I liked it, but thin crust isn't necessarily my favorite. My wife loved the light sauce she always complains that people put too much sauce on the pizza, me, I could use a straw to drink it and it wouldn't bother me. . I'd love to try some of their other menu items so next time that's my plan. I'd eat there again and I'd even eat the pizza if I was in the mood for thin crust.

I make sure to stop at the 3rd Street location in Neptune Beach whenever I'm out that way. I must admit, I've tried a few different types of pizza from there but always go back to the BLT Pizza! It's a tasty, unique treat that is only carried by Al's in this area. Now for the good part! The usual red sauce is subsituted for a mayo base, which perfectly mimics a real BLT sandwich! The toppings consist of mayo, bacon, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and red cabbage. The hand-tossed gourmet crust is frequently praised for being cooked to a perfect, toasty texture that handles the heavy toppings without getting soggy. Sounds like a weird combination but it totally works (don't knock it until you've tried it)! Over the years, it's gotten a little pricey. Current pricing for a 10" - $17; 14" - $25; 16" - $28. I typically stick with the 10", which is more than enough for me. There's ample indoor seating, and for those who like to sit outside - patio seating facing 3rd Street. Servers are friendly and accommodating; and the facilities and restrooms are clean so no complaints there. So if you're ever in the area of one of the five locations, be sure to stop in and try the BLT Pizza. You'll thank me later!
