Was wildly professional! Started our job in less than 24 hours, over-delivered in their craftsmanship, finished ahead of schedule, fairly priced, very communicative and made the entire front/side yard re-fab as painless as possible. Truly recommend! DM if you'd like more details. read more

Put in concrete on my side yards. Excellent work. Assessed what was needed to do the job right after they removed the weeds, e.g. consideration of electrical and drainage and sewer lines. Doing the job right and when promised was important to me. read more

They did an amazing concrete job! Great pricing and very communicative. I would recommend them.

Last month, Steve and his team repaired our paver patio that was lifting from tree roots along with other revisions and repairs. Steve is licensed and insured, was friendly, easy to reach and work with, and fairly priced. He was onsite managing the job every day and his team was professional, worked hard and had skills and experience. They left everything clean each day, did a great job and they were so fast. Everything you wish for in a contractor. We feel so fortunate to have found Steve, are looking forward to working with him again and highly recommend him! read more

Steve did a fantastic job landscaping the back yard on my property. I had a hillside slope overgrown with ivy. He and his crew killed the ivy, removed the roots and provided me many options to consider for the new ground cover. The slope was replanted with Myoporum. Along the way they removed two eyesore Yucca's and added new stepping stones, decorative rock and a custom wood border to what was an old tired looking back patio area. Now it shines. Steve was great to work with and I strongly recommend his services. I am sure you will be happy you did! read more

Steve and his team did an amazing job installing sprinklers and automated/WiFi enabled timers at our house in Newport Beach. Very fair price and high quality work. Team was very professional and easy to work with. On time, on schedule, and on budget. I highly recommend Advanced Pacific Landscape. read more

Exceptional. Steve and his team are professional and courteous. Fair price and quality materials.

Steve and company did a fantastic job on our two concrete jobs. He was very friendly and communicative. He was reliable, responsive, and he and his team did a great job with the actual work and cleaning up after the work was done. His work was even praised by another contractor who came by for a separate job. Highly recommend. read more

I hired them to demo 700 ft.² of old concrete, grade and pour a fresh 1200 ft.² stamped concrete patio, with additional drainage. The whole project went well. The owner of the business, Steve, is a truly nice guy, someone you can have candid discussions with. He is happy to brainstorm, exchange ideas, and is willing to accommodate changes. He is exceptionally responsive to phone calls and text messages, communicates well and keeps you up-to-date on progress. His charges are reasonable and, unlike many contractors, he respects California law when it comes to contractors not being entitled to prepayment before they actually do the work. Steve's concrete crew are also great guys. They are clearly experienced, attentive to detail, arrive on time, respectful of my property and leave the work site clean at the end of each day. They have a good sense of humor. Steve himself is routinely on site at least twice daily and at all necessary times. Overall, I felt that I was in good hands throughout. My project started on time and would've finished on time if not for the unusually wet weather which repeatedly delayed the concrete pour until the ground was in suitable condition. But as soon as the weather cleared, the project was completed. One of my neighbours recommended Steve to me, and I'm glad she did. I would definitely recommend him to others. I can't imagine finding a better guy to do landscaping projects. read more

If you are looking for a landscaper, call Steve Shaw with Advanced Pacific Landscape. Steve and his team did a great job installing a wall on our slope, planting all new privacy bushes, plants and sod. They rerouted our irrigation and replaced sprinklers. Steve communicated throughly throughout the whole process and showed up every time he said they would. They cleaned up after they were finished for the day. Steve had the fairest price out of the 4 landscapers we contacted. We are very happy with the end result. read more

Advanced Pacific Landscape - Landscaping Near Me

My backyard needed help, badly. It wasn't just the cracked, 3" thick concrete slab in the shape of a giant goldfish (see the "before" shot) that embarrassed me. It was also the remnants of a shoddy, ramshackle, handmade koi pond; it was the expanse of tangled Queen Palm roots, desperately surfacing in their search for water; it was the sick occupation of various weeds that promised continued sactuary for anything that scuttled, burrowed, or spun. Shovel in hand, I flanked left and attempted a full frontal assault. But I was easily overcome, and things were getting worse! I finally decided to commission professionals: no less than five licensed contractors came by to assess the damage and submit estimates. And in the end, I chose Advanced Pacific Landscape. Within five working days, Steve and his crew removed the unwanted concrete, set up a sprinkler system in the back and front yards, laid mow curb, and spread new sod throughout (see the "after" shot.) And I'm telling you that I could not have been happier with the results! I chose Advanced Pacific Landscape not only for their competitive bid--Steve did offer a great price--but I also chose Advanced Pacific for their professionalism. Steve is very personable, never showed up without a smile and a handshake, and is--without a doubt--super knowledgable about landscaping. And not only that, but he also has a network of professionals who are capable of completing any job that needs doing: I've yet to rebuild my back porch and fencing, but when I'm ready, Steve supplies contacts. Thanks again, Steve! read more

Is there a rating higher than 5 star? The business owner walks through the process at every step, including once the job is completed. There is no guessing or wondering on the part of the customer or the company. Steve is friendly, on time, and provides no surprise estimates. Thank you Advanced Pacific Landscape! read more

