First, the sales associate was at the counter when I walked in, which is a plus. I was the only customer in store, and when I asked where the cigarette tobacco was she just pointed. Here's some great sales techniques for new customers: ask specifically what they are looking for, and then "show" them where to find that product. I spent 10 minutes looking for cigarette tobacco amongst the 50 brands of pipe tobacco, because they only had 2 brands of overpriced cigarette tobacco which consisted of 3 bags. When I asked her why they only had 2 brands of cigarette tobacco? She said that because pipe tobacco is half the price, and customers buy more pipe tobacco than cigarette tobacco. News Flash: Pipe tobacco is meant to be smoked in a pipe, and not inhaled. My brother inhaled pipe tobacco for 2 years and coughing & hacking so bad. read more
