This is only my second time here. I always love the place its so classy. I just feel like the floors were slippery. Our server was great but one of their managers was amazing! His name is John! The food was great! The meat were all seasoned and cooked perfectly! And they would go around to make sure to offer what they have and your steak preference. If they dont have it they would come back around with what you wanted! Will definitely be coming back! Happy eating!!!

Celebrated Valentine's Day here. We had a 6pm reservation but when we checked they were running about 20-25 mins behind. I let the server know I was celiac / gluten free and she said she would bring out an allergy menu. I also could pull it up on my phone. Their website allows you to add your allergy and it will tell you what you can eat. The server wasn't very knowledgeable with GF items. She contradicted what the menus showed so I just asked her to confirm with the kitchen. The buffet was very clean and I felt safe grabbing my items. There are many items that are gluten free. Per the server, I couldn't keep the menu so I just took my phone up with me. Also, the fried bananas, Brazilian cheese bread, and 3 desserts are GF. We opted for the crème brûlée to share. Overall the food was good, but it would be nice to have the staff more knowledgeable. If I didn't have my phone or do my research before, I wouldn't have been able to remember what was GF at the buffet since I couldn't take the menu with me. Also, wished the mashed potatoes and fries were GF. They do not have a dedicated fryer.

Here's a polished version of your description with smoother flow and a slightly more engaging tone: Texas de Brazil does not disappoint. From the moment you're seated, the experience feels both upscale and welcoming. The gauchos continuously circulate the dining room, offering a wide variety of perfectly seasoned cuts of meat and preparing each one to your preference--rare, medium, or well done. The salad bar is just as impressive, featuring an abundant selection of fresh vegetables, cheeses, and hot items that can easily stand on their own as a full meal. Every detail is thoughtfully presented, giving you plenty of options to customize your dining experience. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The staff goes above and beyond, consistently refilling water glasses and wine without you ever needing to ask. Reservations are highly recommended to guarantee a table. For example, a 12:30 reservation was ready even earlier, with a convenient text notification at 12:10 letting us know the table was prepared. If you're looking to enjoy the experience at a better value, take advantage of their weekday lunch specials, which are often about half the price of dinner which makes it a great time to visit without sacrificing the experience.

We stopped in for lunch today. The decor is bright and beautiful. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server within moments. Our server was very knowledgeable. Your first course is the large "salad bar" which included everything from salad, to charcuterie board items, sauces, shrimp, and more. The staff comes around with numerous throws of meats including bacon wrapped chicken, flank steak, garlic steak, bbq chicken, lamb and more. This is an all you can eat experience. They also serve fresh rolls, mashed red potatoes, French fries and cinnamon sugar bananas for the table. Everything was flavorful. Service was excellent. We will be full for days!

I am in town for a few days and decided to dine at Texas de Brazil. Today, I put it on my itinerary and here I am. The restaurant is gorgeous inside with cleanliness that would make the Board of Health very proud. The color balance and table settings are exquisite. The service is top notch. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and informative. The meat choices are superbly seasoned. The food bar has enough choices to satisfy the most scrutinizing dining enthusiast. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience today and will be back. Everything was absolutely delicious.

I have not been here in years! It's great to know the service and food has maintained its quality. I'm so glad we stopped in, despite the location in a busy mall season we were quickly seated. The staff is always so attentive and ready to help at the drop of a hat. The atmosphere was very homey and not so loud that we couldn't hear each other. It's great for large groups and families. I can't believe we stopped coming here, it's time to book a holiday get together here soon.

Are you a Carnivore? If so, when you visit here it will feel like you've died and gone to Heaven! You'll find the tableside meat service makes for both an interactive and highly enjoyable dining experience :-) The salad bar and the sides here are all excellent, and it's very easy to completely fill up on them without leaving sufficient room for the MEAT - I suggest you pace yourself, as despite the quality of everything, the true highlight of a visit to Texas de Brazil is the incredible variety and quality of flame-grilled meats. All the meats you eat here will be carved fresh at your table - from perfectly seasoned lamb chops to succulent filet mignon and juicy piranha. The flavors and quality of the meats is unmatched. Tip: For optimal enjoyment, I suggest you go in with a plan to enjoy the plethora of meats available while enjoying the sides and salad-bar in moderation. You'll find a card on your table which has two sides - one side that's red (for stop) and the other side that's green (for go). The intent of these signals is o give you a way of telling your servers when you're ready (and not ready) for more meat. Gauchos wander through the dining area regularly carrying plates of meat that they're happy to custom carve to your specification. The dessert here is also good, but you'll probably find it difficult tp have room left over for dessert after you've eaten your fill of the amazing meats, sides, and salad bar :-)

