We did and a very helpful gal actually walked us over to the area. That was a first. There were not many shoppers when we stopped by mid-day midweek. That was fine with us as we could browse leisurely. As it turns out, this store just added a health and beauty section. I didn't realize the different stores had different stock. We were told that Boca and Aventura have cosmetics, still, as they've always had them. But meanwhile, I was able to find one product there that I'd had to special order online only from another store. So I was happy. We came here to get another digital bathroom scale like the one we'd purchased before. We were lucky in that they had the same brand (even at the same low price). Another successful buy. We walked around the store --even though we had found what we came for -- checking out all the clearance sections. I guess with the reorganization they are getting rid of some old stuff, certain brands, etc. And I figured it didn't hurt to get in some steps for the day. The store is clean and organized by sections. Some things are pricey and something are very well priced. It varies and it helps to know in advance what the average range is; however, the quality of most items seemed better than your usual discount store. We were in the area to go to the Doris' Market in the same plaza. And should we need something similar, we'd combine trips in the future, as well.

Now I have to find a box to fit 18 towels into and take it to a UPS store. I'm just hoping that UPS does not charge me a fee. From now on, I'm sticking with Amazon. They don't charge me anything, I don't need a box as I can just take the product and leave it at the designated place. Super simple.

On October 1st I went to the store and selected my slab. I then notified Nelson about my selection. Now the amazing part. Just 72 hours later Nelson contacted me and asked if they could do the install. I am sure my situation was somewhat rare and the stars aligned but I was truly astonished. It was dark, there was little counter space, and the appliances were old. We had minimal storage which was not functional. I looked up designers on the internet and was impressed with the comments from her customer reviews. She was one of 4 kitchen designers I reached out to and the first to respond. Two others ignored my request, and the 4th wouldn't come out to assess my needs if I wasn't willing to commit to a project date and budget. She was gracious, kind, responsive, professional, and most of all creative in her approach to solving our problems. She actually listened to me and wanted to know what we were looking for. She met with us a few days after our first conversation and assessed our kitchen. The one aspect we did like in our kitchen was our cabinets. They were extremely high-end, very beautiful but just not enough of them. Because we wanted a ton more storage and counter space, I expected her to do to a total gut of the kitchen and replace all cabinets. Instead, Virginia took one look at our cabinetry and said these must stay - they are spectacular! She looked at our current kitchen layout and noted that because the entire floor area had high-end marble, gutting the kitchen and coming up with a different layout would mean finding matching marble for the floors and also would be quite expensive. Instead, she came up with a remarkable design that allowed me to keep my beautiful cabinets and gained me an insane amount of new storage and counter space by building out the cabinetry into a large peninsula island with counter seating, expanding the current footprint over the marble floor and adding a beverage area with a wine fridge to the backside of our kitchen. She had cabinetry custom-made to match all my current cabinetry. The stain and everything matched to a T!!!! Anyone coming in after the renovation could not tell which cabinets were the existing cabinets and which were new. So amazing and it saved us a ton of money. Virginia helped me every step of the way, guiding me through selections of new appliances, lighting, countertops, etc. She took me to several granite/quartz warehouses to find the perfect countertops. The contractors she used for the renovation were fabulous. They all did great work, were courteous and conscientious. Throughout the process Virginia kept me informed and we never went outside of our budget. What she quoted for the work was spot on. The best part of the whole experience was working with Virginia. She was more than a creative designer; she became a friend. I am so thankful we selected Creative Kitchens of South Florida to renovate our kitchen. A lot of the work was done to a very low standard which she at many times admitted and had it redone. She said she couldn't be responsible for what was going on in her workers private lives. Some things had to be redone several times. It's just is not a quality finish. We were not happy with the quality of the marble that she installed. After installation it became apparent that it was covered with scratches, dents, marks and was really badly chipped. She had somebody work on it for two days to try to repair it. He didn't do a bad job considering how bad it was but bearing in mind that the bathroom was brand new and we had paid her so much money we told her that it was not acceptable. Stupidly I had paid her in full and didn't hold any money back as I thought she would do right by us. A lesson learned. Extremely disappointing job from a small local company.

From the very moment we walked into the showroom until the last detail was completed we had a fantastic experience. After visiting several other places, not one of them suggested the design and layout that our designer Rob Feinberg at Allied did. They completely transformed the flow of our entire house by adding a large central island as a gathering place, work space and storage area. They suggested wall ovens to save space as well as adding a bar to use for mixing drinks and serving adjacent to the island. It is so stylish and we have had so many compliments on the design, material and style we were guided to. They had many choices of cabinets at many different price points, styles and colors, and we were shown and directed to what would look best and provide the greatest value. The cabinets arrived quickly and they had their teams at our house immediately to prep and install all the components. The workers were timely, very organized, efficient and each were long term employees so we felt very comfortable through the entire process. They take your money and disappear. One guy wouldn't put anything in writing. He didn't even have a business card. Another "company" gave me a low quote but didn't want to get building permits. He asked me to be vague about the project with my condo management. All red flags. A neighbor suggested Allied. They did great work for him and kept the mess to a minimum by protecting his carpet and hardwood floors. I met with Lewis, a designer at Allied and we discussed options for my bathroom. I had a strict budget and I found Lewis willing to work within it. He came up with great ideas. Allied does things the right way. Designer drawings are done. An architect creates blueprints that breeze through the city permitting process. In a few weeks the project began. Trevor did a wonderful job installing a Schluter Shower System, a product that guarantees no leaks for life! Mark and Angelo were fantastic at setting the fixtures and rough carpentry and keeping dust to a minimum. Adam was my project manager who was available by cell if I had ANY concerns. Chris and Liz were awesome at helping me select tiles and finishes. Everybody was helpful and professional!! I never enjoyed a construction project so much. I found Allied to be top notch. Professional. Helpful. They wanted to be a five star company for me.
