Selling my condo so had to update both kitchen, bath and separate vanity cabinets and countertops…read more I went to all the usual companies for quotes (Sanyuan, GS, A1, Pius etc) and made a crazy spreadsheet comparing them. 1st Ave came in second cheapest (GS was the cheapest). I decided to go with 1st Ave because they were very responsive on the phone and email, and they were able to do the work faster than GS. I also really liked that the people at 1st Ave weren't pushy like at they were at some of the other companies. They came though with all they promised to do - called me when they were on the way to the job site, installed everything so all cabinets and drawers lined up and worked flawlessly, cut the quartz offsite and came back to install countertops, and cleaned up after themselves. I have been recommending them to friends and neighbours, and I would most definitely use them again.

Need new top quality shaker kitchen cabinets for pickup ASAP?…read more We had a house flood and after days of ridiculous quotes from competitors and cabinet makers we were referred to Pius by other cabinet companies. We bought unbuilt cabinets and had a contractor family/friends do the install. they look awesome. Sophie at Pius actually drew out the cabinet plans and they came out amazing. My only negative (which doesn't effect their rating for me) is that the pick up process from their warehouse is annoying - they have one worker processing the pickups who was very unprofessional. nonetheless, can't wait to use them again.

We walked in and were immediately greeted by Shannon. We walked around the floor and were checked on quite frequently- all of the staff were very engaging and quite lovely actually. We had specific questions and Shannon actually called the manufacturer to check directly for us. The Manager Bud was quite funny and took the edge off of our intense conversation (between myself and my husband) rather humorously a time or two. There was one point Bud was giving a tour to three different parties showing us all where we needed to be. The transaction was seamless - which is a beautiful thing! My thoughts have changed on Ferguson Home on 1st. If you've gone before and weren't super impressed- try them again, it's worth the trip! Shannon, I think the standing desk at the front is a brilliant idea! You immediately made eye contact and had a warm smile. The last time we were there, we weren't acknowledged for a really long time. You and your "assistant" made our day today! Thank you so much - Tracy and Mitch

This is the cheapest place in Seattle that I have found for granite and quartz, BUT buyer beware…read more If you know how to cut, handle, seam, and polish edges, then this place is a good deal for you. If this is your 1st time buying or installing stone do not step into these waters. If you choose to ignore that advice, you do so at your own financial peril. I have been buying granite here for 11 years. Twice my order has both been cut correctly and ready when I showed up. Seriously, 2 times out of maybe 20. You have to measure your stone before it is loaded, inspect corners and edges. There have been a few times when I provided a template and the cuts we still off. MEASURE BEFORE YOU LEAVE. If it is wrong and you leave, they will not fix and you will not get a refund or credit. Will not. As stated, stone prices are cheap, there is little to no haggle room on the stone, but they make their profit in fabrication: the cuts. Be aware of that when you are discussing cost. There is also wide margin on their sinks, fixtures and cabinets - especially vanities. The cabinets are plywood flat packs and quality is in line with IKEA. I would advise against a cabinet purchase here, but I am a cabinet maker so I am by nature bias. They put gas the glue for a couple weeks and some people hate that smell. In summary: cheaply priced, but quality stone, zero customer service during or after the sale, and it is on you to make sure it is all correct.

The installation team was so kind and cleaned up after themselves each day. We love our new countertops and kitchen island. It made me a bit weary at first but they really came through in their execution. I would buy from them again and would recommend in a heartbeat.

We even went back and confirmed the situation with management, so we expected there would be some effort to make things right. We then asked if we could make an offer on a sink and cabinet, but our offer was clearly refused despite the negative experience we had just gone through. Instead, we were simply told to wait until 9/19 sale. When I asked if they could at least put the cabinet on hold until 9/19, they refused to hold it because there's only a 24 hour hold. At that point, the whole situation felt pretty pointless. Unfortunately, based on our experience, if you put an item on hold here, there doesn't seem to be much confidence that it will actually be held for you. I hope management can take a closer look at how holds and customer concerns are handled.
