Our back yard was overgrown and ready for a facelift. On day 1 Antonio and his crew removed old planting, brought in gypsum, other amendments and fertilizer to bring the soil to proper ph level. The sprinkler system was renovated to be appropriate for new planting. On day 2 we met Antonio at a nursery to choose the plants requested in the design. Put out a request to a few providers and ended up going with the team at Mendoza Landscaping and I couldn't be happier. Our backyard was overgrown and in desperate need of some TLC. We hired Antonio to pull out all the old fake grass and replace it with real grass, pull out a raised planter, redo irrigation, install a new planter, and re-do a patio/pavers. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Fair pricing, high quality work, good attention to all the details, great communication, and quick to adjust and adapt as things cropped up. While they were redoing the patio, I asked them to re-run a broken wall box and sort out some drainage, which they took care of with no complaints or issues. I really liked that I simply had to mention something once to Antonio, and then I could sit back and be confident it would get taken care of without me having to follow up. Antonio also helped us find a perfect tree for what we wanted -- I think he ended up checking about five different nurseries for us! They were also super speedy. Antonio and his crew were outstanding. I have never seen a crew work so hard and be so professional. Antonio is extremely knowledgeable about everything we needed done. He and his crew removed a 2' retaining wall, 10' of old plants on the slope and a large area of grass on the lawn. They Installed new drip irrigation, privacy hedge and a decomposed granite patio. Antonio's quote was SO reasonably priced and since they were able to start the next day, work was underway before I had the whole plan figured out. These guys work harder than anyone who's stepped foot in my yard. I had quite a bit of yard drains to clear and they came out with 4 guys, and worked tirelessly for 3-days to repair, replace, and clear all my yard drains before the rainy season. When they ran into snags and changes to the project, they communicated the trouble they were having and laid out my options. I opted to go with having them out for an extra day for an additional cost to finish clearing a final line which ran underneath my patio and was happy to know everything was done right. The work involved the installation of artificial turf, low voltage lights, irrigations, planter boxes (with concrete base and tile work upon our request), relocation of existing 24-gal trees, and planting of a new 24-gal tree. Had a very pleasant experience with Antonio and his crew. I had a LARGE bush that needed to be trimmed down to almost nothing as well as some other yard work, and they worked quickly and efficiently even though it was hovering in the mid-90s today and you couldn't even breathe without sweating. They completed the job in a timely manner and for a fair price, and removed all of the yard waste in their trailer (there was a lot, too).
