I was appreciative of the willingness to get me connected with a quilter and also their promptness in doing so. Although it appears to be a dusty old store front when looking at the entrance from Main Street, the Quilter's Garden has a large showroom of fabrics and quilting necessities. Come to find out, they do not items in the front window because of the sun and fading of fabrics. There is also a large upstairs area where quilter groups can gather and quilt. The staff was super friendly and eager to help when I was there in person in the store as well. On-line and face-to-face, a friendly welcoming operation.

But I have now been here a few times. The owner, Sharon, is great to work with and always takes time to answer my questions or make helpful suggestions. I am fairly new to quilting, but I'm hooked! Sharon also long-arm quilted a large, king-sized quilt for me, and it turned out great for a wedding gift. I would not have been able to quilt it myself on my home machine, and she finished it within a few weeks for me. Every time I have visited, here are some new, great quality fabrics. For me, this is over a 30-40 minute drive from home, but it is worth it for the quality materials, notions, and help I can get from Sharon. If you like to sew or craft, this is definitely a wonderful store to visit.

They have excellent variety of fabrics. If you are looking for seasonal patterns, their collections during Christmas and thanksgiving are impressively diverse. I usually look for simpler design which they carry much as well. The quality of the fabrics are just great. Also, they sell yarns, quilting tools, projects ideas, and many quilting inspiration products. The staff is always helpful when I'm looking for certain types of fabrics. As I know, they also have quilting classes available. For ones who don't have time for classes, they have packs that are ready for you to make at home with already cut fabrics which is nice.