After trying other similar restaurants, Texas de Brazil is way better. They offer more meat with a lot of flavor. The bartender is awesome and makes great cocktails. Service was good. Besides the one guy slamming the mashed potatoes on the table but then he kinda calmed down and realized he did that. He was nicer after. And it's not fair we can't take the left over bread, so it gets thrown out! The horror!!! LOL Anywho can't wait to come back!

Came here with my brother and SIL for dinner. Made a reservation through open table and they called to confirm. I was surprised to see no high chairs at our table since I put it in the reservation notes and they asked about it when they called. We had a gift card and bonus cards to use but unfortunately the fine print said we couldn't use the bonus cards until 1/1 of the following year! Lobster bisque was good as was everything at the salad bar. I thought the chimichurri could have been more acidic. All the meats were very good and my favorites were the picanha, filet minon, spicy sirloin. Chicken is a bit dry. My daughter also enjoyed the variety! Overall a fun experience.

You prepay for your food, seat yourself, and then servers wander around aimlessly checking table receipts with no real system or direction. It's a festival that has vendors ranging from the more arts and crafts end of the spectrum to fine art. There were lots of different categories of art represented, including photography, painting, jewelry, and then of course different forms within each category of art such as oil, paintings, watercolor, etc. There were crafts, including handmade hats, knit and felted items and other textiles and fiber art. There were folks selling soaps, a booth was selling plants and moss art, and a couple booths selling fudge and another selling cookies and baked goods. They had quite a few food trucks as well, at least half a dozen of different types, so a little bit of something for everybody. It was pretty extensive. At first glance when you come through the main entrance, it seems it's just a few booths that they have use their parking lot to host, but it goes all the way towards the back of the building down by the little pond and the grassy area. There were well over 100 artists showcasing their works here. They had a local blacksmith here with an outdoor forge both selling and demoing, and per their booth they also host classes if you are interested in learning how to forge metal here in the suburbs. Inside the art center building, they had cocktails and wine and alcoholic beverages. I believe they also had children's activities, but I'm not sure where those may have been. They had at least two spots with musicians, as we passed by someone playing a steel drum and then in another area saw someone playing the hammered dulcimer as well. Parking--at least this year--was directly across the street at the school district building, though it's possible that's not typical (I thought I saw some reference to construction changing the parking situation). There were Schaumburg police officers directing traffic to allow people to safely cross the road at various intervals. We went early to avoid crowds and to have the easiest time with parking and were successful on both counts, and were here about an hour. I really liked that this art fair is a bit more of a home grown fair and not one of the ones from local production company, since I see some of the same artists at those ones and I like that none of the artists I saw today were familiar.

Well, I went and got the typical scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and a bandanna. While this location offers the same breakfast items as the Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites, at this Garden Inn location, you have to pay $16.80. They had a man go around filling your coffee mug and getting your food, but again, it's the standard free breakfast items you'd find at other Hilton chains, which explains why we met up and got the items ourselves. Needless to say, the next morning, I went to a local place for breakfast and paid less than $10.00. Next, I checked in late Monday and went to Jewel Osco for work items: a case of water and snacks to keep my team focused and uplifted. Well, after returning, I found out that a water main had broken, flooding some lower-level rooms, and that the fire marshal had shut down the elevators. The manager got two staff members to help me with my grocery bags since I was on the third floor. He told me that he could book me into another hotel. Still, if anyone knows anything about the Chicagoland area, the bedbug capital of the US, it is Chicago, followed by Cleveland and Detroit. So, no, without researching, I'm not moving to another hotel. Besides, has anyone read my Embassy Suites review that mentioned black mold being painted over? By Wednesday, the elevator still wasn't working when I checked out. It was a pain bringing down my hug roller bags, computer bag, and tools, but at least I'm not bringing critters with me. The final issue was that the showerhead in the bathroom was pointed directly at the toilet, so the entire floor got soaked and became a slip hazard. Someone obviously didn't think that through! But wait, one more issue, the reading lamp didn't work; that was close to my bed. On a good note, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was clean, so three out of five stars.

