Traditional pipe and cigar place. Nothing fancy (fortunately), great pipe tobacco blends, helpful and kind service that makes you feel like you belong there. Whenever I pass through a town for the first time to spend a few days, I do recon on tobacco shop. Anthony's did not disappoint. I bought 4 new to me blends and would have enjoyed smoking them there but had to go. God bless you, Anthony's! read more

Not an enjoyable experience. I've been emailing their website about where to find a certain kind of cigar. They did not have it but recommended something else. I said thanks and that I would be in. When I got there it was busy. The employee was hanging out on the couch watching TV. I looked right at him and he did not acknowledge me. I looked around for about 5 minutes, trying to find the recommendation but could not find anything. When I came out to ask, the TV was muted and about 15 people were staring right at me, like I just hit someone's dog in dead silence. I have very severe PTSD from the war and this almost made me flip out. I don't appreciate being intimidated when walking into a business. Maybe they hate veterans, I don't know. Regardless, I asked the employee about the recommendation I was given and he laughed in my face implying I never emailed anyone. It was condescending and rude. This was also while in complete silence, tv muted, and every single person staring at me. I walked away from him and his gangs aggression and looked for a few minutes more. After another few LONG minutes he FINALLY walked in and started giving me recommendations, like I was forcing him to do his job. I didn't buy anything he recommended (after that he was probable trying to sell me stale ones), and just bought a couple individuals I already knew (not a box). When I checked out the tv was back on and people were not staring at me in disgust. So much for going to my closest cigar shop. Veterans are not welcome and ownership needs to get involved. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the Anthony's on Broadway. I had gone to another location and did not care for the environment. This shop was nice and clean and the ventilation was good. It was not over smokey. They had a nice selection of cigars and the prices are good. I'm from California so anywhere is cheaper compared to us. The manager was very nice. We chatted and talked shop. I let him know I worked at Morgan Hill Cigar Lounge. Next time I'm in tucson, I'll be sure to stop by this location read more

Anthony's Cigar Emporium - Viva la Vida Jester - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I asked for a specific type of lighter and was told that it was called something else, despite there being a display of them, BY THE NAME I USED, behind the employee's empty head. Then he offered me a very expensive one--2-5 times the typical price--and then one even more expensive than that. The entire time, the employee came off as if I was wasting HIS time, because I guess that the whole "offer goods and services in exchange for currency" part of his job was confusing to him. read more

Place has nice large walk in humidor with good selection of cigars. pleasant atmosphere with lounge chairs, large TVs and couple of ice machines for those wanting to enjoy a smoke. Prices are about 15 to 20 percent higher than I am used too. read more

Very helpful and friendly staff. My wife and I have been going to their lounge and everyone there has been very welcoming. I highly recommend this place. read more

Anthony's Cigar Emporium - Enjoying some Liga Privada Aniversario 10! - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

Service was crap. Some older gentleman closed early 'cause he wanted to. He was still there but refused to sell me a cigar - even though the hours were still open! Waisted 40 minutes of my evening. read more

Our go-to B&M cigar spot in Tucson! The staff is always helpful and the humidor is stocked with a nice variety of cigars for beginners who are new to the hobby/lifestyle and aficionados alike. The lounge is comfortable with a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend checking them out. read more

Walked in to buy a couple a sticks and hoped to smoke one. All chairs were occupied but what was a mess was the fact that there were two guys sitting in chairs who were sleeping. So I ended up just buying cigars and leaving. The humidor is nice, but having people sleeping in the chairs is a bad look and adds a negative context to an otherwise nice shop. The guy at the counter was also rude when I asked about military discount. Made is seem like I was asking him to poke is eye with a needle while dropping F bombs during our interaction. Anthony's in Phoenix is much nicer and more professionally operated. read more

Awesome place...great selection of sticks...really large humidor...Highly recommend! great location.

I've bought cigars from many online shops and the one thing that always bothered me was having to add 50 dollars of a cigar brand I don't want to get free shipping. I found the website for Anthony's and decided to give it a try. First, the price for the box of Gurkha 15 Year Cellar Reserve was substantially cheaper than I had been finding. Second, they had free shipping with no strings. The website is a lot clunkier to use than all the others I had been buying from, but I had my shipment within days. I couldn't be happier with my first experience with this company. read more

Disappointed in the quality last couple of times I was there. Cigars were drying out. Bought 2 M81s, and 4 various kids of acids

The last two cigars from two different locations in Tucson were dry and fell apart before I could smoke them. I tried to return one of the cigars at the Campbell location, but was asked to produce a receipt ... I had a pic of the broken cigar on my phone, but that wasn't good enough. Decided to give Anthony's the benefit of the doubt ... went back to the Grant store to buy a cigar ... mentioned the two previous cigar failures (no offer to correct the situation) ... I told the salesman that if it happened again, I would not buy any more cigars from them ... he said, do whatever you got to do. Then he got hostle and said, that was a threat to him ... so I said, okay, I will for sure not buy from Anthony's ever, again ... instead will buy online and left the store ... never to return. Anthony's apparently does not back their product and for sure, need to retrain the sale staff ... maybe this has happened before? read more

