I was pleasantly surprised with the Anthony's on Broadway. I had gone to another location and did not care for the environment. This shop was nice and clean and the ventilation was good. It was not over smokey. They had a nice selection of cigars and the prices are good. I'm from California so anywhere is cheaper compared to us. The manager was very nice. We chatted and talked shop. I let him know I worked at Morgan Hill Cigar Lounge. Next time I'm in tucson, I'll be sure to stop by this location read more

Place has nice large walk in humidor with good selection of cigars. pleasant atmosphere with lounge chairs, large TVs and couple of ice machines for those wanting to enjoy a smoke. Prices are about 15 to 20 percent higher than I am used too. read more

Walked in to buy a couple a sticks and hoped to smoke one. All chairs were occupied but what was a mess was the fact that there were two guys sitting in chairs who were sleeping. So I ended up just buying cigars and leaving. The humidor is nice, but having people sleeping in the chairs is a bad look and adds a negative context to an otherwise nice shop. The guy at the counter was also rude when I asked about military discount. Made is seem like I was asking him to poke is eye with a needle while dropping F bombs during our interaction. Anthony's in Phoenix is much nicer and more professionally operated. read more

I've bought cigars from many online shops and the one thing that always bothered me was having to add 50 dollars of a cigar brand I don't want to get free shipping. I found the website for Anthony's and decided to give it a try. First, the price for the box of Gurkha 15 Year Cellar Reserve was substantially cheaper than I had been finding. Second, they had free shipping with no strings. The website is a lot clunkier to use than all the others I had been buying from, but I had my shipment within days. The last two cigars from two different locations in Tucson were dry and fell apart before I could smoke them. I tried to return one of the cigars at the Campbell location, but was asked to produce a receipt ... I had a pic of the broken cigar on my phone, but that wasn't good enough. Decided to give Anthony's the benefit of the doubt ... went back to the Grant store to buy a cigar ... mentioned the two previous cigar failures (no offer to correct the situation) ... I told the salesman that if it happened again, I would not buy any more cigars from them ... he said, do whatever you got to do. Then he got hostle and said, that was a threat to him ... so I said, okay, I will for sure not buy from Anthony's ever, again ... instead will buy online and left the store ... never to return. Anthony's apparently does not back their product and for sure, need to retrain the sale staff ... maybe this has happened before? read more

Traditional pipe and cigar place. Nothing fancy (fortunately), great pipe tobacco blends, helpful and kind service that makes you feel like you belong there. Whenever I pass through a town for the first time to spend a few days, I do recon on tobacco shop. Anthony's did not disappoint. Outstanding cigar selection (that means Davidoff-Patron-Ashton and more), so those of you looking for a cigar shop in Tucson realize, this place is not Walgreens, so don't expect to stop in to buy a gift for a friend or loved one, and be surprised when you don't find cigars priced like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. I had a tabletop lighter from Xikar that I was going to bring back to them after tracking down accurate inventory amongst all their locations. I spoke to ALEX over the phone verified the lighter I needed replaced in stock & told him I bought a lighter from another location & the top literally kept catching on fire in my hands & wanted to exchange it. His reply "Well why the f$&k are you bringing it back to me for?" (Not paraphrasing he actually said this) To which I simply hung up the phone. Joking or not, this type of camaraderie should be reserved for those who know you well enough to say that to. WHICH HE DOES NOT!!! Then, when my girlfriend goes to bring the item back, he replies with "Oh great so he sent you??" First off who is being sent is inconsequential, it's a business transaction. Secondly, I've spent well over a thousand dollars between their locations within the last year alone.. Lastly, to disrespect me is one thing, to disrespect someone who is doing a favor for me because I wouldn't make it before closing is none of his business. He has made me & the company I keep very upset to the point where we don't even want to step foot in there again since business as usual at Anthony's is treat paying customers like dirt & they will come back to you. It's very clear that all employees at his locations have got way to comfortable with clients to feel this is acceptable form of doing business. I have informed his supervisor & now the owner (awaiting callback). Sad but true. To all reading this.. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!! read more

This review is going to be short, just like the time I spent in here. I came here in hopes of finding an e-cigarette. As soon I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly man. The store actually smelled really good. They have a little area where anyone can sit and smoke a cigar and watch TV on their three HUGE flat screens. They also have a huge selection of cigars and paraphernalia. Unfortunately, they did not have what I was looking for. However, the guy who worked there told me where I could get one and was as helpful as he could be. read more

I usually visit the Anthony's up north, but was in the area and stopped by for Pipe Tobacco. It may seem silly, but I docked a star because the decor inside doesn't feel as elegant as the other two locations. Whereas the north and east locations have dark woods and spacious humidors, this one is more narrow with TV's and lounge chairs. Less ideal of a location to enjoy a cigar and talk than the other two. However, on a positive note, this location seems to keep in stoke the most pipe tobacco. Unfortunately, the employee did not know much about pipes. read more

Was told about this place by my friend CJ. Right when I walked in Alex was beyond friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all the cigars. Being in the cigar retail business myself, he was spot on and honest about what is good. They have a great selection as they even have the complete Davidoff Point of Merchant account & all the Padron lines. I liked the fact they had also had a lounge to sit back and enjoy a cigar. A nice little store that encourages you to sit for a spell. If you buy a cigar I think you can hang out for a bit and enjoy it in their den. The walk-in humidor is fairly well organized and the tobacco accoutrements seem of good quality. I don't have a frame of reference to judge the cigar brands they carry, as I'm no aficionado, but they carry a few luxury and natural brand cigarettes (Nat Sherman, Dunhill, Davidoff, American Spirits) and they usually have a stack of empty cigar boxes for sale if you're crafty. read more

I'm no cigar expert. I initially went in to buy cigar boxes. I smoke about 5 cigars a year, and this place is where I will go to smoke one if I'm not at home. Great service from down to earth friendly people, very clean and smells great. It doesn't smell like smoke, it smells like cigars.
