    Georgian Red Wine

I felt so fortunate to experience this authentic Georgian feast with a group. Our evening started with cold appetizers, wine and assorted flavored sparkling water beverages. Next came several hot appetizers and then the main course items. Finally dessert was served buffet style and all the while a saxophonist entertained us. The staff was great at providing explanations of the dishes and highlighting their traditions. This is a culture I have never experienced before and I highly recommend making reservations and going with a group to be dazzled. Note that on weekends a dress code is enforced. Gaumarjos!

I've been to the restaurant many times, tried many dishes and I liked everything, it's great that there's live music on Saturdays, but there are so many people that you can't just come and eat, you need to book a table in advance

An establishment of true distinction, offering cuisine of remarkable refinement. The khinkali are exquisitely tender and succulent, the kharcho deeply aromatic, and the roast chicken stirs a sense of fond nostalgia. The Pavlova is inimitable, and the coffee, of uncommon quality, delights with every sip. Service, though in need of greater attentiveness--particularly in promptly providing water and engaging more warmly with guests--remains a detail that will surely improve. A place I find myself wishing to return to often.

HORRIBLE RESTAURANT!!!! On Saturday we celebrated a corporate party with a limit of $150 per person. So I'll tell you, this is the cheapest and worst place to celebrate. The portions are not just small, but so small that there was nothing to eat. We waited about 2 hours for hot dishes!!!! 2 hours before ordering and they knew what was supposed to be on the table. They didn't have time! But this can't happen in a restaurant... they brought the bread for 15 minutes and it was COLD! Completely cold and hard!!!!!!! The dishes were served without utensils, that is, everyone had to take a piece with their own utensils... The food was salty. When they brought the fruit, the strawberries were ROTTEN! They replaced it and it was ROTTEN again! And when I called the manager, after 10 minutes she was waiting for me at the bar!!!!! The manager waits for her to come when I complain!!!!! She can't get up and come! No one cleaned the table until we gave it to them ourselves. You also have to go "to the bar" to pay because they can't come!!!! If you want to have a good time, Aragvi is NOT THE PLACE!!!

I went here with my wife for our anniversary. We have never tried Georgian food before but the waiter was nice and explained the different foods and recommendations. I don't remember the names of what we ate unfortunately but everything was delicious and we enjoyed everything we ate. Highly recommend!

Really liked it. Food was very, very nice. Chicken kebab was the best I have had. The side of the green salad was out of this world. Hachapuri was also amazing. The service was nice, very nice. Decor, ambience, the whole atmosphere are awesome too. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

It's atmospheric, beautiful, and the food is extremely tasty. And here are the best Adjarian khachapuri, which my daughter loves. Bravo Aragvi

This is our first time trying cuisine from Georgia- the country, not the state. It was delicious! The restaurant is new, modern and beautiful- great for large parties. We especially enjoyed the Phali Mix, Adjarian Khachapuri, and the Chicken Shish Kebabs with mashed potatoes. Our waiter was helpful and efficient. Highly recommend!

Meat pie? Not sure what else to call it. - A round plate holds a traditional Georgian khachapuri with a golden-brown crust and melted cheese inside, partially sliced.

Patina Wine Bar - Lava cake dessert. Was perfect

It's very peaceful, romantic and a calm atmosphere. All of the food was delicious. The plating is so attractive! The dishes have great flavor but are healthier options. The portion sizes were perfect for what we desired. I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best branzino I've ever had. The skin was crunchy and delicious. But the fish was not dry at all! There's nothing better than a juicy branzino fish and chef Jose nailed it! Matching with the sauce and beans was so much better than any other veggies or starch. The octopus was also cooked to perfection. The flavor and temperature was just right. Not too hot and such a great texture. We don't always order desserts but we had to see every course of the menu. We decided to go with a lava cake and it did not disappoint. It had that perfect contrast of hot and cold but it's served with gelato which gives it a nice touch of texture compared to standard ice cream. Chef Jose came out and introduced himself. We came in because we were enticed by a beef tartare that was on their menu in the past. We're hoping he brings it back on a special sometime soon. He said to give him a call and he'll try to accommodate whenever possible to make his customers happy. What an amazing restaurant. We cannot wait to come back and see what's new. Thank you for an amazing dinner and night!

