New patient, took kids to Dr. Kao (kid 1) last year and Dr. Wong (kid 2) this year post-covid. Online scheduling was so convenient. Very knowledgeable and friendly doctors both times, super great with kids. Super clean. They checked temperature at the door, then had us wash our hands. I was really glad to have all the procedures, because these day, you want to be on the safe side. They're so considerate not to schedule 2 appointments at the same time, to follow social distancing rules. Unlike some other practices, they are really easy going with purchasing glasses. I like this office a lot, they feel very familiar, like an old friend. I look forward to my kids' annual checkup next year.

I brought my very wiggly, impatient, and dramatic five year old for an eye exam at STL optometry, after a not so great experience at another optometrist. Everyone at STL was amazing. Absolutely wonderful experience. The front desk people are kind and polite. We saw Dr. Lai, and she was kind, patient, strategic and gentle with our kiddo, who does not yet read. She even managed to dilate their eyes, which had been impossible at the other optometrist. The selection of children's eyeglasses is outstanding, they were careful measuring, and we are very happy with our entire experience. Highly recommend, especially for young children.

STL offers amazing glasses that are both cute and help those in need!

I rarely write Yelp reviews but just had to leave one for the wonderful staff at STL! The entire process was so smooth and easy - normally I dread going to the optometrist due to previous experiences / complications with having really poor eyesight. But this time, it was super fast, and Dr. Wang + Dr. Kao were both extremely professional, patient, and friendly!! Highly recommend 10/10.

My go to. Really kind and thoughtful optometry care. 10 years and counting. However, I believe they're moving office?

Upon entering the building you are required to wear masks, which in 2025 is uncommon, but appreciated. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. After waiting for maybe one minute I was already called back for my exam. The doctor was very efficient and thorough. On my exam there was once concern the doctor had, so they actually had me retake one of the eye tests to double check. When I got to try on glasses the lady helping me, I don't remember her name, unfortunately, but she was very kind and helpful. After I decided on a pair the total came to $125. I was about to use my debit card but she asked me if I had an FSA account (which I totally forgot about). This actually saved me money and made a big difference. Overall, this office is a 5/5. I will definitely be a returning patient.

It has since moved to its current location and there are two additional optometrist who practice in the same building. Dr. Seger is efficient and answers all my questions and concerns. He has seen my kiddo but he wasn't a good fit. Dr. Webb was a better fit as she is more kid friendly and is very patient and worked with my kiddo to complete the eye exam. After their initial visit I have always booked my child with her. She makes my kiddo feel at ease and is able to complete the entire eye exam at every visit. They carry a good selection of frames. The prices range from $$-$$$$. The ladies helping you pick out frames do their best to recommend frames that fit your face. They will check inventory for different colors and styles to meet your needs and wants. My recent visit was in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I scheduled my visit late August and was unable to schedule with Dr. Seger so I scheduled with Dr. Webb. I was emailed detailed instructions as to how my appointment would go. I called the front office to let them know I was in the parking lot. They screened me on the phone for COVID-19 symptoms. I was asked to come inside and my temperature was checked at the door. I noticed the front desk was covered in plexi glass to keep the receptionist safe. Once I was cleared they completed my initial eye procedures prior to the exam. The door held a sign before I entered that the machines had been sanitized. After I left the room the sign changed to unsanitized. I was taken to a room to wait for Dr. Webb. Dr. Webb entered and realized my mask was making my glasses foggy so she grabbed another mask for me to wear so I didn't have foggy glasses as I completed the first part of my eye exam. I appreciate that she finds way to make things work to complete the eye exam efficiently. I like her energy and enthusiasm! I completed my eye exam and met the front desk to complete my transaction. While scheduling my appointment the front desk was responsive. The visit was efficient and I never crossed path with another patient. Those looking for frames were seated more than 6 feet apart. The parking lot is spacious. The entrance is right away to your right and easy to miss. Slow down as you get closer to the office. Overall glad with the adjustments this optometry office has made during the current pandemic. Dr. Seger and Dr. Webb meet our optical needs.

At first, the staff refused to acknowledge any problem. Only after repeated follow-ups did they agree to send the glasses back to the factory and promised a two-week turnaround. After two weeks, there was no update. When I contacted them, they had no information and admitted that without my constant follow-up, the case would not have been handled. The issue was eventually fixed, which confirms my original concern was valid. Another thing is the lack of transparency during the purchase process. I was strongly recommended the most expensive lens-thinning option, and no alternative options were explained to me at the time, which led me to believe this was the only choice. My prescription is only 300 degrees, and later research showed that this level of thinning was unnecessary. The original lenses also showed no visible thinning, while the final product was clearly thinner. Acceptable final product, but poor communication, lack of transparency, and a service process that puts the burden on the customer.

About a year to maybe 18 months later, the blue color of my frames started to come off the bridge of the glasses (the part facing away from my face- very visible). There is now a big silver spot where the coloring is gone - which ruins the appearance of the glasses. I don't think I'm doing anything to have caused this and it hasn't happened with glasses in the past I bought other places. When I went back in to ask if there is anything that they can do - the response was very disappointing- defensive, acting like this is no big deal - just normal wear and tear. Both unsympathetic and unhelpful. The glasses were the most expensive pair I have ever purchased, even after subtracting the coverage from VSP. It would be nice if they stood behind their product a little. I will not return.

On the morning of Friday, December 30th, I called multiple optometry offices including Eye Sight Solutions Optometry. Jenny, one of the front desk attendants, not only fit me in later that same day but also called my insurance on my behalf to ask what the discrepancy was in the system. When I arrived, Cesar was helping other customers so Dr. Kim welcomed me in with a friendly smile and handed me the ipad to fill out some forms ahead of my first appointment. It's clear that no task is beneath her which is a great culture to have. The appointment with Dr. Kim was efficient, yet thorough. For example, Dr. Kim pointed out a structural inefficiency with my eyes that no other optometrist had ever pointed out, and she even showed me the images and explained in layman's terms. I never had any discomfort, as Dr. Kim was firm but gentle, when checking various aspects of eye health such as eye pressure. When I was checking out with Cesar, I tried on glasses but couldn't find one I liked that was affordable. Instead of pressuring me to buy a pair at the office, he assured me he would send me my prescription so I could take it anywhere online or to Costco down the street (which I did the next day to get my glasses). I'm pleased with how this visit went from initial phone call through follow-up, and I'll be continuing to come back.
