My service manager is Bobby, and he is training a whole crew in preparation for summer I imagine. Bobby is straight forward, efficient, welcomes questions, explains things and if you tell him something isn't quite right, he resolves it. Communication is terrific from Patriot. Sure, you get a standard readout of the service, but there will also be notes from the team answering your question, recommendations, etc. Sure, I'm new, only 2 months with them, but so far, stellar service.

Whenever he's done with service, you get a nice email summary with before and active pictures and details on what he's done and what levels your pool chemicals are at. We were struggling with a nasty, long-term problem: We hadn't seen the bottom of our pool in over…read more8 months. Nothing we did would clear up the water enough to see the bottom. We drained it and refilled it, but as soon as we turned our filter on, it clouded up literally within seconds. (We had just had our filter sand replace on recommendation of another vendor at $300.) Everyone we spoke to about the problem had a quick "solution" that cost another $100-$400. Each of these solutions failed. Finally we found Steve. Instead of just talking the talk and selling us repairs we didn't need, Steve actually came to look at our pool. After some very frugal experiments, Steve discovered our chlorinator wasn't working at all. He installed a new, better one for under $200. (Very slick, it has a window so we can see if there's chlorine in it.) And now our pool is crystal clear for several weeks. Great work.

After I sent several follow up emails asking for an explanation, he sent another short email and then never responded again. I thought he was our guy but something is wrong when an owner of a business won't respond to an almost complete contract. Something is wrong here.

Called 911 Pool Care on Saturday and got Chris, the owner. He was on another job but went out of his way to answer my questions, understand the issue, and talk me through a way to bypass the panel and get the pumps running. I am a capable handyman and comfortable with electrical wiring so I was able to follow his directions. I do not think any other company like this exists out there. 911 Pool Care is now on my speed dial.

I worked with them for close to a year and had to ask them almost monthly to find a new person to clean our pool. The kids they hire just do not understand how cleaning pools work, and the owners, who were very nice, would agree that it is 'hard to find good work these days'. For example, the pool cleaners would constantly brush the pool before vacuuming then the dirt would settle back in. The pool floor was always left dirty. I even would go out and speak with them to no avail. I can see them on the cameras doing it this way which was always so frustrating. Additionally, more often than not, they would neglect to leave chlorine in the bowl. No less than 5 times did I find the chlorine tablet sitting on top of the basket, which caused algae to grow The only reason I did not fire them sooner was because one of the pool cleaners had chipped tiles in our hot tub and the company promised to fix it. It took many, many, many months for them to finally fix the tiles which is appreciated (and why they are rated two stars instead of one). Ultimately, I hate to leave a negative review but this was very warranted. Do not use them for your service, especially if you are very passionate about a clean pool.