My wife and I were in town for our annual June trip to Chicago, and have used this hotel multiple times now. We also used points for my brother and his son's shorter stay. It averaged about 5,000 points (worth about $50) per night, which is about as good as you can get these days. Pluses: -- It's a Hyatt House, which means meant for longer stays. All rooms has a kitchenette, with electric cook tops (along with full set of pots and pans, plates, and utensils), apartment size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, sink. This allowed us to eat-in one night, and could clean up after ourselves. There is also a living area with decent TV, with a sofa for extra space. The AC/heating worked well from a wall mounted thermostat. -- they introduced an omelet station for breakfast (weekdays only), which I took advantage of twice during our stay. A lot of effort was made in preparing the various ingredients (onions, green peppers, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, bacon crumbles, cheese, sausage). It was the best tasting omelet I've ever had a complementary hotel breakfast buffet. They also have the newer auto pancake machines (which we first saw at a Holiday Inn, earlier this month). And for whatever reason, the bagels provided tasted really good. -- We worked with Antonio at the front desk, and he really is great. He actually remembered us from one year ago, and tried his best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Minuses: -- definitely showing it's age, especially in its rooms. Built in 1999, it underwent a renovation in 2015 (making the common spaces really nice), but the rooms not so much. Both rooms had carpet and it had major stains, to the point of the walking areas not feeling 'clean' and having to use sandals to walk around in our room. -- double beds in rooms are rare here. -- as before, the shower pressure is not good. -- the toilet had a leaky valve, resulting in it refilling it's tank abruptly...not a big deal except it would wake us up since it made the noise as if the toilet was being flushed.

Updating from a previous experience…read more We came to celebrate my dad's birthday with a 6:00 PM reservation on a Friday, and I am so glad we did. While my past visit may have varied, this experience was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to our incredible server. To start the night, I ordered the Puttin' on the Spritz, which was absolutely delicious. As someone who is celiac/ gluten-free, navigating group dinners can be stressful, but our server made it seamless. We decided to dine family-style. While there weren't any regular appetizers I could have, the restaurant offers a dedicated GF menu, and our server went above and beyond to accommodate me for the rest of the meal: Salads: Family-style comes with two salads, and the server safely modified both to be gluten-free. Entrees: The family-style option includes four entrees. I ordered the Rigatoni D with GF pasta (the menu explicitly notes they can substitute GF pasta). Our server also had the medallion plate specially made gluten-free. The Delivery: When the food arrived, they brought my GF pasta out separately to avoid cross-contamination and even surprised me with my own dedicated plate of GF Chicken Francese! To top it all off, their crème brûlée is naturally gluten-free, and they brought one out just for me to enjoy for dessert. Our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about gluten allergies, and I deeply appreciated how thoroughly cared for I felt throughout the night. The food was delicious across the board. We will definitely be back!

I held my son's graduation party for 15 guests on Sunday. While the day ended on a positive note…read morethanks to some incredible staff members, the management and initial service were deeply disappointing. Despite having a reservation confirmed three weeks in advance and receiving a confirmation call that same morning, our party was not seated until 4:30 PM for a 4:00 PM booking. My husband and I checked in with the host starting at 3:55 PM, only to receive vague, dismissive responses like 'we're working on it.' Worse, the host displayed an unprofessional attitude, stating 'I have already told you in a few minutes' and was seen talking to other hosts about how upset our group was. When I finally spoke with a manager, Don M., his response was unsettling. Rather than apologizing for the 30-minute delay, he simply told me 'I am not kicking you out,' which felt incredibly unprofessional and dismissive for a milestone celebration. After we were seated, Don M. never returned to check on us or acknowledge the delay. Fortunately, Assistant Manager Luis Martinez and our servers, Marco and Georgina, completely saved the day. Luis came to our table to check on us personally, and Marco and Georgina were excellent, accommodating our large group's orders perfectly. If it weren't for their professional care, I would not return to this location." I truly hope that you consider looking into this matter as I have seen and witnessed how rude and unprofessional the host was yesterday not only to our party but to other guests checking in. It was a busy day for graduation parties and I just hope that they were all treated right. " Our Purpose is to bring people together to celebrate the love of family and friends", which is the main goal of this restaurant which I truly hope that you stand by with".