The vibe here definitely meets a park ridge niche that nothing else does - intimate but elevated, a great date night place. Excellent cocktails and decent portions. Tuna tower was a fun app and we ordered lamb chops and a pasta for our mains. My only wish is that they had a slightly larger menu. I hope they add to it or do seasonal offerings because the selection is not too large and we pretty much maxed out what we'd be interested in trying in one visit. But they did it well and we enjoyed the Valentine's Day touched around the restaurant!

As this was just down the street from our office in the Kemper Business District, she thought this would be a cool place to hang out to recap the year for our department and she was right. The place itself is a cute house with what looks like a cool outdoor space, when the weather is nicer. Inside is a small bar when you first walk through the front door. We we seated in a small room off from the main bar, next to a lovely fireplace. We started out with charcuterie boards. Prices range from 4 pieces for $30, 6 pieces for $46 and 8 pieces for $58. The selection of meats and cheeses and were very nice, but the prices seemed steep. The cheeses and meats were as follows: Wooley Rind (Green Dirt Farm) - soft ripened sheep's milk MontAmore (Sartori) - semi firm Italian style Cheddar Goat Gouda (Central Coast Creamery) - crumbly aged goat cheese "Creamy Sexy Blue" - German triple cream cow's milk with blue veining Jamon Serrano, aged 24 months Stagberry - Elk Salami with dried blueberries Finocchiona - Tuscan style salami with fennel seed Pig & Fig Terrine - Country style pork pate with dried figs, cinnamon, ginger All were very good and had a lovely flavor. Due to the number of people nibbling, I asked for extra bread and was treated with toasted sourdough, which was very nice. For dinner, I got the Chicken Tinga Panini (Tomato-Chipotle Chicken, Queso Oaxaca, Arugula, served with Salsa Verde & Guacamole). This was a very good sandwich. I loved the idea of Chicken Tinga in a sandwich format, and it worked. I had saved half of it to take home to have for breakfast the next day, but got wrapped up in good-byes and walked out and left it. Man I was mad! My manager ordered the Roasted Beets (with whipped Feta cheese, toasted pistachios, red onion, dill and a red wine vinaigrette). The serving was huge! She loves beets and said that the dish was very good A few people got the Broccoli Cheddar soup and said it was very good. I wanted to try the oysters as I love East Coast ones, but at $20 for 6, couldn't wrap my mind around that. The wine list was pretty good and on this particular night, we got bottles for a crazy low price. My manager got a bottle of red (can't remember the name) that was $75, but she got it for half price. Same for me for a lovely bottle of sparkling rose. The hostess had a list of wines on her tablet that she showed us as well that were 50% off. The location is quite a drive from Chicago, but the times I have to go to Lake Zurich for team meetings, I may just stop in to camp out for eats and drinks while waiting for my Uber and rush hour traffic to die out.

This was a spur-of-the-moment choice but ended up being very fun for drinks and dinner!…read more I LOVE tiki bars and my husband noticed this one in the area near where we happened to be on Google maps, so off we went! We had about a 15 minute wait for a table but it gave us time to peruse the menu in the car. They offer many classic tiki cocktails, a page full of seasonal drinks, a page of "Designated Driver" mocktails (nice to have an option for something other than just a Shirley Temple!), Polynesian appetizers and entrees, and then Lola's Pizza. For drinks, I got the seasonal Gingerbread Painkiller and my husband got a Green Flash mocktail. (Pro tip on the seasonal drinks: check the regular cocktail menu to see how many skull and crossbones are listed under the regular version of your drink, if applicable, to see if it's a super strong one!) Mine was creamy and spicy but quite powerful. Props to our waitress, Makayla, who checked if anyone at the table was epileptic, because normally the "flash" part of my husband's drink is a strobing LED ice cube; I actually am photosensitive, so it came in the drink in non-strobe mode and just glowed an alien green. She said this was the first time it had actually paid off to ask, but I'm glad she did! The food was tasty: I ordered rumaki, an old-school appetizer of bacon-wrapped water chestnuts that you don't see very often these days, and he got loaded fries. We also got a small Lola's Pizza, which was very good, with a crisp but also chewy crust. The atmosphere here is pure tiki, with a fountain, swag lamps, bamboo, and Hawaiian-influenced Christmas music playing for the season. Lots of big groups here; everyone seemed to be having as good a time as we were! What a laid-back gem in Arlington Heights! We'll be back. Mahalo!
