I reached out to Stonehenge when I was getting close to selling my house and the contractor I had was doing subpar work. Bryan basically swooped in and saved my butt. I was trying to work it out long distance; Stonehenge was a perfect choice because I just left everything up to him. It was completely painless and the work was done by my deadline, to a very high standard. He uses a program that lays out a very detailed schedule you can follow online, watching as action items get addressed and all the notes that spell out what the issues are and every day's progress. I've never seen such careful and detailed progress reports; it laid all my concerns to rest, as everything they did was visible with photos and written details. His design work was much appreciated, as I did not have time or interest in spending time on that. The results were stunning! He and his crew bring superior craftsmanship and attention to detail to all their tilework. He also offered to re-do some poorly done woodwork that he noticed (I was unaware of it, but he sent me pics and I was grateful he brought it to my attention). The estimate portion was very transparent and was almost exactly what it ended up being at the end; that's never happened in my experience! His crew laid down cardboard, plastic, and doorjamb protection so that the new carpet and paint job were left in brand new condition. My ring doorbell indicated that they came on time or early every day, and worked full days to get it all done on schedule. That's also unusual in my experience. I was actually able to enjoy and be excited about the bathroom and shower remodels because Bryan and his crew were so reliable, easy to communicate with, and honest and upfront with all pricing and schedule details. Any concern I had I put in texts, and he always responded within 24 hours, usually much quicker. That did so much to relieve any anxiety I had about whether the work would get done on time. Ultimately I feel like I got much more for the money than I could have gotten with any other company, and was thrilled with the results. We had a wall leak that required a partial demolition and rebuild of our walk-in tile shower for our master bathroom. Bryan personally oversaw the project from start to finish. He always did well in setting expectations of what's next which was a bit of a challenge during the pandemic which caused constraints on his resources. They gave clear and accurate explanations on what needed to be done and alternative solutions if there were issues. Jenn was super helpful in navigating through the tile selection process. The design team was quite talented with great ideas for tile choices. Their mockups of the shower really helped in the decision making process. His team arrived when they said they would and sometimes would even arrive early. Their work was of great quality and they were very professional and respectful when they were in our home. Bryan and his crew at Stonehenge Custom Tile really delivered on repair and remodel of our master bathroom. The original tiled shower had developed a slow leak that damaged the subfloor and some joists. We had no idea how extensive the damage, but in the worst spot we had broken through the floor. Sugar ants took advantage and nested in the rot for several seasons until we got them properly handled with gel bait. Stonehenge handled the demolition and damage inspection very well. It's a second floor bathroom, so they had to be careful to reveal, remove and treat all the rot. Some secondary or unrelated moisture damage was discovered, and Bryan took several days to troubleshoot and treat that area. With everything torn apart, we had a blank slate to remodel. Bryan gave us free rein to pick materials and fixtures, offering practical suggestions and aesthetic opinions when needed. We got to direct the design as much as we wanted with his professional experience to guide us. When the floor tile arrived , it wasn't like we expected from the sample. Bryan and Jenn immediately worked on the return, got us new full-sized samples, and helped with choices, pricing and last minute stock availability problems. This could've caused delay and aggravation for us and Stonehenge, but it got handled, tiles got delivered and we stayed on schedule. The new subfloor and waterproofing are impressive. Bryan is focused on doing things right to make it last. Bryan coordinated the tile work to get our vanity installed and fitted with a custom granite top, and he adapted the tile wainscot to incorporate the vanity, an unusual sink design, and the existing outlets. At our request, he tiled into the window box, so it was a design feature and made a wet-resistant shelf for the shower area. His attention to tile layout was awesome. He even made a custom door threshold out of our scrap hickory to match the hardwoods on the rest of the upstairs. Our shower fixtures came from a British distributor, which wasn't a great choice. Plumbing conventions are different and parts aren't available. Bryan and his plumber didn't miss a beat. The main shower went in well, after a replacement seal arrived just in time. The handheld shower was a challenge, but it got solved in no time really. We love the new bathroom. Stonehenge made it happen like we wanted. They were always courteous and friendly. Communication was frequent and excellent. You'll be glad to do business with these North Kitsap locals. read more

