I checked in 2:30 PM and they were open. I called. I had to check because it is off-season. Beautiful location overseeing the surf and the Atlantic Ocean Beach. Nice and cozy atmosphere inside nice selection on menu. Food was delicious. I tried the lobster tail and it was really good along with their bread.

Burger, fries and smash sauce. Pickled green beans too!

On a recent first time visit to York, we debated several spots and landed here for a short initial wait on a Saturday night in late September. Super glad we waited. Staff was great, drinks and food came out quickly, open garage doors in front allowed beach front feel with a relaxed vibe. The food was excellent. Haddock tacos, burger and chicken sandwich were the best any of us can remember. Fries were lit, beer was cold and cider margarita was worth the trip. Overall, I would tell folks visiting this area, especially off-season, to 'run not walk' to this place for great food, chill vibe and good service.

Came from California to have Maine Lobster in Maine and this is the first place we ended up trying Maine lobster. It was delicious and better than expected because it was cooked warm and not cold. It had buttery melt in your mouth texture. Definitely worth getting at this place. It was nice that it came with corn and fries but would have been better to get more lobster without those extra sides lol. The crab cakes were yummy and had a unique flavor it wasn't your average crab cakes. The tuna crispy rice bites were just what I wanted excellent flavors! My husband got the chick a pea burger and it was good but a bit too mushy for a patty. It was falling off the bun. Overall the meal was very good and exquisite. The fries were good as well. I wish I lived close by and can afford to eat here all the time since the food is that good. Highly recommend this place!

We were hoping to catch the sunset but of course we were rained out so we went to eat instead! Sat outside, of course. Staff was super nice and attentive. Coke products! The fried shrimp with the Buffalo was yummy, I like the sauce on the side. Spicy peanut chicken wings were cooked nicely and had great flavor. Wedge salad with a Thai flair was surprisingly good as well! We got lucky with the weather, it was slow. On a nice day I bet you'd wait at least a fat 45.

They serve up lobster rolls (mayo or buttered), fried belly clams (& rolls), crab rolls, smoked brisket brats, chicken fingers, lobster stew, lobster dip, lobster ABLT, chips, cookies, H-Jays frozen custard, soft drinks, lemonade and iced tea. At the time of this posting, their website was still under construction and they will be offering DoorDash delivery. There are picnic tables in front of the trailer. After an appointment nearby, I stopped by the Trapped in York Maine food trailer. I decided to order a Small Trapped Meal ($24 plus tax) with a Small Lobster Roll, bag of Cape Cod Sea Salt Chips, watermelon cubes, 2 homemade Maine spice cookies, and a fresh lemonade. My order was prepared to order in about 8 minutes. I enjoyed my food outside. The Lobster Roll (3 oz of knuckle & claw meat in mayo) on a toasted New England hot dog roll. The watermelon and chips were good sides for the Maine style lobster roll. The 2 homemade sweet Maine spice cookies were soft and chewy. The iced lemonade was refreshing, as I enjoyed the rest in the ride after finishing my meal.

I was excited to find out that they are in fact open on Sundays- so Yelp is wrong about that. I got the large which is 6 oz on a hot buttered brioche roll, which can be served cold with just mayo, or warm with butter. I opted for the latter. It was DELICIOUS - more tail than claw- which made me extra happy!! The service was outstanding, I believe the owner was there- but the young lady was also quite sweet. They answered all my questions, both on the phone, and in person. I also ordered the haddock and fries for tomorrow- but of course I tried it. So tender and flaky!! Their fries are hand cut, and have both sweet potatoes and regular potatoes. So good! Lunch is going to be great tomorrow! The place is a yellow food truck, so seating is casual at picnic tables. It is quite lovely! I was hungry- so I had already taken a few bits of my lobster roll- sorry about that haha

So I looked them up and saw the adult happy meal on the menu and knew I had to try them. An hour and half drive was 100000% worth it!!! The entire building is small but feels very inviting and comfortable. The atmosphere is iconic with out of this world 90s cartoons painted on the walls. Even the bathroom had a touch of this nostalgia and whimsy (trust me look in the bathroom mirror for an amazing little touch). The staff were equally amazing and truly wonderful. I am currently pregnant and being very careful about what I eat so my husband asked the bartender/waiter if the feta is pasteurized. Most people would have simply said I don't know and moved on but this fellow went and asked the kitchen if the feta is pasteurized (it is). It's little things like that that make us want to go back. Now on to the star the food and drink! We had the soft pretzel which comes with beer cheese and stone ground honey mustard and the fried feta. The pretzel was great and the beer cheese was also great but the feta was indescribable. Every aspect of the feta was perfect and a true umami experience. I got the adult happy meal (a smash burger, chicken nuggets, and fries). It also comes with a toy which is just cherry on top status. The burger was fantastic BUT the fries and nuggets were crazy good. My husband got Flo's Double Burger and he had eaten half of it before I got mine out of the box. He would have eaten two of them if he wasn't so full! He also got the I gotta say... today was a good day sour ale. He loved it and enjoyed it enough we left with a four pack! This is the perfect Maine hidden gem and we will be back soon!

First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!
