Food in this area is very sparse, so we tried this on a whim. Food was tasty overall. I got the special- chicken Caesar wrap with French fries. The service was good. A friend was at our table who has a lot of dietary needs (gluten, dairy, and soy) and she struggled to find something on the menu, so fyi for others with that issue. On our way to Cape May NJ & not wanting to stop at a rest stop we found this place & glad we did. It's a sports bar with a dining-room. Clean and nicely lit. The service was excellent, from the hostess to the server. The food was tasty and prepared to order. I had the chicken sliders with sweet potato fries and hubby had the short-rib cheesesteak with shoestring fries. He really enjoyed his meal. I did too but my fries needed an extra minute or two in the frier and the chicken was small and they are already sliders so the chicken should be the size of the bun, but in all fairness everything was very tasty and fresh. read more

We sat outside immediately (we have a large stroller and we fit perfectly fine) & our waitress Madison was attentive and friendly. We ordered Caesar salad and mozzarella pops to start. We were a birthday party of 14. The food for the most part was fair to good with only one entree and one appetizer rated as very good by 2 of us. Personally, for me, I started with a bowl of French onion soup. It was horrible. I can honestly say that it was the worst I have ever had. Any time French onion soup is on the menu, I order it. I sampled some of the other appetizers; except for the broccoli which was very good, they were at best just average. Presentation was good but the taste did it an injustice. I had a smash burger with asparagus for my entree. The burger was very good but the asparagus were under cooked and tough. For desert, I ordered crème brulee. The sugar topping was very thin and provided minimum crunch. The custard was not chilled enough as it was still partially liquid. Very unappetizing. The ambiance was really good except when anyone went to the restroom, they had to walk past our table. I do not consider this as a negative, just a comment. The best part of the entire experience was the staff. They were all very friendly and each of them took the opportunity to wish my wife a happy birthday. I really appreciated that. Our server, Judy, rates a 10 all by herself. She was outstanding and went out of her way in seeing to the desires of each and every one of us. This young lady, by herself, raised the grade I give this restaurant. Will I give the Stone Fire Grille a second chance? Probably not. read more

Their food is very good and the staff are super friendly, especially at the bar, namely Tía..una camarera muy simpática y servicial. I asked for a beer menu, No, she replied and began to recite. No craft beer???.....so I ordered a Johnny Walker Black. Then I yearned for a Philly Cheesesteak, SOME COMBO, huh? The sandwich was great with pickles and fries. The jalapeños kicked it up a notch. They have a variety of food from snacks to full entrees. Big parking lot, clean restrooms, good music capped off a nice evening. I'm pretty sure there was an entire 1/2 a chicken on my plate. The fried parts were crispy and salty and delicious. The Mac & Cheese offset that really well. The meat was not dry. Simply...awesome. My husband had the Ahi tacos with sweet potato fries. The portions of tuna in the tacos was impressive! And they seasoned the tuna extremely well. They did not rely on the sauce to carry the flavor for the taco. Hubby says the only thing they could do to improve, would be to add salsa. But he's a hothead. So. There's that. He also usually doesn't eat the fries, even when he orders them. However, this time, he ate ALL the sweet potato fries. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The seasoning went very well with the meal. Our server, Tyler, was prompt and definitely made sure we had what we needed throughout the meal. My husband and I met my mother and father here today at 1 pm. When we entered the girl asked us if we had a reservation...no one was in the restaurant. 3 tables and about 6 people at the bar. Service was awful-slow with no check backs. Our shared truffle Mac and cheese came out cold 2 times (yes I walked it up to the bar and returned it and it came out cold again) and was served with my fathers soup AND his main course at the same time . Then my husband's wings came 10 minutes later. Then my sandwich and mom's salad 15 minutes after the server came back and asked if we needed anything else. Food was mediocre at best and we spent $100.00 on lunch. Never again. Roy Rogers is right down the road and is better. read more

Excellent food. We did a takeout order but the food was still excellent. My boyfriend got the Beachwood Burger and I got the Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was to die for. It's such a simple dish but man does this place do it well. The burger was so good that I had to make room for a couple bites, much to my boyfriend's delight (NOT!). Stone Fire has been renovated and is a big improvement over the somewhat seedy bar that used to be there at its location. Girls seem to like it because it's a bar without being a sports bar, so it's a good place to bring a girl on a date to. They have some interesting things on the menu. But the beer is not outstanding, and it's not really a place for a guy to hang out at after work. In summary: an independently owned restaurant with a bar with a clean, renovated look that appeals mostly to women and to many men, too. read more
