Crab cake
John S.

We stopped here for lunch. I got the crab cake. It was phenomenal. The service was quick. No complaints

Wedge salad, those yummy yummy rolls and an amazing martini with hand, stuffed blue cheese olives

Came here for my birthday and was so happy when I left! My belly was full, the food was delicious. The only thing I can complain about was that it was super crowded and a little bit noisy.

Gratuity is completely based on the same bill.

The food and service was amazing and it is great place to eat. My issue was when the bill came. The gratuity 6%-8% higher on the Merchant copy vs the receipt. I don't know if they are pulling a scam or just the system was messed up. JUST BEWARE, check your bill if you attend to go there.

Chicken Panko coated with a creamy lemon and caper sauce, and drizzled parm. The other entree, the medium rare prime rib

Date night dinner with my wife on a Saturday was simply flawless. We were greeted by the pleasant hostess and immediately seated for our reservation. Amelia the waiter was knowledgeable and efficient. Our water and drinks along with the heated sweet rolls and honey infused butter were served up within 5 minutes. Rombaur Chardonnay and Macallan scotch 12 year old. A nice start. The chilled fresh iceberg wedge with bacon, tomato, and blue cheeses dressing was the best I have ever had. Full stopThe 16 pounce prime rib medium rare was thick and cooked perfectly. A little more flavor in the crust would have been nice but that's a nit pick. Au gratin potato with the entree dripping butter and cheese (yum). My chicken coated with panko and parm was perfect. Smoothly seated, served, and paid in just over an hour for $120. We now have a new local favorite!

Ribeye and au gratin
Marcie M.

Alexis was my server. She was fantastic. I ordered the French onion soup and the ribeye steak with au gratin potatoes. Best meal in Deer Park. The ambience is dimly lit and nice and cozy. Great for a party of one like me in business. I'm from California. This might be better than the steak restaurants in my area. Come here first! Don't dilly dally like I did. You won't be sorry.

Great place to order appetizers and have a glass of wine or cocktail (or two). We love the steak egg rolls and the French onion soup.

So, I was…read morequite surprised to learn that it is a Korean BBQ restaurant, and it is rather modern and chic with their decor. When we arrived, we didn't have a reservation, and it was before dinner time. So we got seated right away. While the menu didn't have indication of allergen, we asked about gluten free for the BBQ option - as long as there's no marination. They gave a good number of banchan but not all are gluten free. The presentation of the raw meat was theatrical in a way - they came in a platter with dry ice. The amount was also generous. Our wait staff was very attentive. She kept coming by to check on us, and half way through, she changed our grill plate. We also ordered a dessert to share. It's a great place for a date night, and special gathering over good foods

Mother's Apron exceeded my expectations. The kimchi tasted homemade and was so good on its own. We…read moreordered two appetizers and split the Mother's Signature Hanjeongsik between three people, and it was the perfect amount of food. We were a little hesitant ordering the Hanjeongsik since it was our first time and the mains (buttered abalone and short rib patties) were unfamiliar to us. Our server described it as a type of meal that was served for the royal family and comes with several dishes. Theirs included kimchi pancakes, freshwater eel, smoked salmon, and more. I think the shrimp tempura could be more flavorful, but aside from that, the dishes were thoughtful and so good. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality, and the menu has great variety as well, from KBBQ to bento boxes. The restaurant itself is modern, while the food is cooked traditionally and packed with flavor. I would gladly drive from the city just to eat here again.

The menu offers a wide variety of options that work well for different budgets, dietary preferences, and needs, so there truly is something for everyone. Portion sizes are generous, the food presentation is always appealing, and the flavors are consistent. One of my favorite touches is the complimentary bread brought to the table. It is fresh and delicious every time. The service is always pleasant, attentive, and professional, which really enhances the overall experience. Parking is easy with a good sized lot, and everything about the experience feels reliable and thoughtfully done. They have a party room that I noticed had people going into. Even though this is a chain restaurant it always delivers on quality, consistency, and lots of choices, Biaggi's is definitely a must try in Deer Park.

Who knew that a Whole Foods on Kiddler Street would turn into a stealth Asian pantry goldmine?…read more I usually walk in into pricier grocery stores with a plan: meat, bread, home. But today, that plan was deliciously derailed. I had every intention of skipping the produce but ended up frozen in my tracks. There it was. Fresh coconut chunks. Whole tamarind pods, not paste but the real deal. Aloe. Yucca. Chinese melons. And even red-flesh dragon fruit. The kind that makes your smoothie look like it came from a fairy tale. Normally, I plan a separate pilgrimage to Jongboo, H Mart, or Seoul Market for these ingredients. Reviews for those are coming, I promise. But this was unexpected magic in a mainstream aisle. I have spent a lot of time in Asia for work and completely fell in love with the food. My husband and kids are on board, so our kitchen is a happy rotation of Korean BBQ, Japanese curry, Singapore noodles, and hot pot. And this Whole Foods just made that rotation easier. Bonus points for three kinds of figs and gorgeous flowers, both on sale. This location may say Whole Foods on the outside, but if you look close enough, it quietly says Asian market crossover on the inside. And for that, I am hooked.

It's not one bad apple it's the entire store, consistently. Quality has dropped since the Amazon takeover, prices are busted, and even basic things like bagging groceries are done carelessly. This past visit everything was crammed into one bag until it ripped on my way to the car. For "premium" prices, that's messed up. The vibe is miserable. Staff seems avoidant, unhappy and takes it out on shoppers. This store used to feel welcoming...now it feels hostile. Plenty of better places to spend your money.