The selection is tops here, the lounge is comfortable. But let me make this clear... I buy a lot here. I buy because of Alex the store manager because he is no nonsense and lets me do my thing. I am a cigar enthusiast, I am more well versed in cigars than most. I choose Alex and the Anthony's on Broadway when I am in Tucson. Enough said. read more

Love this place when i am in Tucson. Outstanding cigar selection (that means Davidoff-Patron-Ashton and more), so those of you looking for a cigar shop in Tucson realize, this place is not Walgreens, so don't expect to stop in to buy a gift for a friend or loved one, and be surprised when you don't find cigars priced like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Great shop, nice environment, safe location, outstanding choice of premium cigars and pipes. This is always on my list of "must stops" when I'm passing into town. read more

The best place to get a cigar in Tucson. Great atmosphere, great conversation, lots of TVs and comfy leather chairs. The cigar selection is amazing and the staff is top notch. The Craycroft and Broadway location is my favorite. read more

THIS REVIEW IS FOR ALEX of BROADWAY/CRAYCROFT (But if not I will follow up with your boss & the owner personally, so don't worry) Mr. Mike Teufel I hope you are reading these. I had a tabletop lighter from Xikar that I was going to bring back to them after tracking down accurate inventory amongst all their locations. I spoke to ALEX over the phone verified the lighter I needed replaced in stock & told him I bought a lighter from another location & the top literally kept catching on fire in my hands & wanted to exchange it. His reply "Well why the f$&k are you bringing it back to me for?" (Not paraphrasing he actually said this) To which I simply hung up the phone. Joking or not, this type of camaraderie should be reserved for those who know you well enough to say that to. WHICH HE DOES NOT!!! Then, when my girlfriend goes to bring the item back, he replies with "Oh great so he sent you??" First off who is being sent is inconsequential, it's a business transaction. Secondly, I've spent well over a thousand dollars between their locations within the last year alone.. Lastly, to disrespect me is one thing, to disrespect someone who is doing a favor for me because I wouldn't make it before closing is none of his business. He has made me & the company I keep very upset to the point where we don't even want to step foot in there again since business as usual at Anthony's is treat paying customers like dirt & they will come back to you. It's very clear that all employees at his locations have got way to comfortable with clients to feel this is acceptable form of doing business. I have informed his supervisor & now the owner (awaiting callback). Sad but true. To all reading this.. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!! read more

This review is going to be short, just like the time I spent in here. I came here in hopes of finding an e-cigarette. As soon I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly man. The store actually smelled really good. They have a little area where anyone can sit and smoke a cigar and watch TV on their three HUGE flat screens. They also have a huge selection of cigars and paraphernalia. Unfortunately, they did not have what I was looking for. However, the guy who worked there told me where I could get one and was as helpful as he could be. read more

Friendly staff and an amazing selection. I didn't use the lounge but really liked what I saw.

I usually visit the Anthony's up north, but was in the area and stopped by for Pipe Tobacco. It may seem silly, but I docked a star because the decor inside doesn't feel as elegant as the other two locations. Whereas the north and east locations have dark woods and spacious humidors, this one is more narrow with TV's and lounge chairs. Less ideal of a location to enjoy a cigar and talk than the other two. However, on a positive note, this location seems to keep in stoke the most pipe tobacco. Unfortunately, the employee did not know much about pipes. read more

Friendly and knows the products. Place is very clean, they have a nice area to sit. They offer a military discount and have very reasonable prices. Best cigar shop in Tucson. read more

Great staff (Alex is AWESOME!!!!!!!) and a well stocked humidor. This place is like a home away from home. Highly recommended.

Super helpful people, answered all my questions. I go to Anthony's often to buy pipe tobacco.

Absolutely great service and great selection of cigars. I will only come here to buy and even sit and enjoy a stick! Great establishment.

A nice little store that encourages you to sit for a spell. If you buy a cigar I think you can hang out for a bit and enjoy it in their den. The walk-in humidor is fairly well organized and the tobacco accoutrements seem of good quality. I don't have a frame of reference to judge the cigar brands they carry, as I'm no aficionado, but they carry a few luxury and natural brand cigarettes (Nat Sherman, Dunhill, Davidoff, American Spirits) and they usually have a stack of empty cigar boxes for sale if you're crafty. read more

Was told about this place by my friend CJ. Right when I walked in Alex was beyond friendly and extremely knowledgeable about all the cigars. Being in the cigar retail business myself, he was spot on and honest about what is good. They have a great selection as they even have the complete Davidoff Point of Merchant account & all the Padron lines. I liked the fact they had also had a lounge to sit back and enjoy a cigar. They also have great prices as well. I also learned they have other locations as well. read more

I'm no cigar expert. I initially went in to buy cigar boxes. I smoke about 5 cigars a year, and this place is where I will go to smoke one if I'm not at home. Great service from down to earth friendly people, very clean and smells great. It doesn't smell like smoke, it smells like cigars. Great furniture to relax on, big screen TV's and nice people...I couldn't ask for more. read more

A terrific store! Great selection of cigars, terrific service, and the perfect place to while away a few hours with a good stick. I find ALL the Anthony's stores, and I do visit them all, to be GREAT cigar shops. Each one has its own unique personality.