I would give them zero Stars. As of today my Reno is far from being completed. I was told by Bryan this job would be done November 11 giving me plenty of time to prepare for Thanksgiving with my new bedroom and bathroom. Unfortunately this is not the case it is still not done and I didn't even want to do this project just because of how close it was being to Thanksgiving but Brian assured me it would be done. Absolutely! You told me no worries you don't have to worry it'll completely be done by then. Well about Brian he has an excuse for everything.... It's always somebody else's fault how we cannot get confident people to work I've heard it all. The crew is supposed to be here this morning at 8:00 p.m. it is now 12:10 no call no show I have no idea if they're going to show up. I guess professionalism is something they don't abide by. Oh and also I ordered a custom shower doors at least 4 months ago and guess what Brian forgot to order it yes he just forgot is what he said sorry.... So I have to wait another 6 to 8 weeks for the shower door now thank you Brian. Trust me do not go to this place you will regret it. I am so ready to be done with these people and never darken their doorstep again. Please double check before you sign up with them do not. I so regret it and wish I had never ever done this project. And as I stated no call no show I got up had the house open for them to be here at 8:00 and they respectfully do not even text me anything at all. So very done with them. read more

After spending over $80,000 with these guys, you would think I could get a return phone call. One of our tiles is loose now, and I was hoping to get a response from Bryan. I have left two messages with his company and at least four messages on his cell phone. I am happy with the job they did - but the follow up service is non-existent. read more

I had a catastrophic leak in my master bathroom. Bryan came to investigate, quickly sent me an estimate and we set up a time to begin the project. Bryan and Jen were extremely helpful as i had several decisions to make - offered advice but never any pressure. When it came time to begin the project my doorbell rang exactly on time and his professional crew came in and began working. They were extremely careful about keeping the mess at a minimum, worked diligently, and cleaned up at the end of everyday so my living space was minimally disrupted. Every worker was a skilled craftsman and pleasant to have in my home. The work was meticulous and precise. Stonehenge Custom Tile and Home did an immaculate job on the complete remodel of our master bathroom. It was a unique project, which included retaining, bathroom entrance, closet entrance and toilet placement. It also included gutting the existing shower bath and toilet room completely. The bath, shower and door less shower are one of a kind! Through their personalized estimate, design, product selection and easy to track billing systems it was evident that they were experienced and consummate professionals. The crew were also of the best ilk. The crew and subtractors, hired for the plumbing, made all of the craftsman I worked with for home remodeling in the past look like rookies. Bryan, Jenn and their team were easy to talk, any and all changes we wanted were incorporated seamlessly into their project timeline, with the exception of COVID and they were always attentive to our outlandish wants. As always, communication is key to any successful mission and they communicated in an almost precognitive manner, foreseeing any time or product delays and informing us about them early. Timelines only moved to the right because of COVID, even with shipping delays, and the Stonehenge team completed the job under budget, above our expectations and at lower estimates than any other local contractor! We had Bryan out in October and November to redo two of the bathrooms in our house. It was a huge job -- floors, a tub surround, shower surround and a custom shower pan. He did a great job with everything, especially since we had some fancier tile layouts. He also did a great job lining up those layouts to look great with our shower insets and the accent stripe. Right now, we're starting a new project to get tile in to replace the carpet in our bsaement rec room after a water leak, and Bryan was the first guy we thought of to get the job done right read more

Having worked with some of the larger tile guys in the area I'd put Bryan above the rest when it comes to craftsmanship. Both projects were scheduled and completed quickly. Owner Brian Shorten's knowledge and expertise in design, demolition and reconstruction made two bathroom remodels a breeze and he communicated every step that would occur at a very fair price. Bryan is amazing and everything you would want in a tile contractor. He listens, gives good advice, is artistic, is realistic and tells you the truth about your project. He does what he says he'll do and he stays within the $$$ he's quoted you. He arrives on time and cleans up after. My only disappointment was when the project was over because he was so pleasant to have around! The tile around my new fireplace is gorgeous and beautifully installed.
