We recently totally renovated and updated our Kitchen and Bar with Allied Kitchen and Bath. From the very moment we walked into the showroom until the last detail was completed we had a fantastic experience. After visiting several other places, not one of them suggested the design and layout that our designer Rob Feinberg at Allied did. They completely transformed the flow of our entire house by adding a large central island as a gathering place, work space and storage area. They suggested wall ovens to save space as well as adding a bar to use for mixing drinks and serving adjacent to the island. It is so stylish and we have had so many compliments on the design, material and style we were guided to. They had many choices of cabinets at many different price points, styles and colors, and we were shown and directed to what would look best and provide the greatest value. The cabinets arrived quickly and they had their teams at our house immediately to prep and install all the components. The workers were timely, very organized, efficient and each were long term employees so we felt very comfortable through the entire process. They left the house spotless each day, and took great care in both the demolition of our old kitchen and bar, as well as assuring everything was perfect down to the last detail on the new one. I really had no idea of the extent of what would be needed and felt that using a company with 40 years of experience was especially important. We are so glad we did. They take your money and disappear. One guy wouldn't put anything in writing. He didn't even have a business card. Another "company" gave me a low quote but didn't want to get building permits. He asked me to be vague about the project with my condo management. All red flags. A neighbor suggested Allied. They did great work for him and kept the mess to a minimum by protecting his carpet and hardwood floors. I met with Lewis, a designer at Allied and we discussed options for my bathroom. I had a strict budget and I found Lewis willing to work within it. He came up with great ideas. Allied does things the right way. Designer drawings are done. An architect creates blueprints that breeze through the city permitting process. In a few weeks the project began. Trevor did a wonderful job installing a Schluter Shower System, a product that guarantees no leaks for life! Mark and Angelo were fantastic at setting the fixtures and rough carpentry and keeping dust to a minimum. Adam was my project manager who was available by cell if I had ANY concerns. Chris and Liz were awesome at helping me select tiles and finishes. Everybody was helpful and professional!! I never enjoyed a construction project so much. I found Allied to be top notch. Professional. Helpful. They wanted to be a five star company for me.

They came to my house to measure the next day using using a laser measurement tool and returned to install the pieces in just a few days. Amazing turnaround time! Great price, too. The best part? He apologized for the way were treated, and he immediately sent out their carpenter to modify our drawers. We have uploaded more pictures showing the modified drawers and finished work. The owner was very supportive and assured us that he places a high priority on customer service and that he will work with the staff to improve things based on our experience. We would give the owner 5+ stars, but unfortunately, the experience before he got involved was not good. This is a solid company that stands behind their work, and hopefully, in the future, no one will experience what we went through. We are very happy with our counters. ‐-------end of update‐-------

I wanted to like this store and the owner. But what was delivered was unsatisfactory, especially…read morefor the price. You can't really inspect the vanity if you live in an apartment because they will not remove the covering before it is brought up to the apartment and installed. Upon removing the cardboard packaging, and shrink-wrap, I found a nick on the quartz top, a cut (more like a "gash") on the left side of the vanity, and drawers that don't align or close to be level with the rest of the body. The last items especially cannot be known until the entire vanity is fully installed. The owner offered to replace it with another vanity. There are several problems with that -- one is removing the installation, which would include undoing the plumbing, and finding a way to bring it downstairs again, when bringing it upstairs was difficult enough. And the probability that these problems with the drawers not aligning will likely exist with the new vanity, since it has to do with sloppy construction and bad design. It's not likely that the piece that I have is the only one with these issues. Curiously, the handyman who installed the vanity showed me that there were holes drilled on the back of the vanity, as if someone had planned on attaching a mirror. That means that the vanity is either returned to the store or "manufacturer" or it's a second hand piece. As for the gash -- that is the most offensive flaw. I suppose I'll have to repair it with wood filler and live with it. What I have asked was that I be given a discount for these flaws. I hope the owner will change his mind and agree to do so.

Half Price Countertops is a no frills warehouse in Fort Lauderdale selling slabs of granite,…read morequartz, and quartzite. I think we ended up checking them out because they were open on a Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a nice variety of product and the service was excellent. I don't remember the name of our salesperson, only that I was amazed that he was still in high school but so poised and knowledgeable about countertops! We decided on a quartzite slab for our kitchen and got a very reasonable price. Half Price Countertops cuts, fabricates, and installs the slab. We had to wait for our cabinets to be installed first, but as soon as they were done we called, and Half Price Countertops was immediately ready to start the installation process. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen counters look amazing! We did have one small glitch where our dishwasher did not fit after installation. We called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and within a couple of days someone was there to fix the issue. We are extremely happy with our kitchen countertop and I would highly recommend this company: Great product, service, and value!

I guess these guys were formerly Half price Countertops in Ft Lauderdale or at least that's what…read morethey told me. That was a good company- these guys aren't half as good. I picked out a remnant for an island in my kitchen. I was told it would be ready in three days. It took a week and 3 days. I ordered a 1/2 round radius all around the edge and it came nearly square corner. When I brought it to their attention, I received no response after weeks. The caulking job was a mess I cleaned up after the installers left. A 38" x 19" slab cost me $600.00. I hate to write a bad review but they earned it.
