The back patio was 1970s looking brown pebble tec around the pool and patio area (which was fading and coming loose), and the side driveway was painted concrete which got super slippery in the rain. I wanted something textured that my kids wouldn't slip on, and I wanted to tie the whole house together with one uniform coating. Their crew worked really hard for us, and they really paid attention to detail. The painters were super neat, and the guys doing the coating were meticulous. It was a really big job, and it took a while to complete, but they kept at it and did it right. They've even come back a couple times to fix some little things that I messed up, or that happened through normal wear and tear. I will attach some before and after pics if I can find them, but in the meantime if you're considering resurfacing a patio, driveway, or other area, call these guys first. They'll take care of you.

He did a couple of computerized renderings of our front yard, and we compared his ideas to my drawings, and wow, almost identical. The entire project took a mere 5 days. Even the neighbors were impressed especially with the high quality work. We had the entire front yard revamped and the driveway went from 2 car parking to 3 car parking with the walkways going from 3' to 6' with a new 6' walkway going from the house to the sidewalk. We reused all the existing plants we had, which saved us a bundle and look awesome in their new homes. Stephen had the crew run electrical conduit in case we changed our minds on path lighting. Good call! We changed our minds! So after the project was finished Stephen himself came out and put in the path lighting himself. After all said and done, I noticed that we had a problem with the sprinkler line under the side walk missing dirt. I texted Stephen and he immediately jumped into action to get the issue fix. We hired him for a major project involving both porcelain pavers and porcelain tile, and from beginning to end, his service was absolutely exceptional. His pricing was very fair, but even more importantly, the level of service he provided was priceless. John is one of those rare people you simply don't come across very often anymore. He was always respectful, kind, patient, honest, and available whenever I had a question or concern. No matter what came up, his response was always some version of, "No problem, I'll take care of it." And he meant it. At one point, I chose to have part of the porcelain tile installed in a herringbone pattern. Halfway through the installation, I changed my mind. This could have been a frustrating situation for any contractor, but John never made me feel bad about it. He simply told me not to worry and that he would take care of it. That was his attitude throughout the entire project. Whether it was something I changed, something I didn't understand, or an unexpected issue, he always took the time to explain everything, educate me on what to expect, and find a solution. What impressed me even more were all of the things John did that weren't even part of his job. He set up a watering system for me that I hadn't paid him to do. When I had thousand-pound limestone planters delivered, he helped drill drainage holes in the bottoms and even helped lift and move them into place. None of that was his responsibility, and he wasn't being paid for it. He helped simply because that is the kind of person he is. After dealing with some extremely disappointing and dishonest contractors over the past year, working with John was a breath of fresh air. He is honest to the bone, incredibly knowledgeable, meticulous, dependable, and a true problem solver. In all my years of doing projects, this was probably the smoothest and most enjoyable experience I've ever had. It may sound strange to say about a contractor, but I genuinely enjoyed seeing John throughout the project. He always had time to talk, answer questions, and make sure I was happy with everything. Now that the project is finished, I will actually miss our interactions. And just as importantly, his entire crew lived up to the same high standards. They were professional, respectful, hardworking, and took tremendous pride in their work. They simply don't make guys like John anymore. I removed my in-ground spa and used Hector to clean my bricks, cut them, installed rebar, place and grouted the bricks. He also removed the plastic junk my patio cover people placed in my old patio cover post holes and installed rebar all on day one. Poured the concrete and continued my salt finish on day two. Today he came and swept up the salt, hosed it down and see the results! I had spoken to several handymen who didn't want to do this job as well as got a bid from another masonry company with a price I was shocked with who was recommended to me. I found and contacted Hector through Yelp, got his estimate which was a price I could afford as a newly retired person. It's beautiful! I'm so happy!