I will try to keep this brief. I've read a couple reviews about this company not being good about getting back to potential clients. When I first contacted Steve, truth be told, we did play a bit of phone tag. I could not be happier with both of our persistence and patience. Steve and his brother Brad don't show up in nice cars, wearing suits, and quoting top dollar. No, they are your typical lifelong construction guys. They show up and gave me a very fair quote. I called them back after a few weeks of deliberating. They came out to fine tune the job details and began the next morning. ***IMPORTANT PART*** Steve, Brad, and their crew showed up every day at 8am and worked their full 8 hours (minus lunch break). They did this until the job was finished. Their attention to detail is off the charts. Extremely hardworking men. They removed a lot of old concrete (used for a decorative wall, out of back yard: two low boys full). Extended my driveway by 10 feet wide and 22 feet length. Built 3 foot stackable wall. Leveled front yard and put in fresh sod. Built a picket fence around front yard. You are not getting top dollar, spit shined, and pretty. These guys are blue collar, hard workers, who take pride in their work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If they don't answer, keep bugging them. I had to. It is what it is. They get busy. But when they commit, it's on. read more

Steve did an amazing job on my yard! My yard was compacted, clay, fill-dirt that just didn't want to grow grass no matter how much I watered (lots of $$ for water). The previous homeowner planted palms right against the front curb that really weren't going to survive well. I decided no more grass! He was a little skeptical at what I wanted, and took me to the plant yard to pick out plants. He made some excellent recommendations and fixed the irrigation system. Photos of my yard before, and after two year's growth. My neighbors are constantly telling me what an improvement to the community. Much less work, and VERY much less water. The plantings along the sidewalk on the left side of the house eliminated the constant urine smell because now every dog that passes has no grass to urinate upon. read more

After finding their website via yelp, I sent an email with some questions about a job I needed doing on my back slope...I needed irrigation and plants installed. I got a response back within an hour and after explaining what I needed got a quote the next day. After accepting the quote, the work was done within a week. Overall, very responsive, competitive price and quick completion. read more

We have been working with Steve for over a year and often call him with our landscaping needs: planting, irrigation, ground cover, etc... He is very reliable, transparent with all the charges, a good listener and easy to work with. He has his a permanent crew and they all do a good job. He is particularly helpful when choosing which plants to use and how they should be irrigated, and always offers them to us at prices that reflect his own contractor's discounts. He promptly replies to any questions and is always available to us for free advice. He recently completed a project in our front yard that entailed selection, delivery and placement of colored gravel and mulch, and we are very happy with the results. read more

When it comes to any of our landscaping, irrigation, concrete laying or flagstone grouting needs, we rely on Advanced Pacific Landscape and the expertise of its owner --Steve Shaw. We have been working with Steve for over a year and really like the way he does business. After finishing his work, Steve would normally stop by to make sure that all has been done correctly and up to his high standards. He is personable, reliable and caring. Also, his has been in business for many years and his pricing is very reasonable. As an example, just a few days ago one of our old PVC irrigation pipes broke (no fun, especially in the middle of summer!), so we called Steve, who was busy with another job, but was able to come quickly to the rescue and replace the broken pipe section. We feel good about referring family, friends and neighbors to Steve at Advanced Pacific Landscape at (949) 661-0265 (office) or (951) 259-6412 (cell). read more

Just had Advanced Pacific redo our front landscape. Steve and his crew were great. Frome estimate through completion, I couldn't ask for a better experience. Steve gave us a fair price, met us at the nursery to pick plants, delivered them and finished the job a week later...and didn't break a single sprinkler head!!!! Highly recommended. read more

Strange business. Spoke with owner (Steve). He came over, provided an estimate and promised to contact me with a date. I contacted him to let him know he won the bid. Then no communication. Go figure. read more

Supposed to remove stumps with a grinder but had a lame excuse for why he didn't need one. Barely got the stump below the surface and did pretty half assed work in general. I had to keep on him to do what he had to do right. Better off using someone else in my opinion. read more

Nice guy but a flake. First he forgot our appointment and then came out the next day after I followed up with him. Second he told me I'd have the quote the next day, three days later I followed up and he was going to get it to me that night. Two weeks later I still have not received a quote. He knew it was a small project before coming out but rather than say it was too small he just blew me off. read more

Steve did an excellent job with our lawn and irrigation system. It has been one year and it looks as good as it did the day he put it in. There are no brown patches where the sprinklers don't hit. He listened to what we needed and did exactly what we wanted. Everyone that sees our backyard envies it. read more

Steve and his team were awesome! They did a great job re-landscaping my backyard and adding concrete to my front side yard. Steve and his guys always showed up on time, were very nice, and kept good communication throughout the whole process. Steve worked on my backyard a month ago. I and my wife are in love with the new look of our backyard since then. Before we decide to work with Steve, we contacted three contractors, we liked Steve's landscaping idea and drainage solution. His price was also very competitive. It was very pleasant to work with Steve and his assistant, Paul. Their job was professional and outcome was better than expected. Thank you, APL! read more
