is beautiful, and we saw it being set up for a baby shower. My visit was to get information about their Bridal Shower packages. As you walk in, my first impression was charming, no question this would be a perfect place for my daughters shower! Since Easter is next month, the restaurant was already decorated over the top for it! My supervisor at work has dined at The Country House during Christmas and no exaggeration, it is somewhere I could imagine you would see in a fearure film Holiday movie. Not one stone is left unturned, I saw some pictures and they were just beautiful! My appointment was with the owner, a very gracious man who obviously knows how to throw a celebration....detail, detail, detail!! You receive soup to nuts, the menu is superb! I was so impressed and excited, I wanted this so bad for my daughter, until he advised what the cost would be per person. Unfortunately for me, it was way too much over my budget, it was literally double the cost of anywhere else I have been to so far! But, I can absolutely tell you this, if I could afford it, no question my daughters shower would have been held at The Country House! We were a group of four but the table seemed like it was meant for six or even eight. The dining room is very spacious and they even have a private back room for events and parties, which looked to be buffet style from what I could see. The bar and counter area was really long. Plenty of space to dine and watch from any angle. There's even a back patio next to the parking area where you can toss the beanbag and play some outdoor games. Serving mainly bar food and casual dining options here. The menu online is very different from what we were given. Think sandwiches and wraps. With a small selection of entrees like grilled shrimp and steak (generous portion) or burgers. Started with the French Onion Soup as it was a cool evening and I wanted something warm for starters. It was quite salty and it did have plenty of onions. Meh Hubby got the steak and shrimp I mentioned before, generous portion on the steak. My son got the steak tips with mashed potatoes. He did enjoy that. My daughter opted for the grilled cheese with bacon and a side of fries which was actually on the kids menu. Not found on the regular menu presented. I had the French Dip (meat was very chewy and the dip was actually more of the onion soup!) This came with a side of fries but I asked to change it to tater tots since it was an option. They were a little mushy, breaking down with each stab of the fork. So afterwards I realized we didn't get the wings or the burgers they claim to be the best in town, but we noticed the other patrons got wraps and wings. Looked quite saucy. Next time.
