We did not try to negotiate too much but were happy with how we were treated. Production time was quick with a flawless install. We went to the shop based on an advertisement and Raquel showed us the options. We asked to see the advertised $28 granite but it was not what we wanted. We felt a bit like it may be a "bait and switch" as the photos on the web site were the better quality, but the pricing for the "real" granite was still less than others. We accepted this as a way for them to bring in customers. To be fair, you can now get an instant quote for the different granite styles. Before we chose a style, Emmanuel came to the condo to measure and give us advice. We had a nice chat and he made us feel comfortable with our decisions. We went back to the shop, chose our exact slab, discussed which parts to use for each given area and gave a deposit. Once we had the cabinets installed, Reuben came to measure. He made a template and gave us advice on how to reinforce the sheet-rock in preparation for the granite. The countertop was ready in about a week. Reuben came with one helper to install the countertop. They were having a tough time lifting the granite from the cart. Luckily our painter jumped in to help and the granite was installed. All-in-all we are very happy with the experience. The granite looks great. Note: You should go to the shop to see the granite cutting machine. The kid in me was fascinated. It is on a street with other granite shops so you can do comparison shopping.

Not only were they less expensive, they helped me find the most magnificent granite at a fantastic price from a neighboring stone supplier. From the first call I made, the experience was incredible. The receptionist at the front desk was welcoming and helpful, the owner took time to give expert advice on selecting the right stone, and the measuring team and installers were absolute professionals. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in their work. I actually dropped my contract with Lowe's and I'm so glad I did. I ended up with a much nicer stone for less money--and the entire process, from measurement to installation, was completed in just two weeks! They installed granite in both my kitchen and bathroom, and the way they matched the slabs between the counters and full heightbacksplash was perfection. The seams are beautiful, the workmanship is top-notch, and the final result exceeded my expectations. I'm beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. If you're looking for a company you can truly trust--one that combines friendliness, speed, expert guidance, and outstanding craftsmanship--I highly recommend Best Granite for Less. We needed a total remodel and could not get away long enough to go stay and watch every contractor. As I was calling around another contractor suggested MELTINI as a company that could do whole home remodeling. They obviously have a showroom in the area as well I didn't know about, so he was able to get supplies much cheaper than I expected, especially right now. He handled everything for us. Sent us pictures daily of what was completed. We flew down once and checked in around halfway and did not even bother going back until he told us it was finished. Within a month we were renting the house again. We have several properties in the area and this will be who I use from now on. Highly recommended company, especially for busy property owners. And a special thank you to MELTINI for making our lives so much easier.

Withheld homeowner's paid-for materials and left a family without a usable kitchen…read more Our experience with Holz Home Design has been extremely disappointing and damaging. After our contractor was terminated, Holz refused to release remaining cabinetry materials required to complete our kitchen unless the contractor paid his outstanding balance -- despite the fact that we, the homeowners, had already paid for the cabinets. As a result, our kitchen was left half finished and unusable for an extended period of time, causing significant hardship to our family, including a household with a baby under one year old. We offered to pay Holz directly for the materials currently completed and being held for our project, but still refused to release the materials. Homeowners should be aware that Holz's business practices may leave you caught in the middle of contractor payment issues, even when you are willing to resolve matters directly. This situation created unnecessary stress, delays, and disruption in our home. I would strongly caution any homeowner to fully understand how materials are controlled and released before proceeding with this company.

We recently totally renovated and updated our Kitchen and Bar with Allied Kitchen and Bath. From the very moment we walked into the showroom until the last detail was completed we had a fantastic experience. After visiting several other places, not one of them suggested the design and layout that our designer Rob Feinberg at Allied did. They completely transformed the flow of our entire house by adding a large central island as a gathering place, work space and storage area. They suggested wall ovens to save space as well as adding a bar to use for mixing drinks and serving adjacent to the island. It is so stylish and we have had so many compliments on the design, material and style we were guided to. They had many choices of cabinets at many different price points, styles and colors, and we were shown and directed to what would look best and provide the greatest value. The cabinets arrived quickly and they had their teams at our house immediately to prep and install all the components. The workers were timely, very organized, efficient and each were long term employees so we felt very comfortable through the entire process. They left the house spotless each day, and took great care in both the demolition of our old kitchen and bar, as well as assuring everything was perfect down to the last detail on the new one. I really had no idea of the extent of what would be needed and felt that using a company with 40 years of experience was especially important. We are so glad we did. We felt very confident every step of the way, and were thrilled with the constant communication from both Bob the Project Manager and Bill Feinberg, the owner and updates throughout the whole project from conception to completion. Allied Kitchen and Bath is an award winning company, and we are thrilled to share how they have earned that and have remained number one in our area for all these years.
