My contractor selected this company to fabricate and install my kitchen countertops and backsplash…read more I had selected very beautiful quartz slabs at the local MSI quartz warehouse. RSI cut the slabs and installed them. They ruined my island counter with a scrape. It looked like it was touched up with caulk to hide it. I have large grooves in one countertop. They wrote the letter "B" directly on the white of my back splash pieces. There isn't sufficient caulking in many joints where the slabs meet. The cut line stands out. Tammy from RSI kept telling me she was sending someone out for service but never did after many missed promises. She told me to use soft scrub to remove their writings on the quartz. I called MSI quartz directly for their recommendations and they said not to use abrasive cleaners and suggested Dawn dish detergent and water. It didn't work. My contractor moved on to the next job and doesn't care. It's horrible that RSI doesn't care about the quality of their work or care about the homeowner. I spent a lot of money for beautiful quartz and deserve undamaged product. I do not recommend them.

I think we ended up checking them out because they were open on a Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a nice variety of product and the service was excellent. I don't remember the name of our salesperson, only that I was amazed that he was still in high school but so poised and knowledgeable about countertops! We decided on a quartzite slab for our kitchen and got a very reasonable price. Half Price Countertops cuts, fabricates, and installs the slab. We had to wait for our cabinets to be installed first, but as soon as they were done we called, and Half Price Countertops was immediately ready to start the installation process. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen counters look amazing! We did have one small glitch where our dishwasher did not fit after installation. We called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and within a couple of days someone was there to fix the issue. We are extremely happy with our kitchen countertop and I would highly recommend this company: Great product, service, and value!

What a wonderful, caring company to work with!…read more After having a nightmare of a contractor leave us with a horrible Cambria counter top, we researched and found Marble and Granite Connection. I'm so glad that we did! From the moment we walked in, we were treated with respect and care. We explained our situation and Andre made sure that we were communicated with every step of the way as we replaced the nightmare. I L O V E communication - I can work with anything that comes up if I'm informed and the company works with me. Marble and Granite alerted me that during their checks, they found that two slabs from Cambria didn't look exactly the same. Could I please come over and confirm their opinion. I could only come over at 7am before work and the owner happily met me that early to make sure we get it right. I loved the concern! Yep, the second slab was not going to match the first. That's when Marble and Granite went to bat for me. They fought with Cambria to make sure that I received a free replacement slab that matched the good slab. Took some time to get the new slab but when it arrived, I again was invited down to make sure I was happy with the replacement. Such wonderful service! It was a match and they proceeded to fabricate. I couldn't be home to install when they would be ready and the next weekend would be the Labor Day weekend. Didn't matter to Andre and Marble and Granite. They just wanted to make sure that I was happy with their work and the results! So here I sit, looking at my new counter top. The guys who removed the old and installed the new were professional, funny, on time and called before they left for my house and couldn't have been nicer to work with. No fuss, no muss and everything done to perfection. Cleanup was meticulous with a double check to make sure nothing was left behind. I highly recommend anyone needing marble, granite or quartz fabrication/installation/design to give Marble and Granite Connection a try. You will not be sorry you did! Fabulous people, fabulous work and great communication! I couldn't be happier!

WARNING BEWARE We…read morepurchase 2 slabs of Granite for $1,701.32. For the first 3 days after installation it was dirty and full of rock granules. I just thought it was not cleaned well after installation so I looked it up and found that these are symptoms of INFERIOR QUALITY STONE. Now weeks later it still continues. Geovana who sold us the granite came out to the home and wiped a small tiny area clean and said instantly with a bad attitude there is nothing wrong with it, it just needs to be sealed. I explained that the information we looked up said sealing will not stop the issue. I asked her to make us happy customers and seal it for us and she refused. We then paid for it to be sealed for almost $300 and it did not work just like every article says. My contractor tried to speak with her because he was at my home for several days and he saw what was going on but she told him I am just trying to get a free countertop. She told him I spread something on the counter to make it dirty. We purchased from their Boynton store not the main location. I looked them up on sunbiz.org and it's registered to the Pompano store. I thought I would try to speak to the owner at that location to get some help. When Cynthia answered the phone I told her I was having trouble with the manager at the Boynton store so can I please speak to the owner. She insisted I call the Boynton store and talk to Geovana. I explained Geovana was the problem 3 times. She took my number and said the owners daughter would call me. 3 minutes later Geovana calls me yelling, screaming, threatening, cursing. She called me a liar and said I just want a free counter and she never heard of such a thing as we are experiencing. After 9 minutes of her threatening me cursing screaming and yelling she said she would refund our money but karma is a b**ch and will come back to get you and slammed the phone down. If you Google why is my new granite counter always dirty you will see link after link after link saying the same thing it's DUE TO POOR QUALITY GRANITE, AN ISSUE THAT CANNOT BE SOLVED WITHOUT REPLACEMENT. SEALING IT WILL NOT HELP. That means ripping off the backsplash which will destroy the sheetrock, removing the sink, plumbing, electric and hauling away 1500lbs of granite then reconnect everything and buying new stone having it fabricated again and so on. No one is going to do this for free. My contractor gave me a proposal to do all of this for just over $5000.00. That's after the entire kitchen renovation for $25,000.00 was spent already. After I got off that call Geovana called my contractor yelling and screaming at him that he's in on it and he's coaching me on what to say. Since I thought Geovana was only involved with the Boynton store I tried again to call the Pompano store 4 days later and Cynthia answered again. I asked her why would you call Geovana when I told you Geovana was the problem, she put me on hold and wouldn't you know it Geovana is back on the phone. So it turns out she's the owners wife. She began yelling and threatening to sue me and said I wouldn't get a penny back. So much for the refund she said we would get. So my contractor will re-do everything mentioned above for over $5000.00, we need new granite for $1,700.00 after spending $25,000.0 0. THE ENTIRE JOB IS RUINED BECAUSE OF THEIR INFERIOR QUALITY PRODUCTS. Geovana also told my contractor if we dispute the charge on our credit card she will put a lean on the home.
