The Internet tells me it's been in the "new" location since 2019. =) We left the mountain early on a day when ski conditions were pretty bad even on the way-out trails that sometimes have some powder on them even when nothing else does. We're lucky to have a lot of good ski days in our year and didn't feel obligated to ski in such awful conditions. Ordered a large pizza for pickup in 20 minutes around lunch time and were told that the place gets slammed around this time of day, at this time of year. After puttering about Sugarbush Village for a bit we realized we were in the wrong place and drove to the "new" location at almost exactly the 20 minute marker for pickup. The pizza was just as we fondly remembered: a great balance of oregano-forward sauce and not-overly-high-brow mozzarella, and a generous amount of pepperoni / toppings on a slightly more cracker-like crust than NYC-style pizzas. My family of pizza snobs likes, but does not rave about, this place.

The Caesar salad was a large serving that we shared, was creatively made, and delish. We ordered 3 pizzas, wonderful crust and toppings. The Tillerman is located about 5 minutes from downtown Bristol. The restaurant is inside an inn that is popular for their outdoor weddings. +++. Ambiance is idillic Vermont farm inn. We sat in an intimate nook with a view of their front garden. +++. Food is new American and pizze. Interesting, creative and insanely delicious cuisine. +++ beef tartare - first tartare I've consumed more than a bite! +. Shrimp skewer- perfect temp but a little fishy for me. Others liked it though ++. Green salad - loved the presentation and tasty. Though flavorful, some bread crumbs were gravelly. Will skip bread crumbs next time. +++. Funghi pizza - fragrant blue oyster mushrooms on thin sourdough (they use a mix of several flours) crust. Though the bread crumbs are reminiscent of bacon bits, will skip it next time. They have large parking lot so we parked and head on over to the entrance. It's amazing large establishment with wooden lodge style interiors and some outside patio seatings as well. They have a huge stone furnace for the pizza. We were sat down right away as it wasn't too busy. We got the pick two lunch where you can choose 2 between soup, salad and mini flatbread. I ended up picking vermont maple sausage flatbread and soup. Soup was tomato base with some cheese. Strong tomato flavor and some acidity with saltiness of cheese coming through. It was good but maybe a little bit of cream or milk might balanced it out better. The pizza was pretty good. Can see the char from wood fire. Saltiness of cheese and hint of sweetness and savoriness from maple sausage pairs well together. Dough was bice and chewy and crispy on the crust Service was good and server was nice and attentive. Overall it's a solid place to enjoy wood fired pizza made with local ingredients. Good place for lunch or dinner. If you go for lunch Monday through Thursday the take two lunch option is a good value.
