Cheesecake dessert slice topped with raspberry sauce
    Kathleen L.

Today I saw a commercial on television for a special 3 course meal so I figured we would give it a try. We have never been to this location it's relatively new. We signed up online for the rewards program and you get a free blooming onion but you have to dine here at least once to get it. We added our name to the waitlist and luckily there was no waiting time today. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and we were seated right away by the friendly hostess. There are lots of different types of tables there's booths, tables, half Booth / half tables, and also tall tables near the bar area and there's two televisions by the bar. My husband and I both ordered the three course meal. My husband picked the soup any upgraded it to French onion and he ordered the 6 oz steak with a side of broccoli it also comes with a slice of cheesecake for dessert. I ordered the chicken on the barbie with broccoli and for my appetizer I ordered the Caesar salad. Before we were even ready to order they had placed some bread with butter on the table which we appreciated. I asked if there's free refills on the bread and she said yes so we ordered a second loaf. The French onion soup was delicious and hot... Almost too temperature hot to eat right away The Caesar salad was very peppery and salty. I think I will ask for the dressing on the side next time. The soup and salad were both a decent portion sizes too. The entrees were both amazing and cooked to perfection. I personally don't like so much salty seasoning on my chicken but it was delicious. It came with a BBQ sauce but I did not use it because I am not sure if there are tomatoes in it (eating tomatoes cause me so much pain) The cheesecake slice for dessert comes topped with either chocolate or raspberry sauce... It is your choice. My husband ate the raspberry and I am taking mine home. We had a great time and highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if your in the area. We will be back!

Crispy Bloomin' Chicken Sandwich with a baked potato

My husband and I have been coming to this location more often since they remodeled, and since the remodel, their attention to detail and to the customer has greatly improved. Since the remodel, we have come here a few times and have never had bad service or a problem with anything. When walking up to the door, there is usually now a staff member/host who opens the front doors for you as you walk in. Then, when being seated, the host now talks to you and asks how your day is going as you get to your table. It's a nice change and you can tell that they are really trying to make good first impressions from right when the customer walks through their doors. This location also has nice plates now, too, and even steins for beer. Recently, I have ordered the crispy Bloomin' Chicken sandwich ($14.79), which had the perfect crispy crust with a juicy chicken breast inside. I've also ordered the Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie ($20.99). This meal has SO many shrimp on your plate and it was cooked perfectly when I ordered it. The perfect amount of butter to seasoning so they weren't dry, and I also chose rice and a baked potato to be my sides. As for my husband, he normally gets some type of steak or steak/chicken combo meal and he always enjoys it. We tried the Tasmanian chili during our last visit and we also thought that was delicious and it had a good amount of spice. Overall, I do recommend this location because it is always clean and both their service and food is great!

Came in for a quick bite. Sat at the bar and was taken care of by Michelle. Great service and it was quick. The steak was cooked a perfect medium which doesn't always happen. This location used to be a Panera, now it is Outback. I like it a lot. Very cute interior. Music may be too loud for some people but I liked it. Highly recommend coming by and visiting. Great cooks in the kitchen as well.

Joined the online waitlist, but showed up early and they still could seat us. We were traveling from out of town and crazy hungry so the bread they brought out was extra good. Big portions and good flavors. Happy with our choice to stop here.

The steak is more appetizing due to its fine grill markings. The steak was prepared exactly as I had requested. It was well-seasoned and tender. The two sides that I got were superb.

Outback Steakhouse is a classic! Great service, food, beer, and good time. Never been to Australia but Outback Steakhouse makes me want to go! They know how to season their food very well! Grab a Foster's Beer to set the mood! Bloomin Onion is awesome! Steaks are great! Love the wings and fully loaded baked potatoes!

Stopped with the family after viewing Avatar in South Barrington's AMC. Got a $100.00 gift card for Outback, knowing we are 5, would easily have to kick in more $$$. Our Server was "Isa", she was professional, funny & enjoyed her work. Restaurant had a semi Australian vibe. We started out with cocktails: Pina Koala, lemonade, Cosmo Martini, Beer, & Strawberry Smash Tini . Appetizers were the following: Bloomin ' Onions & Shrimp. Entree's were the following: Classic Prime Rib, Ribeye, (Two) Filet Mignon, & A Half Slab of Ribs. We shared a Chocolate Thunder from Down Under. Cheers, Mangia & Bottoms Up!

I understand they were busy, but there was no where to sit at the bat making the wait more difficult. Allergy/nutrition wise I could not find much information on their website. The scallops appetizer was originally made with butter, but the waiter was able to request it be made with oil. Brussel sprouts were sautéed in animal fat. I believe pork fat with little pieces in bacon in there. I am not vegetarian, but wanted to not the lack of details in their ingredients of the food. Make sure to ask the waiter for specific food restrictions if necessary. They seem knowledgeable, but so little info is on the menu you need to ask the waiter. When I said I could not have dairy I was offended a dairy free menu. I am also gluten and egg free, but honestly our waiter was so busy tonight I did not feel confident asking about all my food sensitivities since they are not life threatening, and I can handle a little. Food was overall very good, but they were clearly overwhelmed by how busy they were for New Year's. I would love to try again when it is not so busy.

Our waiter was a true professional who took plenty of time to explain everything. Most of us ordered steaks or chops of different sizes and cuts. Sides too. All arrived well-timed and I know mine was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the desserts too. Between the food, the vibe, the drinks and the staff the experience here was best-in-class.

It's an ideal setting for a special occasion, a meaningful moment, or simply a well-earned night away from the kids.

Our server explained that their menu changes seasonally based on what foods are in season. Additionally, their wine list received the 2025 "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator! For starters, we enjoyed the Roasted Mushroom Flatbread, Pinot Grigio, Malbec, and Sparkling Cosmo which was shaken table side. All were apart of their happy hour specials! I loved the fruity and fresh taste of my Cosmo and it was the perfect pink color. For mains, I got the Caesar Salad and the side of Mac N Cheese. The Mac N Cheese isn't quite large enough to share and with how good it tastes, you won't want to. My husband enjoyed the Black Lentil Bolognese which he enjoyed having black lentil be the base of the sauce over meat. My aunt got the Pork Chop which is her favorite by far! It was a great size, cooked perfectly, and was good quality. We all enjoyed our food and drinks as well as our fun banter with Maddy, our server. I would come back to try other menu items and see how items change seasonally!
